“It's always hard to leave your pups when you go on vacation. I met with Ally previous to our trip and felt very comfortable with her. During our trip she texted me and sent pics which always helps to alleviate the stress of missing them and knowing they are safe. When I picked up the dogs they were happy but not "overly happy". (some may get this) To me this means they got all the love and attention they needed so when they came home they weren't needy and deprived of lovies. They were very happy to see us and go home but were well taken care in our absence. I take this as a VERY good thing. I would use her to board my dogs any time. She was fantastic.”

We have a great setup for dogs of all types, and we would love to watch your dog(s)! We acknowledge we may not be right for everyone. Please read all the details in our profile to determine if our home is right for you. We work from home - pet care is baked into our daily/weekly routine. A TYPICAL DAY: 7:00-8:30 a.m. interactive playtime (fetch, tug-of-war, etc. ) 8:30-9:00 a.m. morning feeding and rest 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. open playtime - we work while the dogs play. They come in an out freely while we supervise from our workstation. We group dogs as needed. They are out of the kennel interacting with dogs and people most of the day. In order for your dog to have a great experience, they need to play well with other dogs and be comfortable spending time in a kennel. SAFETY & TRUST: We have been trained in behavior recognition to ensure the safety and enjoyment of our guests. When we have multiple guests, we group dogs as needed (by age, size, "fixed" or not, temperament, and/or energy level) to optimize the experience for each guest. We feed them in a kennel to ensure food isn't shared and give them quiet time after meals to ensure they have adequate time to digest before playing again. We expect our guests to be up to date with their vaccinations. When a new dog arrives give them time to explore on their own, then we gradually introduce them to other dogs to assess temperament and compatibility. That is the reason we prefer to limit the pickup and dropoff windows so we can devote that critical time. Please see availability for more info on times. ENVIRONMENT: We have a dedicated space both indoors and outdoors for the dogs. Inside we have an air-conditioned apartment dedicated to the dogs. They have a couch, area rug, background music, and their own 4x4, 4x6, or 5x5 kennel. We reserve a corner for a workstation where we work during the day. Outside we have a fenced area for the dogs with turf and toys. We setup a canopy for extra shade on hot sunny days since we don't have natural shade from trees yet. We wet the turf down on hot days to ensure it's comfortable for the dogs as well.

I currently work and attend school remotely with a flexible schedule to take care and play with your pups or cats. I’m available both weekdays and weekends. About: I grew up with a spunky black lab who lived to be 16 years old. Now I get to live with my sibling and my dog-niece who I also hope lives a long, healthy, happy life! We've been housemates for a few years now. Gently combing her curly hair is my favorite. I have an adaptable flow where I can give a pet activity if they are young and need it, or take it easy if they are older. I work with a flexible schedule from my laptop between Salt Lake County and Utah County, so I can adapt to your needs too! I like to first ask what schedule or routine your pet is used to and see how closely I can match that and their temperament. I'm used to an easeful morning, getting sun during lunch, and then some other kind of outing later in the evening even if it's just a walk. I like to try to make it to a team meeting Thursdays and Fridays in Salt Lake. I can time it so I'm not gone for long, or I can reschedule meetings depending on the circumstances, commute, animal temperament, etc. I'm happy to come to your place or host your pet at mine. I'm in a condo so I'll limit my boarding services to one pet at a time. If it's possible for me to come to you and get acquainted with your pet before overnight stays, I'd prefer that for more easeful transitions. If you come to my place, my apartment complex has green spaces and waste bag dispensaries distributed throughout the property where I walk my dog-niece in the evening. But during the day the dog is away with my sibling and I'm all alone. So your pet will have my attention. I'll ensure pets have their own separate, undisturbed sleeping space. If I come to your space, then of course your pet will be most familiar and cozy.

“It's always hard to leave your pups when you go on vacation. I met with Ally previous to our trip and felt very comfortable with her. During our trip she texted me and sent pics which always helps to alleviate the stress of missing them and knowing they are safe. When I picked up the dogs they were happy but not "overly happy". (some may get this) To me this means they got all the love and attention they needed so when they came home they weren't needy and deprived of lovies. They were very happy to see us and go home but were well taken care in our absence. I take this as a VERY good thing. I would use her to board my dogs any time. She was fantastic.”
