About: I’ve been taking care of dogs since sophomore year of high school and I feel pretty comfortable with any dog of any size! I would take very good care of each dog I encounter to ensure they are safe. I’m currently a college student at Texas A&M, so I am more flexible friday through sunday for dog sitting. As well as in the mornings on mondays, wednesday, and friday for dog walking. I always follow the owners instructions on how to best accommodate the dog. And in the clients house I make sure to maintain boundaries and ensure the dog is cared for and safe.

About: I was 12 when I got my first dog, a cocker spaniel named Megara. My parents quickly put me in charge of her, and caring for her taught me to put another's needs before my own. She gave me lifelong lessons about the love and loyalty between a pet and their owner. Today I have an Old English Sheepdog named Delphi. Other owners at the dog park often comment on how sweet she is, and she has grown into a great older sister to our family dog, Luna (who lives with my family). Between the two of them, I am comfortable with large breeds and with the extra patience senior dogs need. I have also dog sat regularly for friends, so I am used to stepping into someone else's routine and keeping their dog on it. I am very outdoorsy on top of that, so your dog will get real walks, not a quick trip around the block. As a PhD student, I work from home most of the day. My time on campus is limited to a few classes, my TA hours, and a student association meeting every other week, so I am home and available far more than someone on a standard nine to five. That flexibility is a big part of why I got Delphi at the start of my PhD. She has always had someone around to take her out during the day, and I can offer your dog the same. Before any payments or booking, I would like to set up a meet and greet so I can see how your dog responds to me. It tells me a lot, whether they warm up right away or need space, and it means the first day is not the first time we have met. This doesn't have to be long but it is a nice first impression to the dog. In my home, your dog will not be alone. Delphi is here as company, and I introduce new dogs to her slowly and on neutral ground so the first meeting goes well for both of them (like a local dog park). I live in a quiet, secure apartment community with an on-site dog park and an open field next door, plus several trails within walking distance, so your dog gets real exercise rather than being cooped up all day. Delphi is not crate trained and has free run of the apartment, but I am happy to crate your dog if that is part of their routine. Just bring the crate and let me know the schedule you use. In your home, I stick to your dog's routine rather than imposing my own. I follow your feeding times, walk schedule, and house rules, keep dogs leashed anywhere that is not fenced, and send photo updates so you know how the day went. If anything seems off with your dog, I contact you right away, and I am prepared to drive them to a vet if it cannot wait.

With all my years of experience having these cats in the home, my knowledge of feline diseases and conditions is vast. Does you cat have FeLV, FIV, herpesvirus? Ringworm or parasites? Perfectly fine. If there are others without those in the home, trust that I’ll take every precaution possible by changing my shoes and clothes, washing my hands, and making sure the special pet stays in their space. Does their diabetes, asthma, arthritis, or stomatitis mean they require around the clock oral meds or intramuscular injections? No problem. Mine too! Let me know their schedule, and I’ll be on top of it. Does your baby require some extra patience, care, and maybe some cleaning? Are they incontinent or have trouble getting around due to a neurological disability or a missing leg? Are they hearing or visually impaired? Perfect! I’ll help your baby out without fuss. Do I just need to pop in, clean their box, drop some food, and head out? That’s fine I guess… I know that every medically complicated cat has their own routine and their own limits, so I’m happy to follow detailed instructions from owners or interpret medical records. I believe animals deserve a gentle hand and plenty of patience, especially when they’re nervous with their family away. My goal is to always make your pet feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you are away. I’m much more catered to cat care, as I feel more comfortable in my knowledge and experience working with them, but I’m open to dogs aswell. About: My name is Tor! I am a 32 year old Marine Corps Veteran, Certified Pet Trainer and educated on canine body language. I’ve loved animals my entire life and started pet sitting and walking in highschool for family and friends. About: I was 12 when I got my first dog, a cocker spaniel named Megara. My parents quickly put me in charge of her, and caring for her taught me to put another's needs before my own. She gave me lifelong lessons about the love and loyalty between a pet and their owner. Today I have an Old English Sheepdog named Delphi. Other owners at the dog park often comment on how sweet she is, and she has grown into a great older sister to our family dog, Luna (who lives with my family). Between the two of them, I am comfortable with large breeds and with the extra patience senior dogs need. I have also dog sat regularly for friends, so I am used to stepping into someone else's routine and keeping their dog on it. I am very outdoorsy on top of that, so your dog will get real walks, not a quick trip around the block. As a PhD student, I work from home most of the day. My time on campus is limited to a few classes, my TA hours, and a student association meeting every other week, so I am home and available far more than someone on a standard nine to five. That flexibility is a big part of why I got Delphi at the start of my PhD. She has always had someone around to take her out during the day, and I can offer your dog the same. Before any payments or booking, I would like to set up a meet and greet so I can see how your dog responds to me. It tells me a lot, whether they warm up right away or need space, and it means the first day is not the first time we have met. This doesn't have to be long but it is a nice first impression to the dog. In my home, your dog will not be alone. Delphi is here as company, and I introduce new dogs to her slowly and on neutral ground so the first meeting goes well for both of them (like a local dog park). I live in a quiet, secure apartment community with an on-site dog park and an open field next door, plus several trails within walking distance, so your dog gets real exercise rather than being cooped up all day. Delphi is not crate trained and has free run of the apartment, but I am happy to crate your dog if that is part of their routine. Just bring the crate and let me know the schedule you use. In your home, I stick to your dog's routine rather than imposing my own. I follow your feeding times, walk schedule, and house rules, keep dogs leashed anywhere that is not fenced, and send photo updates so you know how the day went. If anything seems off with your dog, I contact you right away, and I am prepared to drive them to a vet if it cannot wait.
