About: While I don’t currently have a cat of my own, I grew up always having a cat or two (sometimes more 😆) in my household. I absolutely adore cats and have worked with local groups in the past to help trap and spay/ neuter wild colonies. I have experience with cats that have extensive medical problems and bottle feeding newborns. I will love your cat as much as you do and make sure I provide them with adequate enrichment! Whether that means leashed walks, playing with toys, puzzles etc. I’m also totally fine lounging around for a lazy cat that prefers to be left alone.

About: I spent a year volunteering multiple days a week at the Humane Society in El Paso, TX, with puppies and older dogs, while I was stationed nearby. I have rescued and trained dogs of my own for most of my life. I have assisted in training a Service Dog. I have a lot of free time to fill during the week and weekends. I am looking to add some extra income to cover bills. I am working part time. I am only working part time with a lot of availability to accommodate your various needs. About: My experience comes from taking care of my own dog and caring for my family members dogs. I have experience with high energy and active dogs, dogs with anxiety, and administering medications. I love hanging out with dogs, whether that be playing at the park, practicing tricks or training, or just chilling at home. My schedule is fairly easy going, I have some school and activity drop-offs and pickups throughout the day, but the majority of my day is spent at home. Your pet can ride in the car with me or stay in my fenced yard. Otherwise I have plenty of time to play, offer potty breaks, or go on walks. I treat animals in my home like a member of the family. I allow them on couches, or provide a bed for them to chill on. I will spend the day showering them with love and attention. Because I hang out with them all day any issues that arise will be noticed and addressed immediately.

About: My earliest memories are of playing with dogs. As an adult I love my kitties and will care for any furry, scaley or feathered friends. Every day I care for my dog and 4 cats. The trip to the nearby park is a routine where I find refuge. I have flexibility with my work schedule and can make most times fit. I have a fenced yard where pets can roam free without fear of antagonism or being set loose in the neighborhood. I give each memeber of the clan daily attention and individual care.
“This was our first time using Rover as this app as our first puppy in many years. We found ourselves in a little bit of a bind as our new puppy wasn’t allowed at a local recreation spot. We live several hours away and couldn’t return our new puppy to our house. So we looked up who might be able to dog sit out new puppy. Almost out of options we stumbled upon Rover. About: I have lived with animals my entire life. Growing up I had a wide variety of animals. I have had experience caring for large and small dogs alike, senior dogs and cats. I have experience administering medication to many of these animals as well. I recently moved from the Midwest where I was a volunteer search and rescue member- closely working with the search dog teams and assisting as a handler as needed. About: I have grown up with a dog my whole life. When I was very young we had a Yorkie named Rex. And for the last 11 years we have had an energetic yellow lab named penny. We trained her ourselves and now she is very well behaved. I love dogs and am great with them. I love to play them just as much as they do! I currently work part time most days of the week but have a fairly free schedule since my shifts aren’t that long. I go to sleep late and wake up early so my days are open! I live in a house with a fenced yard big enough for a dog to play fetch in. My roommates love animals too so all pets will be welcomed. About: I've owned animals throughout my life. Currently, I have a lasb/mastiff mix, 3 cats, 4 lizards and a trantula that I share my home with. I'll care for your pet to the best of my abilities and they will always be loved, safe, and protected In my day to day life, my fiance and I share duties in the indie bookshop and creative space that we own. In the mornings, I get ready and take our dog outside. I always pick up the poop and dispose of it - it's a requirement in our townhome community. I then go in and feed the dog and give her any medications and supplements she may be on. Usually, I leave the house and my fiance takes care of her letting her out and taking a walk during the day. We do have a fenced dog park one block over that we frequently visit to let the pup run around off-leash for a bit and play with any other dogs that may be there and/or throw the ball. In the evening, we always go for a nightly walk before bed. Then our dog has a comfy bed at the foot of our bed and some stairs so she can get on the bed and lay with us. Your dog will get the same experience and care as our sweet girl, along with a playmate so boredom won't be an option. All dogs will be on leash outside of the home and waste will be disposed of properly. There's a fenced dog park near by that will allow your dog to run around off leash with our dog, who is very friendly and patient - an older spayed large dog, gentle as can be. Your dog will get the same care and protection as ours including no access to the cat box or open food they can grab, lots of love and attention, access to clean water always, and extra emphasize on anything you tell me your dog needs. I take our pets health very seriously.

About: I have more than eleven years of experience caring for animals, beginning with my own rabbits when I was eight. Through 4-H I excelled in studying animal health in-depth and gained practical experience working with rabbits, ducks, and other livestock. About: We have a large half-acre yard and your pets will have the opportunity to play with our dogs or can be kept separately! We are also happy to send you pics or facilitate Facetime with you and your pet if it helps ease that homesickness from your furry friend. We love having extra furry friends. “Really felt comfortable leaving our old boy Bentley, with Marissa. I was a bit concerned at first because Marissa has a dog and three cats of her own. As an older dog, Bentley prefers to sleep and pretty much, just be left alone, but the animals got along just fine. I could instantly tell at our introduction meeting that Marissa is an animal lover with a very kind heart. While we were away, Marissa took pictures of the dogs interacting and taking walks ... apparently, many walks ... and sending them to me regularly. Upon return, when I picked Bentley up, Marissa said "I thought you said that Bentley was kind of lay-back and just wanted to sleep. But, he was the first one up waiting to go outside to play and explore". I really appreciate the great job Marissa did with Bentley during our nine-day trip. From the all the videos and photos we received, we were instantly put at ease seeing how much fun Peach was having. Peach has been really timid with other dogs in the past but warmed up to Barbara’s Knox quickly! What a great new dog friend! We’re looking forward to boarding with Barbara again soon.
