About: Hey I’m Jen! I love all animals and I know how important it is to find someone who cares when you need help! I have had animals my whole life and grew up in the country with horses, goats, dogs, cats, rabbits and ducks! I previously worked as a veterinary technician and have been running this business since 2021. I currently have 6 fur children, 2 horses and 4 working dogs. Helping animals is a passion of mine. About: I have had dogs my entire life. My first time volunteering was in 2010 where I started at the Homer Animal Shelter in Alaska. I volunteered for four years and had to stop to care for all of the rescues I had taken in to my home. May then husband continued volunteering to ensure we fulfilled our duties. I have rescued seniors and helped birth puppies of a foster dog. I have done IV infusions on a dog for kidney failure. The safety of our dogs is of the utmost importance to me. Molly continues to be available for house stays, drop-ins, and dog walking in both MN and Utah. Please read on! Utah information: House sitting limited to 6 nights per booking and will be Molly only (Garret will be home with our dog). Molly will work fully remote from your house. Note that during ski season we will be spending time on the mountain, but your pet will always be a priority. When Garret also comes to MN, he will either be taking that time off from work or working remote from your home. Note: rates are non-negotiable for first time customers. I have many years experience working at veterinary practices so I am comfortable giving medications as directed. Past experience supervising doggy day care/play groups. I also have experience working with positive dog trainers who helped me care for my high energy rescue dog. About: I love all sorts of pets and, worked with elder, small dogs, and puppies also helped deliver a few; used to be my uncles helper on his ranch. I do hike a lot on trails, I like to stay active by walking around town or just adventuring new places. I’m also good with kittens, horses, most animals used to do volunteer work with shelters and also worked at petco which I dealt with all sorts of sizes of furry little babies. I’m currently working part time with U of U and, have a flexible schedule. I also have a ton of free time as of right now and wouldn’t mind caring for your puppers. I do have my own crate I can bring but, I do tend to let pets be out in there homes I don’t really like locking them up unless they have issues on eating up furniture which I wouldn’t want that to happen. I do and will bring my own treats most treats I would bring would be from Trader Joe’s or open farm due to there ingredients being able to be tracked from the source. I do carry a bag full of doggie poop bags, a first aid spray and a pet corrector just in case of other dogs if we’re walking in a public area I do not like walking or taking pets to doggie parks just mainly because I don’t know how other pets would react to others.
About: For as long as I can remember I've loved animals and have been genuinely interested in learning about them. I grew up having lots of pets and have a wide range of care and management experience with various species including: dogs, cats, birds, rodents, some reptiles, fish, horses, and other livestock. In 2010, when I first moved to Vegas, after many years of riding and horse keeping- I became a full time horse trainer and ranch manager in Northwest LV. During my early 20's I also apprenticed with several horse and dog trainers, getting my start in a few different horse and dog sports. I continued riding and training, volunteering countless hours with L.E.A.N (las vegas equine rescue network) and Paradise Ranch horse assisted therapy, as well as a few other local smaller programs for horses, dogs, and even cats. During those years I periodically helped teach various dog sports and obedience classes, as well as taking my own continuing education classes separately. I recently moved back here from a few years living abroad so I am looking to expand my client base again! This my 16th year of professional animal training and management. I'm an experienced behavioral consultant for dogs and horses. I use gentle, effective, ethical handling methods backed by modern research that do not involve the use of applied punishment as a teaching tool. I feel very strongly about compassionate care, training and daily management and am at a high level of hours in both animal science education and practial experience. Most animals I've handled appreciate my very gentle approach and clear understanding of their signals, and I have never met one I didn't genuinely like. She also made sure to invite us over before our scheduled sit to see her house and make sure all the animals got a long. “Laura was a lifesaver when my original rover cancelled the day before holiday travel. She kept my dog safe and happy all week long and sent updates along the way. My dog is notorious for counter surfing and stealing food but she managed these quirks just fine. My dog is also on multiple medications and Laura kept up with those no problem. About: I’ve grown up with dogs around since I was a very little girl, I’ve experienced having small dogs, Medium-sized, and Large Dogs. My Mom bred Maltese so I got to constantly play with many adorable puppies and help bathe them too. My husband, has had about 8 years of experience with animals. He helped me with raising 10 puppies, a litter from our own dog Tyndale. Our whole family absolutely loves dogs! We’d love to meet and play with your puppy too! I am currently working from home, taking care of my family and pets, so I have plenty of time to take care of and play with your puppy. I have a fenced yard and a friendly dog named Tyndale, she loves to play and would be happy to help keep your Doggie company.
