About: I did housesitting for several years with my brother's St. Bernard dog as you see on my profile picture. Last year, I housesat for three cats. Recently I did housesat for a dog over spring break. I owned a dog and several cats in the past. About senior care, I owned and took care of an older cat. I'm currently working as a teacher at school which ends on May 23rd then I can do it anytime since my other job as crisis counselor allows me to work at home. I need a good WIFI. I used leash for dogs when taking them on walks. For cats, it depends on owner. Some cats are outdoors or indoors. I make sure they go potty and have play time. I know cats are super picky about their litters so poops must be scooped out. I use bag to pick up dog poop. I try to find out what animals likes to do and spend time with them.

About: I've missed out on having more cats in my life since family members I grew up with were allergic. I never developed the allergy probably because my nature is cat-like :) Throughout 2025 I helped foster my neighbor's indoor cat. There are also several chickens that free roam during the day, but if your furry one struggles with them they wont mind spending some extra time in the coop! We have anywhere from 2-9 kids in the home or yard that also will give your furry loved one love and attention all day long! They are allowed anywhere we are! We have a loving home with a very large enclosed backyard. Your dog would not just be in their kennel but in our home as part of our family. I only watch one dog at a time unless it's from the same family because it's not about the money as much as ensuring your dog gets all of our complete attention and love. Your dog will usually get a minimum of one walk a day... (usually on the Spanish Fork River Trail when weather permits) We will go out of our way to accommodate special requests when needed. We have a great setup for dogs of all types, and we would love to watch your dog(s)! We acknowledge we may not be right for everyone. Please read all the details in our profile to determine if our home is right for you. We work from home - pet care is baked into our daily/weekly routine. A TYPICAL DAY: 7:00-8:30 a.m. interactive playtime (fetch, tug-of-war, etc. ) 8:30-9:00 a.m. morning feeding and rest 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. open playtime - we work while the dogs play. They come in an out freely while we supervise from our workstation. We group dogs as needed. See the safety, trust & environment section for details. 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. treats and training followed by quiet time in kennels 4:00 - 6:00 p.m interactive playtime round 2 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. evening feeding and quiet time in kennels 8:00 - 10:00 p.m. final playtime and bedtime routine (treats and training) 10:00 p.m. - 7:00 a.m. bedtime in kennels We prefer pickup/dropoff times between 7:00 - 10:00 a.m or 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. so we can devote time to helping the dogs adjust to the environment and their temporary pack. We engage in activities that stimulate their prey drive (fetch, tug-of-war...), play drive (playtime with Talley, Ozzy, and other guests), and work on training behaviors a couple of times a day, as appropriate. They are out of the kennel interacting with dogs and people most of the day. In order for your dog to have a great experience, they need to play well with other dogs and be comfortable spending time in a kennel. SAFETY & TRUST: We have been trained in behavior recognition to ensure the safety and enjoyment of our guests. When we have multiple guests, we group dogs as needed (by age, size, "fixed" or not, temperament, and/or energy level) to optimize the experience for each guest. We feed them in a kennel to ensure food isn't shared and give them quiet time after meals to ensure they have adequate time to digest before playing again. We expect our guests to be up to date with their vaccinations. When a new dog arrives give them time to explore on their own, then we gradually introduce them to other dogs to assess temperament and compatibility. That is the reason we prefer to limit the pickup and dropoff windows so we can devote that critical time. Please see availability for more info on times. ENVIRONMENT: We have a dedicated space both indoors and outdoors for the dogs. Inside we have an air-conditioned apartment dedicated to the dogs. They have a couch, area rug, background music, and their own 4x4, 4x6, or 5x5 kennel. We reserve a corner for a workstation where we work during the day. Outside we have a fenced area for the dogs with turf and toys. We setup a canopy for extra shade on hot sunny days since we don't have natural shade from trees yet. We wet the turf down on hot days to ensure it's comfortable for the dogs as well.

I, myself, have two doggies of my own. A sweetheart of a German Shepherd and one high maintenance Cocker Spaniel. They are my not just dogs, but a major part of our family. I fall in love with every dog I meet and my goal is to be your preferred sitter because I want to build a relationship with your pups (and you) so that they feel comfortable during their time with me! Plus then I get to see them regularly. :) I have a lot of experience with dogs. I am a certified pet groomer which I do not practice anymore but I am hoping to one day switch gears and become a professional dog trainer and hope to one day train service dogs. A little background on me——> I am 34 years old and have been obsessed with dogs and animals for as long as I can remember. I’ve been bit by several dogs (mostly due to grooming and training) and yet, I haven’t ever hated a dog. I am a very organized person who loves meeting new people (and pups!). This passion came from growing up on a farm. I have been taking care of many different types of animals since before I can remember. My mother also bred a couple different types of dog breeds growing up. There was never a moment without a dog or some type of animal that I had to look after. About: I’ve had dogs in my home since I was 7 years old. We’ve cared for dogs of all ages, from a 6 week old puppy too a 15 year old senior. We’ve cared for many breeds. I am a stay at home mom with a 10 year old girl and a 5 year old boy. I have plenty of free time to care for, walk, and play with your dog(s). I have a loving pit bull who is a gentle giant and two cats. I have a large fenced yard. My home is very small but we make do. I also have two children who love animals. I am a tattoo apprentice currently, and I make my own schedule, so I am more than willing to work within your needs for whatever works for both you and your furry friend! About: I grew up with a spunky black lab who lived to be 16 years old. Now I get to live with my sibling and my dog-niece who I also hope lives a long, healthy, happy life! We've been housemates for a few years now. Gently combing her curly hair is my favorite. I have an adaptable flow where I can give a pet activity if they are young and need it, or take it easy if they are older. I work with a flexible schedule from my laptop between Salt Lake County and Utah County, so I can adapt to your needs too! I like to first ask what schedule or routine your pet is used to and see how closely I can match that and their temperament. I'm used to an easeful morning, getting sun during lunch, and then some other kind of outing later in the evening even if it's just a walk. I like to try to make it to a team meeting Thursdays and Fridays in Salt Lake. I can time it so I'm not gone for long, or I can reschedule meetings depending on the circumstances, commute, animal temperament, etc. I'm happy to come to your place or host your pet at mine. I'm in a condo so I'll limit my boarding services to one pet at a time. If it's possible for me to come to you and get acquainted with your pet before overnight stays, I'd prefer that for more easeful transitions. If you come to my place, my apartment complex has green spaces and waste bag dispensaries distributed throughout the property where I walk my dog-niece in the evening. But during the day the dog is away with my sibling and I'm all alone. So your pet will have my attention. I'll ensure pets have their own separate, undisturbed sleeping space. If I come to your space, then of course your pet will be most familiar and cozy.
About: I’ve taken care of all kinds of animals my whole life, both big and small dog breeds, cats, bunnies, and horses. I’ve trained multiple different dog breeds. And pet sat for friends and family since I was twelve. I’ve fostered before and spent the past spring/summer volunteering at a shelter in Spanish fork so I’ve worked with a variety of personalities! I love animals and have tons of experience in animal care!!! I’m a full time student but all my classes are online or hybrids except for my labs. I have an organic chemistry lab on Tuesdays from 6-10pm but often get out early and live with my sister who can help out during that longer stretch of time. About: I grew up LOVING dogs and cats and honestly all sorts of animals . I dont have any official training in veterinary practices, but I do feel I do know quite a bit of taking care of animals and making them feel safe and loved . I have two beagles I helped my father raise after we got them from a rescue and they are the best part of my life. I always try to be with the animal (because as much is i love em sometimes they can get into trouble if not watched) I always make sure I know if foods are safe for animals first off no matter what if I dont know. Even if its treats honestly I still like to read for a second or two. Always make sure areas are safe too, make sure things are picked up so nothing can be grabbed by a doggo, and also if im letting them out to go potty I always keep track of where they are especially at night because things happen to fences all the time and dogs are smart.
About: I have always been surrounded by and lived with pets, especially dogs. I grew up with 3 dogs. Animals always love me! I am currently working part-time and I am available for boarding on weekdays from 2 pm- 8am. I will walk your pup anytime during the weekdays and some weekends as well!! I have a yard outside my house. It is not fenced, so I will have to keep them on the leash, unless otherwise noted. I also live with a GoldenDoodle, if your dog loves the company. I’m not currently working so I’ll have plenty of time to watch over your dog. My schedule is usually pretty open, so I’m usually available. “My dog was a special case, a large Rottweiler female that had never been away from me. Cassandra was very patient, not to mention brave, but there was only so much she could do with her. She did the right thing. A lot of people would throw up their hands and say, "Never again," but she seems open to the possibility of future attempts. She's tentatively agreed to shorter stays to get Poppy used to being away from me. It is important to trust your dog-sitter to be kind and patient with your dog and I trust Cassandra. She sent me a number of texts during the two days to keep me informed of what was happening. I rate her communications very high and the overall experience very high also. Her dog accommodations are very good: a small, heated room for the dog and a fenced area for exercise. The fence is sturdy with no places for a dog to go through or under.”
