She also sent adorable pictures and kept me updated throughout the day, which I really appreciated. It was obvious that she was patient, attentive, and genuinely cared about Toby. When I picked Toby up, Dona gave me a detailed summary of his day and even shared some of the little quirks she had noticed about him and how she adjusted to them. It was clear that she took the time to really get to know Toby and cared for him as if he were her own. We recently lost our other golden dood whom we raised since he was a puppy, and now my current boy (and I) could use some company. We live in a home with a fenced grassy yard and a doggie door. We keep our house very tidy and puppy proofed so they can't get into stuff when they're feeling curious. We also have an unused large crate that your pup is welcome to use if that's what they use at home. I'm nearly always home, and always keep a close eye on them.

About: I have 2 active Australian shepherds that I care for. They go to the park twice a day! Both are very hyper so I always make sure to give them multiple walks as well as park time. I feed my dogs on a set schedule around 5-6pm with one large meal as well as a lighter meal in the morning. My dogs are always up to date with checkups and shots! I don’t play favorites and will divvy up play time equally. I owned multiple cats growing up as a kid as well as a Jack Russell Terrier during high school. I also have experience caring for exotic pets, such as rabbits/bunnies and have owned 2 previously. I work from home full time so I am able to care for multiple pets. I have a flexible schedule that allows me to walk my dogs multiple times per day and usually 2 long walks at the dog park. I wake up around 6am to walk them then work between 9-5pm. In between those hours I take my dogs out for a walk or two as well as entertain them on my breaks. We have plenty of dog toys available for them to entertain themselves. I allow my dogs to free roam the house because they’ve earned that privilege but crate time every now and then is also utilized. I also run a lot with my dogs, so if your dog enjoys runs I am happy to do that as well. I keep my dogs upstairs with me while I work or sometimes leave them downstairs where they nap on the couch and relax. I like to give my dogs dedicated decompression time in their crates after play time oans dinner. My neighbors also own a dog and are very responsible owners. Secure and safe neighborhood in my neighborhood. My place is spacious enough for multiple dogs to roam and play and I keep all doors locked.

About: My whole life I've grown up with many dogs and I absolutely adore them!! I love walking them, playing with them, taking them out for car rides, etc. For a little over three years now I've been dogsitting and catsitting for my dad's friends. I've cared for cats previously, but I didn't have my very first cat until very recently, and I adore them as well! I'm more than willing to scoop litter, pick up after they potty, walk pets, and have a designated play time with them (: Now that I'm back in school, I won't be as available to be with dogs during the day time. Monday through thursday, I have classes for about 4 hours at a time. I am still more than able to stay overnight with the doggies, as well as walk them in the afternoon or morning. At night, I usually work for about 5/6 hours, and am flexible enough to check on pets after work as well. Since cats don't require to be let outside, I'll be much more flexible with catsitting than dogsitting, but am still willing to do both! I usually work at my job 3-4 nights a week. In client's homes I make sure to spend a good amount of time with pets because I know they're missing their owners. I give them treats, pet them, cuddle with them, and walk them. Before I leave for anywhere I make sure that they have food, water, and they've used the potty, that way clients can be assured there will be no accidents in the home, and their pet is being properly cared for. Some cats prefer to spend time alone, and if that's the case, of course I have no problem leaving them be. As a pet owner myself, I can tell when sometimes the pets don't want to play and just wanna nap, or when they want to be left alone. Additionally, I make sure to take care of their house and clean up after myself! Beforehand, I'd love to meet with the client that way I can get to know everyone, and build some trust between me, the client, and the pet (:
