“Darlene did a wonderful job with my little ones. They were happy and healthy. A perfect place to leave your fur babies as you go hiking in the heat!”

“Liz was great! She sent me photos regularly and updated me on how Callie was doing. I would definitely use Liz again and highly recommend her for anyone looking for a pet sitter. She responded immediately to any questions I had leading up to the stay and was accommodating with drop off and pickup times. I had no hesitations leaving my pup and will definitely use her again if she is available.”

“Samantha did a wonderful job dropping in several times while I was away for a very long day. She visited the times we agreed and did a few small unexpected things like thawed out some frozen nuggets and cleaned food containers to make my morning much smoother. I highly recommend that you consider Samantha when you need help.”

“Danica was terrific! Very trustworthy and reliable - we had her pick up our pup Kennedy for a walk while we were out at Zion. From the pictures, I could tell Kennedy had a great time on her walk. Would recommend Danica to anybody in the Kanab area looking for a reliable person to care for your pet while you go on not-so-dog-friendly adventures!”

“Darlene was a great dog sitter during our stay in Kanab. We left Buddy with her for his first visit and she took wonderful care of him. At the last minute, we decided we needed another day of care and she was most willing to accommodate us. When Buddy saw Darlene the second time, he bounded out to her and began kissing her and jumped into his travel crate ready to go with her again. That’s the best testimonial a pet can give.”

“My husband & I needed doggy daycare for Tula so we could do a hike at Zion & Liz provided the perfect solution! She met us outside with her sweet pup so they could immediately get acquainted & become friends. She sent texts & photos throughout the day assuring us that Tula was having the best time! I would use her again.”

“Bo is an excellent dog walker and sitter...we were here visiting and he came to our Airbnb for a meet n greet the night before and I instantly knew he was the right person that I could rely on and his ease with the dogs is awesome. I highly recommend Bo he walked our boy twice and took lot's of pics. If I'm back in town he's definitely our guy to call.”

About: I began volunteering at a local humane society during my senior year of college, igniting a passion for helping animals in need. While job hunting after graduation, I started offering pet sitting services through Rover.com and volunteering at the Aiken ASPCA learning the basics of animal behavior and training. In January 2018, I began my internship, which transitioned into an apprenticeship, at Jungle Friends Primate Sanctuary which is where I developed a strong foundation in animal husbandry and enrichment. To supplement my income, I continued pet sitting in my off time. Once my time with the primates came to an end, I got a job working as a caregiver for Best Friends Animal Society in Atlanta. This is where I learned advanced animal behavior, handling, and training. Once again I earned extra money through pet sitting. I also regularly volunteered as a husbandry aide for Zoo Atlanta’s contact yard learning all about goats and sheep. I transferred to Best Friends Animal Society’s Dogtown during the height of the pandemic, and I began building a client base for pet sitting in Kanab. After parting ways with Best Friends in 2021, I remained in Kanab, continuing to provide pet sitting services while working at a local gas station. I joined Lumber Plus in 2022, honing my customer service skills and deepening my connection with the local community. I established myself as one of Kanab’s trusted pet sitters, known for my reliability and love for animals. In July 2024, I took a significant step forward by founding SabiSara Pets, a venture that combines my passion for animal care with my entrepreneurial spirit. I work part time at a local hardware store wed-sat so have less availability on those days. They are flexible with allowing me to take longer lunches when needed. I have high standards for animal care and what I consider “bare minimum”. My job is to make sure your animals have access to clean fresh water, have access to food according to their schedule, and are in a safe, secure, and sanitary environment because I take it seriously that I am responsible for their mental and physical well-being.

“Extremely happy! Since we never met communication was key and she was responsive.”
