“Shaylonn & Richard were the best! We didn't worry about our puppy Bonnie the entire 8 days we were gone. They sent pictures, and treated her like she was their own. They are a very nice couple and I can't say enough nice things about them. I forgot my little Bonnie's sweater for the cold weather and Shaylonn found her a sweater that would work for her. Also, I asked them to not let her jump on and off furniture, so she made her some steps to get up and down off furniture. It was our 1st time leaving her, and we were completely at peace leaving our Bonnie with them.”

About: I’m Tawnee, 27 years old, I live in Sour Lake, Texas. I grew up loving many of my own dogs. I currently work full time from home, spend my free time fishing, crafting, or hanging out with my family. I love to run so taking your furry friend to stretch their legs would be more fun to me than it would a chore. There is no dog too big or small for my preference. “Sherry did an outstanding job of taking care of our daughter's dog Abby over the long holiday weekend. Our daughter decided to join us just a few days before the trip and we were worried because our usual sitter was already booked. We were very grateful that Sherry was available and accepted our assignment with short notice. As soon as Sherry got there and was greeted at the door, it was apparent that Abby had maneuvered around the "barricade" my husband had created to keep her in a small area of our home. In doing this, she was cut off from her food and water. Sherry immediately called to alert us and the rest of the weekend went off without a hitch. About: I live 5 minutes past the Lumberton park. I have 5 secluded acres to walk the dogs which includes a 500 yard driveway far away from the main road. I have taken a dog cpr and safety class. I have 3 dogs of my own that are my babies! I am a stay at home mom therefore I can take care of your dog full time and give them plenty of attention. My schedule is very open and flexible. I have a fenced play area for the dogs. I have 2 crates inside of my house to separate dogs if needed. My house is 500 yards away from the main road.

My dog was extremely nervous about being left in an unfamiliar place, with an unfamiliar human and dog. About: I have over 25 years experience as a bull breed breeder and dog shower. My family bred and showed Chows and Sharpei thru the 80's and 90's, and we bred and raised American Bulldogs until 2017. About: ‼️ Beginning January 1st, 2023 I will no longer be providing services through Rover‼️I will still be providing services, I will just be freelance, Rover keeps 20% of money earned and I understand their reasons but that's often a large chunk of money even though I've never needed the extra services these funds cover, however I'm just not comfortable raising my prices. I worked as a kennel technician in a veterinary clinic for 1 year before taking time away from work to be with my daughter. I have cared for pets inside my home since I was a child and have two dogs and three cats of my own. I have cared for pets as small as 3 lb all the way into the 200s and hold no breed biases. I'm currently a part-time online student at Lone Star college so my availability is wide open I will try my best to stick to your pets current schedule as much as possible to make their time away from you as easy on them as it can be. During my time at the clinic I became very familiar with harnessing, leashing, and collaring rambunctious dogs as well as coaxing reluctant animals into their kennels I use a fear free approach (lots of treats and toys!) and do not condone dragging pulling or pushing pets unless it is the safest course of action in an emergency situation. I am also experienced in giving medications and monitoring pets for signs of distress or illness.

About: Whenever I was in highschool I spent the whole school year at the vets office for a class. I have always loved all animals, and made sure that they were always safe and well cared for. I have also rescued a few reptiles, I have some of my own. Rover is my summer job, most of the time I’m at home, so I’m available a lot. My cats are free-feed babies, their litter boxes are changed daily and dumped weekly. My dogs are kennel fed out of pure safety, as well as walked on leashes until their recall is adequate.
