If I do need to step out, it's typically for a short period of time, usually no more than an hour or two. Your dog’s safety, comfort, and happiness are always my priority. My family are all dog people, so pups are always surrounded by people who genuinely love and enjoy them. We have a fenced patio/run where dogs can safely enjoy outdoor time, stretch their legs, and take easy potty breaks throughout the day. I also have a secure lead setup in the front yard where dogs who enjoy the outdoors can safely relax, sunbathe on the outdoor bed, sniff around, and enjoy some fresh air while supervised. We’re also surrounded by some of Daybreak’s best dog-friendly parks, walking trails, and green space, including areas near the lake, which means lots of safe, leashed walks, fresh air, sniffing, and enrichment. For everyone’s comfort and safety, I require a meet & greet for all new clients to make sure we are a great fit before booking.

Some things to note: -I have a 2-year-old (human) toddler, thus your dog must be good with kids. -On weekdays I don't work from home, but my husband does. He is equally caring toward all dogs. I will do all the overnight and weekend pup loving. -I have an 8-year-old medium-sized, medium-energy female blue healer mix who will mostly keep to herself. She is not kennel trained, but we do have a large-size crate for your pup if needed. We are (usually) available any day and any hour. On weekdays, I don't work from home, but my husband does. He is equally caring toward all dogs. I will do all the overnight and weekend pup loving. I have a fully fenced back yard with a medium sized doggie door. I live within minutes of multiple parks. About: I’ve been pet sitting for all types of animals since I was 7 years old. I’ve pet sat dogs, cats, puppies, and kittens. My partner and I currently foster dogs as well. We’ve fostered puppies and senior dogs so we are both very well equipped to nurture any type of pup you have. We have given medication to our fosters and can accommodate your dog in any way you need us to. I’m currently a nanny. I drop the kids off at 8:40 AM to school and come home to spend the day with the dogs until I need to pick the kids up from school at 3:40. I am usually off work at 5:30 (no later) but by then my partner William is home with the dogs. At most, your pup will be along for two hours in the morning. We treat every animal like they are our own child. We will make sure to care for your pet in any specific way you need. All pets are allowed on our furniture, along with sleeping in bed with us. We are a very loving home who understands how vulnerable it is to leave you baby with someone else. We will make sure to send photos, video, and updates on your pet. I am self-employed from home, so it is very easy for me to plan my day around your fur baby’s needs. I can be very flexible. Whether in my home or yours, the safety of your fur baby comes first. My home has a fully fenced yard. I will not accept more than one dog at any time to stay in my home. When visiting your home, your home and property will be treated with the upmost respect.

I'm currently working part-time, so I'll have plenty of time to work with your pups! I only work a few hours on the weekends and will always wake up earlier and stay up later if the dog is used to that schedule. I still live with my family, so there is always someone in the house, so the dog isn't alone. When I dogsit, I can walk the dog multiple times a day and fit it into my schedule if I work that weekend. If the dog likes car rides, I take them with me to run some errands so they can get out of the house. I have a large unfenced yard, so I will monitor your dog when they are out there. There are four of us in my house, and we have no kids. I have a gate to my upstairs level since it's carpet, but my first floor is spacious, so your dog can walk around and lie wherever. I don't have pets of my own, and I only take care of 1 dog at a time. We have a few plants in the living room area, but are willing to move them outside if your dog is prone to playing with them. I have a couch cover, so dogs are free to lie on the couch if they are used to that. I also make sure to walk dogs away from other dogs in case they are prone to aggression when seeing other dogs, and for their safety.

I’ve taken classes on pet CPR, have experience with nervous dogs, and know the proper way to accommodate them. I have never met a dog I did not like. I work remotely so I am able to give your dog as much attention as they need whether they need to just sit by me, go outside frequently, or want to take a moment to play. I currently work full time, but I work fully remote out of my home office and can give dogs as much attention as they need. I know how important your pets are to you because I have pets and I love them deeply. I have a fenced yard and my own cute giant schnauzer. I have the space to keep pets separate if they are nervous or allow them to play if they are friendly. I can keep your fur baby in my office with me all day, crate them, play with them, and feed them (separately from any other dogs on the premises as though my work at a dog daycare and I am very aware that dogs can be protective about their food.)

I'm very protective of any animal under my care, so I mostly keep them indoors with me until it's time to potty, go on a walk or play in the yard for a bit; in those instances, I keep a close eye, as well as make sure I'm cognizant of the time they've been outdoors/current weather. I am very careful to adhere to any/all instructions given, and if allowed to give treats freely, I only buy the best for my guests.
