I was in a strange situation, where I was moving across the country with my dog and two cats, but had to stop along the way in the Houston area, and leave my pets so I could fly out for a couple days to a job interview before getting back on the road. I needed someone to do check-in visits with the cats (one of them is very old and has feeding requirements) and to board my dog who is a little bit nervous when I'm gone. I was a nervous wreck about the whole situation. But Lesly came through for me. I took my dog Sombrita over to meet her a couple days before I left; and then Lesly also came over to meet my cats before the trip. Sombrita was really scared and timid when I left. But Lesly and her family were gentle and sweet with her, and she warmed up quickly, and had fun while she was there. Lesly sent me pictures and videos of everyone each day to put me at ease, and was always very responsive. I'm really grateful for her care.”

About: I’ve taken care of fur babies since I was 10. Friends and family dogs and cats in all sizes. I’m very patient when it comes to teaching them new tricks, giving them bath, giving them any sort of medications, and being very attentive with them. I am capable of giving them baths, cutting their nails, brushing their teeth! Also lots of potty breaks and plenty of exercise! ! ! ! I have a big backyard for your pups to get their zoomies out. I also enjoy taking them to dog parks or a light walk around the neighborhood to burn some of that energy off.
About: I've lived with cats all my life along with a few other animals. I regularly house- and pet-sit for family and friends with no complaints so far. My longest sit as of 4/2026 was two weeks where I really got to bond with the cat and dog I took care of. I enjoy being able to sit for the same families again and again to be that friend who their animals appreciate spending time with. My schedule is entirely flexible, so I'm open to any care situation you may require. We have four indoor cats of our own and a slew of community cats who I and my family feed twice daily. My home will not be available to clients for pet care as I have four cats who I could not guarantee would take well to visiting animals. Their comfort in their home is a priority for me, but I am happy to care for your pets in and around your home. About: Hi there! I’ve been around animals my entire life — I grew up in a home with multiple dogs, cats, goats, and more. My love for animals naturally led me to volunteer at shelters and sanctuaries, and before long, friends were regularly asking me to pet sit. That’s what inspired me to offer my services on Rover.
