A lot of people get a bit confused regarding the actual service we are to provide because rover does not do a very good job defining each service. House sitting is essentially OVER NIGHT sitting, a sitter comes and stays over night to watch over your pup/pups/pet and leaves in the morning. I usually take an over night sitting as an 8hr shift, so if I come at 10PM, I leave at 6-7AM. Unfortunately, house sitting is not a service where the sitter stays at your home over night and comes to check on your pet several times a day, those would be “drop-in visits” and you would need to book those :). I understand it could get expensive, so In cases where the client lives really close to me, I am willing to work with you, just contact me :). I usually take care of pets the same way I do with my family dog. With kindness patience and attentiveness. Snacks as well, unless instructed other wise.

About: I’m an emergency veterinary technician, grew up in a farm surrounded by animals and learned at a very young age that they are my passion. Have worked with all sorts of animals throughout the years so i have a very broad knowledge for caring for your pets. Friends and family have always come to me to care, sit, walk, and tend to all their pet care needs. Although working at a veterinary clinic, I’m still available full-time for your pet care needs! I stayed at a place where there were no dogs allowed on the property so I tried a sitter at South Padre Island. That sitter called me late and told me she couldn't handle Presley. Luckily I was able to find such an experienced, dog loving sitter in Alicia. I spoke to her and let her know my situation and she offered to meet me more than halfway so I wouldn't miss too much time away from my weekend getaway with my family. She sent me pictures the next day of Presley playing fetch and I felt comfortable knowing my pup was enjoying his weekend as much as I was. About: I have experience with dogs and cats new born to senior. I have taking care of animals for over 5 years and enjoy every second of it! I am able to care for those with special needs and promise to take care of every pet with care and respect! (And make sure they have a lot of fun!!) I currently work very part time only on weekends in the evening. I am not in school so I have an open availability! I also wake up early and enjoy going on walks! I will always be around them and make sure they have a fun time with me while we are together. As well as constantly making sure they have plenty of water and food, as well as keeping multiple stations for using the restroom. For cats I have multiple litter boxes, I have puppy pads for little dogs and a big fenced backyard for bigger ones!
