When we arrived to pick up our dogs, it was as though they were part of Jamie's family. Not sure if they wanted to come back home with us! They went for early morning walks and were fed and treated approrpriately. We left our dogs with Jamie during very high temperatures (100+), yet the dogs were very well cared for. Jamie's house was nice and cool for our older dogs and the tile floors were perfect. We felt very at ease leaving our 3 dogs with Jamie and her family.”

About: My family has had Samoyeds all of my life and it turned me into a major dog-lover! I plan to get my own husky as soon as I graduate college, but in the mean time, I try to interact with dogs as much as possible. I now have a 7-year-old rescue who is my little baby. When sitting, I like to go on walks, runs, or play in large grassy areas to stay active. I am extremely responsible, never leaving pets alone and making sure that they are well-hydrated, fed, and entertained. I am comfortable and excited about dogs of all types, ages, and sizes. I am a prior helicopter pilot for the Army and now spend my time with my two mini aussies hiking and enjoying the outdoors while obtaining a masters. I did provide him with insulin and the proper care that he needs.(My diabetic dog does not live with me anymore as now I live in my own home) I love animals and I am very patient and love to learn about all their personalities and needs.
About: I’m a huge dog lover and have been around dogs my entire life, dogs of all different sizes and breeds. I’ve experienced caring for special needs dogs as well as senior dogs! When your fur baby comes to my house they will be treated like one of our own. We have a pup of our own, a German shepherd husky mix named Chloe, she’s almost 8. She loves keeping other pup friends company when they stay in our home. We live in an area with endless trails and would love to take your pup on walks or adventures with us if you are comfortable with that. I recently lost my beloved 12 year old German Shepherd just before Christmas of 2025. I currently work at home full time, other than every now and then when needing to run my kids to school or activities. Your pup and I can keep each other company and I would love their companionship to fill the void I am missing in my daily routine! I can provide all day care to your pup and provide potty breaks when needed. We have a fenced back yard with a locked gate. I also have a indoor kennel if your pup needs to be in a kennel to go to bed or if we need to leave the house. I can provide any care that your dog is in need of when staying in my home!
About: I’ve had extensive experience working with and taking care of dogs. I grew up with 3 dogs and have been around and taken care of them my whole life. 3 years ago when I adopted my dog Luna, an anxious rescue, is when I really dove into research on the best practices for ways to train, take care of, and advocate for dogs— and now consider it one of my greatest passions. I also spent a year on and off volunteering at Coconino animal shelter in Flagstaff, AZ getting experience providing all kinds of care to all kinds of dogs! I am in an online grad program for mental health counseling, with a part-time internship— so I am home a lot and am flexible! I have a fenced yard and 1 friendly husky mix that looooves to play. Big area of grass, with lots of toys, bones and a large backyard that provides plenty of stimulation. I have a large doggy door for easy access outside. I have a large cozy crate in my garage if needed! Your dog can expect to get, at minimum, one 20-30 minute walk a day, with hikes or runs as a possibility.
