About: Talley’s House has two adults that work from home, two teenage dog loving sons, and two pups, Talley (12+) and Oz (2) that love to meet and play with new friends! We have a great setup for dogs of all types, and we would love to watch your dog(s)! We acknowledge we may not be right for everyone. Please read all the details in our profile to determine if our home is right for you. We work from home - pet care is baked into our daily/weekly routine. A TYPICAL DAY: 7:00-8:30 a.m. interactive playtime (fetch, tug-of-war, etc. ) 8:30-9:00 a.m. morning feeding and rest 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. open playtime - we work while the dogs play. They come in an out freely while we supervise from our workstation. We group dogs as needed. They are out of the kennel interacting with dogs and people most of the day. In order for your dog to have a great experience, they need to play well with other dogs and be comfortable spending time in a kennel. SAFETY & TRUST: We have been trained in behavior recognition to ensure the safety and enjoyment of our guests. When we have multiple guests, we group dogs as needed (by age, size, "fixed" or not, temperament, and/or energy level) to optimize the experience for each guest. We feed them in a kennel to ensure food isn't shared and give them quiet time after meals to ensure they have adequate time to digest before playing again. We expect our guests to be up to date with their vaccinations. When a new dog arrives give them time to explore on their own, then we gradually introduce them to other dogs to assess temperament and compatibility. That is the reason we prefer to limit the pickup and dropoff windows so we can devote that critical time. Please see availability for more info on times. ENVIRONMENT: We have a dedicated space both indoors and outdoors for the dogs. Inside we have an air-conditioned apartment dedicated to the dogs. They have a couch, area rug, background music, and their own 4x4, 4x6, or 5x5 kennel. We reserve a corner for a workstation where we work during the day. Outside we have a fenced area for the dogs with turf and toys. We setup a canopy for extra shade on hot sunny days since we don't have natural shade from trees yet. We wet the turf down on hot days to ensure it's comfortable for the dogs as well.

We have a loving home with a very large enclosed backyard. Your dog would not just be in their kennel but in our home as part of our family. I only watch one dog at a time unless it's from the same family because it's not about the money as much as ensuring your dog gets all of our complete attention and love. Your dog will usually get a minimum of one walk a day... (usually on the Spanish Fork River Trail when weather permits) We will go out of our way to accommodate special requests when needed. I have taken all the dogs I have own to training and love being with them. I own 2 dogs now. 1 is named Koda and she is a full golden retriever and the other is Lucy, she is a Golden retriever/ Lab mix. They are indoor lovable dogs. I believe that dogs are apart of the family, so in my house they are allowed to be on the furniture to cuddled with! I am a stay at home mom and have 2 dogs. About: I have a 2 year old cowboy corgi named Bubba that I’m obsessed with. He loves having other dogs over to play with! We promise to take good care of your pup! I work from home doing customer service Monday-Friday full time. So if you need your pup to be boarded it just watched for the day, I can do it! Bubba would also love it. I have a little side yard that is enclosed, so there is a place for them to play outside and go to the bathroom. I let my dog go out often. I keep my apartment clean with lots of dog toys and treats!

I love animals and have tons of experience in animal care!!! I’m a full time student but all my classes are online or hybrids except for my labs. I have an organic chemistry lab on Tuesdays from 6-10pm but often get out early and live with my sister who can help out during that longer stretch of time. I have a fenced yard and I live within walking distance of multiple parks, one that is also fenced in. I am flexible and can adapt to whatever you and your pets specific needs might be!
