About: I have 4 dogs of my own and one cat. I have cared for pets as long as I can remember. My dogs are all house trained and crate trained they also are well mannered and like other pets. I can house train and also train dogs to do certain tricks. I'm 27 years old and own my own home with a large fenced in back yard. My house has no carpet so accidental pet messes can be cleaned easily. I have my own transportation to house sit or dog walk any time I am needed. Thank you for considering me for taking care of your pets I currently work full time split shifts so I can take care of animals between shifts before shifts and after shifts. I have reliable transportation to and from also I have a large fenced in back yard and I currently work in the animal field so I am trained on medication management and also have vet tech experience.

About: I volunteer on my off time at my local dog rescue. I also have fostered many dogs in the past year for Caddo shelter and Parish Paws. I grew up around dogs and own two of my own who are always willing to play with other dogs. If there’s ever a concern of aggressive I separate the dogs when let out for potty breaks or in the house. I am taking off work for the next two months so my schedule is open minus a couple dates here and there. You can expect me home majority of my days. My pets are always fed and given water through the day and let o it frequently. They enjoy playing fetch or running in the yard and going on car rides or walks.

About: Animals have always been a part of my life. I’ve rescued many and cared for cats and dogs for years, treating each one like family with love and safety. For everyone’s well-being, please make sure if your pet isn’t spayed or neutered, just let me know so I can plan one-on-one time for their comfort. To help them feel at home, please bring their usual food and a favorite toy for their stay. I’m fully available and happy to accommodate your schedule. Preferred drop-off and pick-up times are 8 AM, noon, or 5 PM, but I’m flexible if you need a different time. The only thing you need to bring is your dog’s food for the duration of their stay. If you’d like, you’re also welcome to bring their toy to help them feel more comfortable and at home. I have a dog-designed living room where pets sleep in kennels for comfort and routine. I also have a TV where I play soft, calming music to help them stay relaxed. I have a large backyard where dogs are taken out to play 3–4 times a day. During these breaks, they go potty and enjoy supervised play. If dogs get along and are a good match, they may play with other dogs one-on-one. For safety reasons, all dogs are taken outside using a secure tether at all times. This helps prevent escapes and ensures close supervision.
About: I know that you have many options for care. I have been working through Rover since early 2020 and would like to share some information about myself. I made the decision to take an early retirement after twenty-two years at Northwestern State University when my husband and I relocated to Shreveport and both of our children went off to college. During this time, I worked with 150+ rescued dogs at the site and through the foster program. I found so much pleasure and enjoyment working as a rescue volunteer and wanted to expand my love and care of these most precious of animals. As a volunteer, I cleaned kennels, administered medications, walked and played with dogs, worked with basic training techniques and leash walking, and evaluated and monitored dog behaviors and personalities for proper socialization and integration with other dogs including aggressive and high anxiety dogs. I treat all animals as if they are my own. I love all fur babies big, small, young, and old. I am available at any time and since I am retired, I am able to provide drop-in services, walks, and overnight care (for socialized and house trained dogs who are current on all shots and flea/tick preventives), including medication administration and care for aggressive and high-anxiety dogs. I have no problems with cleaning up accidents and will ensure that your home stays clean of messes. I am also a firm believer in sending pictures while you are away so you can be comforted that your dog (or cat) is receiving nothing but the upmost care and love while you are away. No requested service is to great or small! I would welcome the opportunity to help you with care needs for your fur babies! Since I am retired, I am available at any time for drop-ins, walks, and overnight boarding (socialized and house trained only). I am also able to work around flexible and changing schedules. If it’s a drop in just to check, or you need me to watch them for a week while you go on vacation. I can help! I have a fenced yard now and your pup will have a friend. His name is a Teddy, he’s a miniature schnauzer and he loves to play! My daughter also loves all the animals that comes to visit, so expect your pet to be a little spoiled to her when you return! When pet sitting, I of course check to make sure they have necessities like food, water, & treats (if allowed). I, myself, have pets and worry about them feeling lonely or missing me. I make it a point to treat anyone’s pets like my own. Which is why I always make sure to give lots of love and sit and spend time with any pets I get to visit with!
About: I can train puppies as early as 6 weeks old. This includes house training as well. For elder dogs it may take longer to train, but it is still possible. I also provide basic daily care such as feeding, walking, bathing, and grooming. I have nothing to do! I would rather watch your pet all day. About: I’ve been around and taken care of plenty of dogs since I was little. I certainly have the basic skills to feed, walk, and care for dogs. Ontop of that, I can give medication orally or though shots if needed while you’re away. I have had plenty of experience dealing with dogs and all that comes along with having one. I love animals and enjoy taking care of them and all that comes along with that! I have to clean up after my own dogs and make sure their basic needs are met everyday. This is a task I am responsible of to make sure they are kept happy and healthy! I take the dogs outside to the bathroom or to play as well as giving them water daily. Our yard is fenced in and the animals can not get out. Our dogs know better than to get into things but at time stuff does happen so I make sure nothing is being messed up or chewed into etc. I would do the same for your home just as if it were mine.
About: I work with Chimpanzees at Chimp Haven! I also have two amazing cats named Bellion and Kid! In addition I also have a bearded dragon named Thor. I have had animals since I was 3 and I have been caring for animals since then. I have experience walk training dogs and I have plenty of regular training experience as well. I use to volunteer with multiple dog and cat no kill shelters where I would walk, play, and groom with both dogs and cats. I would also go to events and communicate with potential adopters for these dogs, as I did these events I would be walk training the dogs so that when they get adopted they would know! I do work a full time job from 7am-4pm every day. My evenings are completely free and I currently have Saturdays and Sundays off from work so I am free all day on those days to help train or walk pets! Since my evenings are free I can check up or even stay the night to take care of your babies! My cats and lizard are very spoiled in our home. They get fed twice a day and plenty of love and play time. I absolutely adore animals and I want to make sure your pets are taken care of while you're at work or vacation!
About: I have experience with dogs and cats my entire life. Have always been a huge animal lover. I have a 1 1/2 year old cat that keeps me on my toes and my roommate has a 6 year old blue pit (the son of my late Pit) and she also has a 1 year old miniature dachshund. About: I have 4 dogs of my own and one cat. I have cared for pets as long as I can remember. My dogs are all house trained and crate trained they also are well mannered and like other pets. I can house train and also train dogs to do certain tricks. I'm 27 years old and own my own home with a large fenced in back yard. My house has no carpet so accidental pet messes can be cleaned easily. I have my own transportation to house sit or dog walk any time I am needed. About: I volunteer on my off time at my local dog rescue. I also have fostered many dogs in the past year for Caddo shelter and Parish Paws. I grew up around dogs and own two of my own who are always willing to play with other dogs. If there’s ever a concern of aggressive I separate the dogs when let out for potty breaks or in the house. I am taking off work for the next two months so my schedule is open minus a couple dates here and there. You can expect me home majority of my days. My pets are always fed and given water through the day and let o it frequently. They enjoy playing fetch or running in the yard and going on car rides or walks.

About: Pet sitting is awesome because I want to spend time with as many wonderful pets as I can. I'll treat them just as well as I would like my pets to be treated since I know how important they are. Prior to Good Dog, I would pet sit for family, friends and neighbors. They deserve the best care even the little rambunctious ones. I have been working and volunteering in pet care for years. Interacting with any animal makes me happy but bunnies will always have a special place in my heart. Regardless of whether they have fur or scales I treat my pets, and other’s pets as family members who need just as much love and emotional care as they do physically. Thank you for this opportunity
About: Almost every firefighter has a part time job, so I chose this as mine because I love animals and I couldn’t think of any better way to relieve stress from work than to love on dogs all day! I have a pretty large fenced in backyard, although the house and furniture is open to your pups as well. I have two dogs of my own that love playing with new friends, but if your dog is shy of others I have a dog room in my house for my own dogs and another room for new friends to hang out as well. I also live close to the Brownlee Park, so if you would like your pup to go on a walk or run I would be more than happy to take them out!
