Before my current dog, Brinkley, I raised two Miniature Dachshunds from the time they were 6 weeks old until they passed away at ages 16 and 17. About: I have worked in the pet industry for over 20 years. I owned a grooming and boarding facility for 14 years and after having children have transitioned to home-based grooming and boarding. I currently groom from my home and plan to homeschool my children. I am rarely not home except to run errands or classes/outings for my children. I have a fenced yard and multiple safety measures in place. Dogs are crated when not roaming in the house or yard. I have one medium sized spayed/female who is 3 years old and very socialized.

So, to let me know that Sophie was okay, she gave me daily check-ins by letting me know that she had ate the food she had put out and was drinking water, when she filled the gravity fed waterer, and if there was anything strange. It was a great comfort, since I was on a long trip out of state, and it was the first time Sophie had been alone. This was much less stressful on Sophie too. Cared for my dog and cat since they were babies, and have cared for my sisters 12 year old dog many times. I work from home unless I’m traveling, which I know my travel schedule far in advance. I currently work from home so any dogs that have separation anxiety or do not like to be left alone are welcome. I have adequate time to spend with my pets as well as yours.
