My husband met Tisha when he took our Sadie and I met Tisha when I went to pick her up. Both of us were very pleased with the hospitality shown and the kindred love of animals that Tisha and her husband sincerely projected. We so enjoyed receiving photos of Sadie while we were away. “Lesley gave 5 star treatment to my 7 month old puppy, Skipper for an in-home stay. At first I wasn’t sure about leaving little Skipper with all her big dogs, but she suggested an initial meet and greet and it was apparent that Skipper would become part of the “gang.” Lesley even got Skipper to eat regular dog food! When It's my time to be responsible for your babies, they are always on my mind and they are my first priority when I'm off work. I'm a Substitute Teacher for the Ingleside ISD. My free time is spent with family and art. Usual days are cleaning, cooking, running errands, and picking my children up from school. Unfortunately I no longer have pets in my home due to personal reasons. They were well loved and at liberty. I am generally gone for less then an hour or two but occasionally time away can be up to 4 hrs. I prefer pets that are crate trained for they find crates safe and comfy opposed to punishment. I just like to have this noted to be fair and honest. I absolutely need a meet with the larger dogs to be sure we are a good fit. I am always available for the tiny-medium dogs 🐕 🙂

About: I have been in love with animals since I was a baby. I grew up in a dog loving household. I have always had pets as long as I can remember. Dogs, cats, turtles, mice, fish, hermit crabs. My goal is to one day have a goat and a pig as well. I worked in a pet store that wolf puppies for 3 years and my primary job there was to take care of the puppies and to teach the perspective new families to potty train their new babies and what to expect for their specific breeds. I have also helped my parents train all of their dogs and sit for them when on vacation. It’s a full house but I love it. I currently work but have time in the afternoons and weekends to walk or check on your fur babies and let them go outside and play or just stretch their legs out of the kennel, whatever the needs may be. I have a large fenced in yard with plenty of room to run and play and a very friendly playful golden doodle that loves new friends. He gets along with all sizes and ages of dogs. My families dogs range from 3 lb yorkie to 90 lb golden doodle and a few in between. My baby is in his bedroom (kennel) when we are not home, one of my parents dogs does not require a kennel when we are not there so I do not require it as long as they are potty trained and do not chew.

I have had dogs from Great Danes, labs, bird dogs, Chihuahuas, Australian shepherds, border collies, healers, and Belgian malinois. all kinds of temperament and levels of care. We live in a mobile home and I have a huge pasture behind me to let them run or if you are not comfortable with me having them off the leash, if it’s too early for trust, I have a walking tail right across the road for my clients who need doggy day care. I have a 5 year old Australian shepherd. He’s is also very friendly and loves other dogs.

I have no problem checking in with you in any way frequently through texts, calls, or emails (whatever method you prefer) to make sure you and your critter(s) are comfortable! I enjoy spending extra time with any animal and providing peace of mind. I can make sure your pet(s) is fed/watered, and even bathed if needed. I have no problem cleaning up after them as well. I would be available to take your pets to dog parks if you would like and would love to give them the attention they need. I have owned reptiles and other small pets so I’m prepared for most pets and enjoy taking care of them all. As a long-time pet owner I know just how important it is to have peace of mind and reassurance when you are away from your pet(s). I work part-time so i will more often be available in the evenings. Saturdays I will be available at any time. Willing to negotiate times/days as well. Currently I have an open schedule with flexible and negotiable availability. I owned my own animal care service business in Austin for about 4 years taking care of dogs and cats from north all the way down to south Austin. I currently work full-time as a dental assistant, and I am preparing to transition into dental hygiene school soon.
