About: I have always loved cats, and had always been around them in some capacity growing up; Had outside cats, inside cats, befriended neighborhood cats and fed strays. I knew at a very young age that cats were just different and you needed to earn their trust and respect at their pace. I started working professionally with cats at my first veterinary job back in 2008, and it made me love them so much more. My first cat I adopted as an adult was a 16 year old tabby named Lincoln who was about to be euthanized for being bullied by the other 9 young cats at home. I said "absolutely not!" About: Over the past 5 years we had cats come to our home, found them on roads, and found them around my old high school. We have 8 kitties, 1 outside , 7 inside. I have cleaned 6 of the 8 cats myself when we rescued them, I am currently in college so I was not around when we rescued the 2 newest kitties. I took 5 of them to the vet and administered flea and worm medicine to them. Some of them also had eye/ear problems and I would take care of them by giving them eye/ear drops with no problem (I gave them treats so they would feel better!)

The dogs have free roam of the house. There is always food and water down. Treats given daily. I also have a doggy door. I have a fenced in yard but they will only go out to potty then come in and have free roam of my house. I free feed so there is always food and water down in 2 different heights. About: When I was younger we had 3 dogs, they were my best girls! Over the years we had rescued 8 cats, one of our cats may have some autism but she is so gentle and just needed some love. The trick is to let them come to you so they see you as a safe space! I currently work part-time but I am not working as much this summer, I may have a few softball lessons since I play college softball. My morning and afternoons are mainly free, in the afternoon is when I workout but I am very flexible! We used to have a fenced in area in our backyard for our dogs and a pool deck (no pool) but had to tear down our deck and now we have a beautiful grassy green area with lots of plants! Our home inside is very pet friendly we have cat and dog toys as well as cat and dog food/treats!

About: I’ve worked as a kennel tech/bather Ive cleaned kennel feeding and providing water for dogs and cats I have experience walking dogs of all sizes from puppies to Great Danes I’ve medicated clients and also bathe and done nail trims I’ve handled cats too with bathing and giving meds to cleaning out litter boxes.
