“Saphire was GREAT! I forgot about booking my normal kennel for winter break, and ended up looking to Rover to find a place for my dog, Callie. I was a little worried about leaving Callie at another person's house; while she is housetrained, she has shredded all the dog beds I've gotten her in the past, and still gets into trash. She can also be aggressive with protecting her food, and become very defensive when around certain dogs. After reading a positive review of a similar dog, I contacted Saphire and she assured me that my dog was in good hands. Throughout the trip, I got picture updates from Saphire as well as a DVD of all the pictures and videos from Callie's stay there. Callie had a BLAST playing with Saphire's own dogs as well as the other dogs being boarded and fostered, with lots of outdoor playtime, and she was completely worn out when I picked her up. Saphire even managed to get a bath in before I picked Callie up, even though she hates baths! I would highly recommend Saphire, and definitely plan to contact her again next time I'm traveling!”

About: I have both large and small animal Vet Tech experience working for multiple veterinarians. I have worked at Texas Equine with horses in Brenham, TX as well as multiple small animal vets and shelters. I currently work from home so I am always available to spend time with and care for any animals including my own. I have a huge backyard that I love spending time in over the weekends with my animals. Plenty of room to run around. I feel spending time with animals and using positive reinforcement when training is Beneficial. Building trust is also a huge factor in animal behavior, so more time with them will give them a better understanding of how we behave and what actions we would like them to take.

About: I have had cats and dogs all my life. I love taking care of animals, so much I know how to bottle feed baby kittens. I have had a range of dog sizes to care for in my life ranging from chihuahuas to siberian huskies. I love all animals and love taking care of them. I am currently a full time student until December, and I have a pretty much open schedule with only one in person class. I can visit your furbabies any day from 7am-5pm! My cats are free-feed babies, their litter boxes are changed daily and dumped weekly. My dogs are kennel fed out of pure safety, as well as walked on leashes until their recall is adequate. I will not be leash-less with a dog unless stated otherwise by owner.

About: I used to work as a Vet Tech for 3 years. Up until a few years ago I have always had an indoor dog and/or cat. When our fur baby Milly (Pit/ Staffy) passed and we found we enjoy entertaining a variety of breeds. Since then we have got another pit baby Ollie. About: Hello! My experience comes from being the proud owner of an energetic and loving water dog named Capri. We loved hiking and spending time at the dog park. That gave me experience interacting with most all breeds and temperaments. Then of course there have been numerous family and friends dogs which I had the pleasure of watching full-time. There was even one over 100 pounds, simply cuddly and lazy! Owning a dog has given me opportunities I would have otherwise not had. The people we've met over the years have been amazing. About: I live 5 minutes past the Lumberton park. I have 5 secluded acres to walk the dogs which includes a 500 yard driveway far away from the main road. I have taken a dog cpr and safety class. I have 3 dogs of my own that are my babies! I am a stay at home mom therefore I can take care of your dog full time and give them plenty of attention. My schedule is very open and flexible. About: I grew up on a farm that had all kinds of animals especially dogs. It was my responsibility to make sure the puppies had baths and plenty of food or fresh water. I am currently unemployed so I stay at home to take care of my own pets. My dogs are leash trained so I can walk your dogs whenever needed I have two fur babies to keep your babies company. About: ‼️ Beginning January 1st, 2023 I will no longer be providing services through Rover‼️I will still be providing services, I will just be freelance, Rover keeps 20% of money earned and I understand their reasons but that's often a large chunk of money even though I've never needed the extra services these funds cover, however I'm just not comfortable raising my prices. I worked as a kennel technician in a veterinary clinic for 1 year before taking time away from work to be with my daughter. I have cared for pets inside my home since I was a child and have two dogs and three cats of my own. I have cared for pets as small as 3 lb all the way into the 200s and hold no breed biases. I'm currently a part-time online student at Lone Star college so my availability is wide open I will try my best to stick to your pets current schedule as much as possible to make their time away from you as easy on them as it can be. During my time at the clinic I became very familiar with harnessing, leashing, and collaring rambunctious dogs as well as coaxing reluctant animals into their kennels I use a fear free approach (lots of treats and toys!) and do not condone dragging pulling or pushing pets unless it is the safest course of action in an emergency situation. I am also experienced in giving medications and monitoring pets for signs of distress or illness.

About: I have had cats and dogs all my life. I love taking care of animals, so much I know how to bottle feed baby kittens. I have had a range of dog sizes to care for in my life ranging from chihuahuas to siberian huskies. I love all animals and love taking care of them. I am currently a full time student until December, and I have a pretty much open schedule with only one in person class. I can visit your furbabies any day from 7am-5pm! My cats are free-feed babies, their litter boxes are changed daily and dumped weekly. My dogs are kennel fed out of pure safety, as well as walked on leashes until their recall is adequate. I will not be leash-less with a dog unless stated otherwise by owner.

“Saphire was GREAT! I forgot about booking my normal kennel for winter break, and ended up looking to Rover to find a place for my dog, Callie. I was a little worried about leaving Callie at another person's house; while she is housetrained, she has shredded all the dog beds I've gotten her in the past, and still gets into trash. She can also be aggressive with protecting her food, and become very defensive when around certain dogs. After reading a positive review of a similar dog, I contacted Saphire and she assured me that my dog was in good hands. Throughout the trip, I got picture updates from Saphire as well as a DVD of all the pictures and videos from Callie's stay there. Callie had a BLAST playing with Saphire's own dogs as well as the other dogs being boarded and fostered, with lots of outdoor playtime, and she was completely worn out when I picked her up. Saphire even managed to get a bath in before I picked Callie up, even though she hates baths! I would highly recommend Saphire, and definitely plan to contact her again next time I'm traveling!”
