About: My earliest memories are of playing with dogs. As an adult I love my kitties and will care for any furry, scaley or feathered friends. Every day I care for my dog and 4 cats. The trip to the nearby park is a routine where I find refuge. I have flexibility with my work schedule and can make most times fit. “This was our first time using Rover as this app as our first puppy in many years. We found ourselves in a little bit of a bind as our new puppy wasn’t allowed at a local recreation spot. We live several hours away and couldn’t return our new puppy to our house. So we looked up who might be able to dog sit out new puppy. Almost out of options we stumbled upon Rover. About: We have a large half-acre yard and your pets will have the opportunity to play with our dogs or can be kept separately! We are also happy to send you pics or facilitate Facetime with you and your pet if it helps ease that homesickness from your furry friend. We love having extra furry friends. They will be kept safe and maybe spoiled. The longest your pet would be home without potty breaks is 2 hours. “Really felt comfortable leaving our old boy Bentley, with Marissa. I was a bit concerned at first because Marissa has a dog and three cats of her own. As an older dog, Bentley prefers to sleep and pretty much, just be left alone, but the animals got along just fine. I could instantly tell at our introduction meeting that Marissa is an animal lover with a very kind heart. While we were away, Marissa took pictures of the dogs interacting and taking walks ... apparently, many walks ... and sending them to me regularly. Upon return, when I picked Bentley up, Marissa said "I thought you said that Bentley was kind of lay-back and just wanted to sleep. But, he was the first one up waiting to go outside to play and explore". I really appreciate the great job Marissa did with Bentley during our nine-day trip. I had such peace of mind that our dog was being loved and cared for. I would VERY MUCH like to use Marissa's boarding services again, next time we travel.”
About: I’ve had my rescued dog for 8 years and a rescued cat for 3 years. I love animals and treat my fur babies like family with all my love and company. I currently work from home, so I have lots of flexibilities to accommodate your fur family. I'm usually home with my pets except a few hours at a time to run errands. I have a medium sized dog and a cat at home. They are friendly to new friends. The backyard is unfenced, my dog enjoys running and sniffing around. We live in a very walkable neighborhood, and loving taking the pups out to walk around. Kris works from hone, so your pet will never be left alone! We are available for boarding as well, and just need advance notice for scheduling. We have a spacious townhouse and are both animal lovers. We currently have one amazing Labradane in the house who loves to play with other pets (if you allow it; otherwise he is very well crate trained and can remain separated).
