About: Hi, My name is Zaneta, I am a 3rd year veterinary student, and I have the biggest heart for animals. I’ve been dog sitting for family friends for about 3 years now, mainly during the summer months or other school holidays. They were mainly drop-ins but a couple were live-ins. I’ve always had a special connection with animals all of my life and I’ve had so many owners tell me that they are so surprised as to how quickly their pet has warmed up to me. I understand that your pet is like your child and I promise to take amazing care of them. I have learned how to do CPR on a dog and also how to notice and prevent signs of heat stroke. About: My family has always been a rescue dog family! Every dog I have ever owned has been a foster fail or a shelter rescue. Some of our pups have had traumatic pasts, and I love watching the light come back to their eyes as they realize why a loving home feels like! I think dogs truly are our bestfriends and they deserve to be treated like it. I am currently in the last phases of flight training, so I spend weekdays studying or flying but have plenty of time to walk dogs around it! Sometimes I go to the airport super early and get out early and sometimes it’s more of an evening shift for me. Right now I typically have weekends off so I’m very flexible there! I can do whatever you need me to do with the pups! I’ve taken care of big, small, young, old, hyper, lethargic, potty trained and otherwise. I have walking equipment, reputable walking routes, a big truck if they like car rides, treats and anything else necessary to make a dog happy!

I also have experience administering nightly oral medication to my sisters Rottweilers and understand the importance of following a consistent routine and paying close attention to a pet’s needs. I do not allow cats outside, so they will always be kept safely indoors. For dogs, we have a securely fenced yard for supervised play and exercise, along with plenty of attention, walks, and cuddle time. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow their usual schedule, including feeding, walks, playtime, and any special instructions to help their pet feel relaxed and at home.
About: I’ve taken care of pets since I was a little kid: starting at about 10 years old I pet set for my neighbors. I have watched, fed, and walked dogs of varying sizes and ages and have also fed and managed some cats. In my college town I have helped the Humane Society on occasion by taking a dog at a time to walk them and let them roam around and enjoy time outside the kennel. I am an animal lover and know how important it is for them to be cared for and loved! I’m currently working part time only 2 days a week as I am home for the summer so will have plenty of time to care for and play with your pets! I have a fenced in yard and a small dog who is super friendly and well loved. He is a grazer so doesn’t have designated food times but my previous dogs were fed twice a day. He gets morning walks every morning and sometimes extra ones in the evening.

About: EXPERIENCE Professional experience in the dog boarding industry as well as 39 years of constant com*paw*nionship. I've only been 2 years of my entire life without a dog. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF MY DOGS My dogs live inside with me! They sleep at the foot of my bed on my bed (until I've had enough and nudge them off) and are employeed full time as my indoor shadow. It's a necessary expense!!! PERSONAL HISTORY/INSIGHT I'm a die-hard loyal companion to my pups bc they are to me first! Never surrendered a single one of my pets no matter the alternative road I faced! Moved and couldnt keep my dog? Didnt move. Approved on home under terms: No Dog, my reply, "my dog and me or deal breaker". I commit whole heartedly and for LIFE! How many people can say that and it be truth? I was the little girl who got untrusting strays to follow her home which I did by singing song from the little mermaid and Andrew Lloyd webber songs. <--yes...u read that right. They have always trusted me and warmed up to me extremely easily. WISDOM/RESILIENCE Growing up...a neighborhood dog almost ended my life and guess what....I learned a lot on what NOT to do and kept the bond strong. What happened to me didn't phase me. CONCLUSION I've always preferred the company of animals over people for many reasons. But don't judge me .... HIRE me. The friendship, respect, consideration and connection I can't help is of the absolute highest caliber. Period. I work from home and am extremely active. I'm an outdoorsy rebel who loves to explore the areas off the path. Hiking is how I stay going and sane. Dogs usually go with me. I care for them by being present and constantly engaged. I notice when they are laying on the floor and don't have something soft. I know the things to look for before a fight breaks out and I also know exactly how to get them to stop that does not risk either of the dogs or myself. *INSIDE THE HOME IS ANOTHER INDIVIDUAL WITH YEARS OF EXPERIENCE DOING JUST THIS...HIS PET IS ACTUALLY IN THE PHOTOS. AND HE CAN PROVIDE REFERENCES UPON REQUEST!
