“Saphire was super great for us!! It was our first time using Rover so we weren't sure what to expect but in the end it was so helpful! We left our pup Lee-Lou with her over the weekend while we went to New Orleans and Lee-Lou was well taken care of and had a lot of fun with her other dogs. Saphire was extremely responsive with texts and also sent us cute pictures of Lee-Lou having fun. She made us feel very comfortable the moment we dropped our dog off with her. About: I grew up in a home that always had dogs and cats. As I got older, we began fostering dogs and venturing into owning more exotic animals such as hedgehogs, tortoises, mini pigs, pygmy goats, and saltwater fish. Growing up we had a dog that had seizures. Since being an adult and living on my own since 2014, I have owned a French bulldog, two toy yorkies, saltwater fish, a Persian cat (who had a seizure condition), and two standard poodles. I absolutely adore any and all animal and love learning about new species and breeds. I briefly worked for a vet's office as a vet tech in 2015 and a doggy daycare (Planet Canine) from 2012-01/2014. Since 2015 I have dog sat periodically for family and friends. I enjoy taking my poodles on long walks in our neighborhood. I have experience with administering medications for my previously ill and senior dogs such as ear drops, oral tablets and liquid, and eye drops. I am reliable, detail oriented, and a lover of all beings big and small. I am a self-proclaimed helicopter dog-mom. I start my day by caring for my dogs before I get ready for the day. Either me or my husband comes home in the middle of the day and lets them free roam and play for a little while. My 9-5 is flexible which means I can normally leave during the day at any point if and I am typically available after 5 pm most weekdays. I like to be home by 9 pm at the latest. Weekends I am normally available 9am-9pm. Fridays are normally the most flexible day for me. I have a privacy fence, and both of our gates are locked on the inside. I closely watch my dogs when they are outside. I have ample spaces to allow for crates, big and small. When I care for pets in someone else's home, I will stay outside with them while they potty and stay near them when they eat. I typically will not leave pets alone with toys unless the parents specifically ask this of me.

“Sherry did an outstanding job of taking care of our daughter's dog Abby over the long holiday weekend. Our daughter decided to join us just a few days before the trip and we were worried because our usual sitter was already booked. We were very grateful that Sherry was available and accepted our assignment with short notice. As soon as Sherry got there and was greeted at the door, it was apparent that Abby had maneuvered around the "barricade" my husband had created to keep her in a small area of our home. In doing this, she was cut off from her food and water. Sherry immediately called to alert us and the rest of the weekend went off without a hitch. Sherry was very prompt and consistent on keeping with Abby's schedule 3x a day and kept us updated with pictures as well. About: Being a versatile person and lifelong pet mom, I've experienced animals in all stages of life from bottle feeding kittens to teaching old dogs new tricks. It is possible. I currently have two senior cats, both since they were kittens. In 15 years they've had unique situations and varried interests that we as a family have adapted to such as traveling, fostering, and aging. Currently I am carrying for a senior dog that has weather anxiety and likes pillow forts in bad weather. Also with me is a 2 year old foster who loves the park and snuggles but is not good around some small dogs. I was able however to acclimate the large dogs to living peacefully with my two cats. It was a precarious situation at first. Both dogs love car rides as well as one of my cats. He might think he's a dog. I do my own pet bathing and grooming (trimming nails...polish, brushing, ECT.) I have also raised puppies and have worked with and house trained both cats and dogs. While walking the dogs we work on their social skills when encountering other people and animals. I have a flexible schedule, however, with a part time job I will need advanced notice to coordinate my schedule to meet the needs your pet. Short term and long term assignments accepted. I'm looking forward to meeting your pet! I would prefer to care for your pet in its home. My animals are still working on socializing. In time this may change however we currently can't have guests.

I have had a range of dog sizes to care for in my life ranging from chihuahuas to siberian huskies. I love all animals and love taking care of them. I am currently a full time student until December, and I have a pretty much open schedule with only one in person class. I can visit your furbabies any day from 7am-5pm! My cats are free-feed babies, their litter boxes are changed daily and dumped weekly. My dogs are kennel fed out of pure safety, as well as walked on leashes until their recall is adequate. About: I have always had dogs and had a several dogs growing up. I currently have two dogs that I love one of which has heartworms. So I have experience caring for dogs who need medicine and extra care. One of my dogs is also senior so I understand the requirements that come with caring for older dogs. I do travel around the area a lot for my job and sometimes work late so I may not always be nearby or able to walk dogs very frequently through the weekday. I will be as attentive as possible when watching dogs in your home. I will also be respectful to your space and follow whatever rules I am given.
About: Grew up on a farm and had/have dogs my entire life. I also within the last 2 years have volunteered with working dog training facilities and horses at an equine therapy program. It has been great learning how to train and approach dogs, make them feel at ease along with challenging their brains. I have an extremely flexible work schedule which allows for lots of time with your furry family member(s). Fetch, walks, brushing, treats and feeding are all part of the daily activities. I have one amazing dog of my own he is 7 years old and neutered. He enjoys playing with other dogs. Safety for the dog and peace of mind for the traveling owner is always number 1. About: My mom has relied on me to feed, care, walk, and bathe our dogs growing up. My grandma has also relied on me to Watch overheard puppies as she left for vacation vacations. I have been doing this for 10+ years. I am currently working part time, I am available every weekday until 4 PM when I would go to work. While at work, I have three family members that can care for your pets while I am gone. I have a fenced in backyard with plenty of room for them to play. I am more than happy to kennel, my friendly golden retriever and orange kitten whenever.
About: I have over 25 years experience as a bull breed breeder and dog shower. My family bred and showed Chows and Sharpei thru the 80's and 90's, and we bred and raised American Bulldogs until 2017. About: Being a versatile person and lifelong pet mom, I've experienced animals in all stages of life from bottle feeding kittens to teaching old dogs new tricks. It is possible. I currently have two senior cats, both since they were kittens. In 15 years they've had unique situations and varried interests that we as a family have adapted to such as traveling, fostering, and aging. Currently I am carrying for a senior dog that has weather anxiety and likes pillow forts in bad weather. Also with me is a 2 year old foster who loves the park and snuggles but is not good around some small dogs. I was able however to acclimate the large dogs to living peacefully with my two cats. It was a precarious situation at first. Both dogs love car rides as well as one of my cats. He might think he's a dog. I do my own pet bathing and grooming (trimming nails...polish, brushing, ECT.) I have also raised puppies and have worked with and house trained both cats and dogs. While walking the dogs we work on their social skills when encountering other people and animals. I have a flexible schedule, however, with a part time job I will need advanced notice to coordinate my schedule to meet the needs your pet. Short term and long term assignments accepted. I'm looking forward to meeting your pet! I would prefer to care for your pet in its home. My animals are still working on socializing. In time this may change however we currently can't have guests.

About: I have had cats and dogs all my life. I love taking care of animals, so much I know how to bottle feed baby kittens. I have had a range of dog sizes to care for in my life ranging from chihuahuas to siberian huskies. I love all animals and love taking care of them. I am currently a full time student until December, and I have a pretty much open schedule with only one in person class. I can visit your furbabies any day from 7am-5pm! My cats are free-feed babies, their litter boxes are changed daily and dumped weekly. My dogs are kennel fed out of pure safety, as well as walked on leashes until their recall is adequate. I will not be leash-less with a dog unless stated otherwise by owner.

About: Whenever I was in highschool I spent the whole school year at the vets office for a class. I have always loved all animals, and made sure that they were always safe and well cared for. I have also rescued a few reptiles, I have some of my own. Rover is my summer job, most of the time I’m at home, so I’m available a lot.
