About: We have had pets for as long as I can remember. Caring for animals brings me so much peace and joy, I am definitely the type of girl to pick up any dog or cat from the side of the road and take care of it!! I was obsessed with “The Dog Whisperer” at an early age and fully planned to become a dog trainer at 18 (seriously!). In HS, I acquired over 500+ hours at my local animal shelter. I’ve owned and trained 4 dogs in the last 10 years! I have the most experience with herding breeds (shelties, border collies, aussies, etc), but I have been around all kinds of dogs, big or small. I also have a VERY high energy BC myself, so I understand the kind of work it takes to make sure they’ve worked off their excess energy. My other is a smaller rescue dog I adopted in 2017 who originally tested positive for heartworm disease but now he has been heatworm free for about two years!
