“Shaylonn & Richard were the best! We didn't worry about our puppy Bonnie the entire 8 days we were gone. They sent pictures, and treated her like she was their own. They are a very nice couple and I can't say enough nice things about them. I forgot my little Bonnie's sweater for the cold weather and Shaylonn found her a sweater that would work for her. Also, I asked them to not let her jump on and off furniture, so she made her some steps to get up and down off furniture. It was our 1st time leaving her, and we were completely at peace leaving our Bonnie with them.”

About: I’ve had friends of family rely on me to drop by and make sure their pets are fed, watered, and let out for potty breaks. I do work full time but I work one week on and one week off. So I’m able to do a few jobs a day. I’m only available on the weeks that I don’t work I am able to walk your dog or drop in and help feed and water and take your dog out for potty breaks and play with them for a little bit.

About: I have had cats and dogs all my life. I love taking care of animals, so much I know how to bottle feed baby kittens. I have had a range of dog sizes to care for in my life ranging from chihuahuas to siberian huskies. I love all animals and love taking care of them. I am currently a full time student until December, and I have a pretty much open schedule with only one in person class. I can visit your furbabies any day from 7am-5pm! My cats are free-feed babies, their litter boxes are changed daily and dumped weekly. My dogs are kennel fed out of pure safety, as well as walked on leashes until their recall is adequate. I will not be leash-less with a dog unless stated otherwise by owner.

About: In my younger years my first pet was a bunny and a cat. I am now a loving pawrent of 2 dachshunds named Nitro and Winnie and a recently adopted chihuahua named Larue. I completely understand the stress of leaving your furbaby for the day because as much as we want we cannot take them everywhere. Count on me to drop in and visit, play, feed them so that they know they are loved and taken care of.

Even though Rover notifies you when your sitter has arrived, Melanie sends her own personal message informing you she’s on-site. She also sends pictures/videos of your pets along with verbal updates. She likes to do a meet and greet before your actually booking which is nice. This is when you give her your notes/request/suggestions and overall routine of your pets. She immediately won over my pets and embraced their chaos - She is also armed and loaded with bite sized treats. Melanie is trustworthy and truly loves animals. About: Hello! My experience comes from being the proud owner of an energetic and loving water dog named Capri. We loved hiking and spending time at the dog park. That gave me experience interacting with most all breeds and temperaments. Then of course there have been numerous family and friends dogs which I had the pleasure of watching full-time. There was even one over 100 pounds, simply cuddly and lazy! Owning a dog has given me opportunities I would have otherwise not had. The people we've met over the years have been amazing. Anything you need, I'm your girl. Just let me know. I can follow any instructions you have for me. If you have a fenced in backyard, I can keep an eye on them. If they need exercise, I can take them for a walk. If they are a senior dog and get tired on the walk, I will sit with them until they're ready to go home. Anything they need, I can take care of it.

About: I’ve had many dogs throughout my childhood and I just love how they are. I have had experiences with many dogs throughout my life. They’re so cute I love them all. I currently don’t have a job right now but I am looking for one. I start my day early so I have free time! I only have one dog now. Her name is Luna, she’s been my baby since she was literally a baby. She knows when to go outside to use the restroom, as well as some tricks I taught her, she also loves when I pet her…sometimes when she wants me too lol, still love her.

About: ‼️ Beginning January 1st, 2023 I will no longer be providing services through Rover‼️I will still be providing services, I will just be freelance, Rover keeps 20% of money earned and I understand their reasons but that's often a large chunk of money even though I've never needed the extra services these funds cover, however I'm just not comfortable raising my prices. I worked as a kennel technician in a veterinary clinic for 1 year before taking time away from work to be with my daughter. I have cared for pets inside my home since I was a child and have two dogs and three cats of my own. I have cared for pets as small as 3 lb all the way into the 200s and hold no breed biases. I'm currently a part-time online student at Lone Star college so my availability is wide open I will try my best to stick to your pets current schedule as much as possible to make their time away from you as easy on them as it can be. During my time at the clinic I became very familiar with harnessing, leashing, and collaring rambunctious dogs as well as coaxing reluctant animals into their kennels I use a fear free approach (lots of treats and toys!) and do not condone dragging pulling or pushing pets unless it is the safest course of action in an emergency situation. I am also experienced in giving medications and monitoring pets for signs of distress or illness.

About: I’ve always had animals of all kinds growing up and I love caring for & playing with them. My friends and family as well have always used me to be the animal sitter for any possible animals you could thinks of , from cats & dogs to even my grandmothers goat.. I love to walk and play with the dogs and I love to hear the purr of kittys.. animals really warm my heart!!
