“The best experience I have had with a sitter. We had a meet and great and my dog loved her. She was super kind and caring and my dog seemed so happy every time she sent me a picture. Brenda went above and beyond; I will be booking for future visits!!”

“We used her for our Gunnar that’s 8 months old and she did a great job. She sent us pics and videos and took him on trips to her family ranch to run around. She’s was also very easy to deal with and has a great attitude. Shatara should be your first choice on Rover! Thanks again”

“Madelin was amazing! It was my dogs first time before around others and he seemed to take to them well! Madelin provided photos/vidoes everyday along with any updates. I love how communicative she was. She also helped out with the tear build up he gets sometimes without even being asked! I am so glad she was the sitter he has every had and I’ll definitely be back.”

“Jessica took care of Ozzy for 1 week and she was amazing. We initially did a meet and greet to make sure Ozzy could meet her with us and let him look at her home, so he would be familiarized. She is super sweet and answered all our questions. When we were on our vacation, she replied quickly to our messages and sent us pictures/updates. We love that she has a fur baby of her own, so Ozzy had someone to play with. We will definitely book with her next time.”

“I can’t say enough great things about Nakeya . She was able to step in last minute after my previous sitter canceled, and I’m so grateful she did. She took amazing care of my dog—sending me daily pictures and updates so I always knew how things were going. She made sure my dog got plenty of outdoor time and attention throughout the day. It was clear she truly cared, and my dog absolutely loved her. I’ll definitely be booking with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, caring sitter!”

“My fur babies loved Aushi! Her backyard is spacious enough for the dogs to run around. She provided updates while I was out of town. My dogs were super tired when I picked them up, so I can tell they enjoyed their stay! 🤍”
“My Hulk had a fantastic time with Cathy! This trip was last minute and very happy she was available. Hulk is looking forward to his overnight stay again in September 🥰”

“Tabitha is a wonderful dog sitter! She was very responsive and kept me updated while I was out of town! She listened to my special request and adhered to all of my wishes! I didn’t worry about my dogs, and felt confident they were in good hands! To top it all, she gave us a beautiful canvas that highlighted photos of my dogs stay! She’s the best and I will definitely use her again!!”

“This was Rocco first time away from home at someone he didn’t know house in it started out pretty rocky. But Yaldelie was very patient with him in she sent lots of pictures in keep me updated can’t think her enough. Yaldelia is highly recommended.”

“Oleksandra was great! She took excellent care of my beagle, keeping him safe and happy while we were gone. Her house is very clean and safe, with a fenced backyard with plenty of room for dogs to run around. I appreciated the regular check-ins and pictures where my dog seemed happy and relaxed. I came back to a calm and happy pup which reassured me he was in very good hands. I highly recommend Sandra and will definitely be using her services again!”

“Teresa did an outstanding job watching our sweet Jasper! She sent plenty of pictures and was very responsive to all questions about Jasper's stay! I will definitely re-book with Teresa and highly recommend her as a sitter for your fur baby!”

“My dog has never stayed with anyone who isn't family so we were a little nervous but they allowed him to take his time and adjust. They're very knowledgeable about dogs. Our dog adjusted better to staying here overnight than he does to a few hours with family.”

“We received regular updates, photos, and reassurance, which gave us complete peace of mind while we were away. My dogs came home happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for. 10/10 would book again!”

“I’m so thankful to have found Lovanna! She took such great care of my anxious dog, & as a last minute request on top of that. He came back with a little Christmas toy & a wagging tail❤️”

“Gloria, has done a great job in caring for my dogs. She takes care of them as I would, and she has a way with dogs as no other. She sends pictures and videos and goes beyond expectations. I would recommend Gloria because of her expertise in caring for small dogs.”

“Elle is so attentive. Our cat was hidden and Elle asked about her favorite hiding spots and was able to put eyes on her… Dodo loves Elle. We’ve booked her three times and already have another stayed booked. Highly recommend!”

“Sarah was amazing. Got it all done handling our pride of kitties. So happy had someone to trust to take good care of them. Thanks Sarah will be using her for future care”

“April went above and beyond to easily adjust to our changing schedule. She was great at communicating with me and sent the cutest pics of our fur babies. I will definitely be using her again! Highly recommend!”

“Aleksandra was nothing short of amazing! We booked on a super short notice and we got so lucky she was able to visit our girl three times! Lots of photos, great communication, and very friendly! Will definitely be booking with her every single time we go out of town and hope she will be available.”

“Jennifer is amazing! She has a gift with cats. I have rather shy cats, 4 out of 6 will hide with strangers. She was able to win 5 out of 6 over immediately. Even with the one that stayed hidden she would keep in contact with me to make sure she is OK as I have cameras up to make sure they are good. She did everything we asked and made sure our Gnomio had his diabetic medicine every day. This was the first time I was able to go on vacation and relax knowing my babies were well taken care of. I will definitely be a repeat customer.”

About: I have quite a bit of experience when it comes to caring for animals. I’ve personally taken care of my own dogs as well as family members. I can feed, bathe, walk, administer medication, and complete whatever duties needed to make sure your pet is happy and comfortable. I have experience in caring for puppies and senior dogs. I’ve also earned my certification to be a Veterinary Assistant. Im currently not employed full time, so my schedule is pretty flexible. I am currently enrolled in my 1st year of Vet Tech school, but it will not affect me being able to work for rover. I have a fenced in backyard that is secure for my pets. I make sure that there’s nothing on the ground that can harm my pets. I keep a close eye on my pets while they are outside whether it’s to play or potty. I also have cameras for extra security. I plan to care for my clients pets like they are my own. If I’m visiting a clients home I would follow those same safety precautions.

“Kendra is flexible, kind, and dependable. Our cat is difficult and needy. Kendra goes the extra mile to make him feel loved and comfortable. I wouldn’t trust my pet with anyone else.”

About: I had two dogs growing up and now I have one 4 year old dog who I have been taken care of since 8th grade. I also occasionally take care of my neighbors dogs and cats. In August, I will be attending college on a track scholarship, and I will need to train a lot over the summer so this will allow me to fit in my training along with making some money before I go to college. My dog that I take care of now has tons of toys to play with, water bowl is constantly filled and is fed 2-3 times a day as required.

About: I care for my own cat daily—bathing her (only when needed), brushing her fur and teeth, trimming her nails, and making sure she gets plenty of playtime and attention. I'm gentle, patient, and always focused on keeping her happy and healthy.

“Stephen does an awesome job with communicating with us, and was very thorough in taking care of our cats. This is our second time booking with him and we will be sure to work with him again! Thanks so much Stephen!”

About: Experience in cat care: I've been cat sitting for different types of cats for 21 years to include senior cats, cats with diabetes, cats with swimmer’s syndrome, one cat in a wheelchair, shy cats, active cats, multi-pet households, hairless cats, indoor/outdoor cats, indoor only cats, outdoor only cats & kittens. I have my own reliable transportation, and I'm able to transport animals places such as to/from boarding facilities, the vet, groomers, or for a stress-free move. I do not have the availability to board animals at my own home. Experience in cat rescue: I've had space in my home to rescue and train cats and kittens for the last 4 years. My Bahraini Dilmun rescue cat, Piccolo, started with me as a feral juvenile in a house with a dog, and became a well-adjusted sweetheart who has traveled on 10 hour plane rides with me, has traveled over 4,000 miles in the car with me, and goes on nightly walks around the block with me. :) Additional pet care: I also have 22 years' pet sitting experience with hamsters, guinea pigs, rabbits, fresh water fish, turtles, geese and pigs. In my free time, I've rescued, rehabilitated, trained, fostered and been a pet owner to both dogs and cats in Texas, Hawaii, Spain and the Kingdom of Bahrain. I have also volunteered at animal rescue and no-kill shelters in all of those places.

About: Hi! I love cats they’re honestly so under appreciated as a pet. I currently have 5 cats myself which all have been neutered and spayed since I'm a big advocate on this topic. Most of them came from the streets so it’s very important to me to make sure we care for our cats and decrease the feline population in a responsible manner.

“Jaqueline is very communicative and understood everything I told her. My dog had a great time with her at her recent doggy daycare. Will definitely book with her again. I’m very pleased with the way Bailey was taken care of.”

About: With over 15 years of experience in private pet sitting and personal dog ownership, I have a deep love and sense of consideration for animals. For two years, I have been dedicated to providing high-quality care through Rover, building a reputation for reliability and attentiveness. Pet care is my only commitment, so I am available for those that need more than the technical pet sitting: drop ins through the day and stay overnight. I have stayed with elder pups who could not be alone longer than 1-2 hours. So, I can be as available within my bookings as much as I am needed. Outside of pet care, I lead a quiet, home-centered lifestyle. This translates perfectly into attentive overnight care for animals that thrive in a peaceful, calm environment. Pet care is my sole professional commitment, allowing me to be fully present for your companions. My long-term goals include finding community through pet-related events, pursuing volunteer opportunities, and eventually establishing my own dedicated care business. Everyone receives specialized interaction suited to their personality and energy level: For dogs, activities often include decompression/sniff walks, backyard play, and relaxed companionship like porch sitting or quiet couch time. High-energy pets receive engaging play and mental stimulation, while seniors or sensitive dogs receive slower, confidence-building interaction and low-stress movement. For cats, there could be wand play, chase-and-capture sessions, window or bird watch enrichment, brushing (if enjoyed), and calm social time on their terms. Between activities, I prioritize rest and normal household rhythm so no one is overstimulated or unsettled. I also maintain the cleanliness of pet areas and keep the home secure and lived-in (for overnights/extended stays).

About: Growing up with animals all my life, I shared my love with my own kids by volunteering with our local shelter and rescues with my kiddos. With over 200 foster dogs, many of which were puppies, they are naturals and know much about pet care. We have 2 small dogs and 1 cat (inside/outside) of our own who are also accustom to other animals through our home. For care in your home, I can come by up to 4 times a day - walk, feed, water, potty breaks and play/cuddle. When at my house, I work from home, so potty breaks, walks and outside time are frequent. A typical day around here consists of potty breaks first thing and meals distributed in the morning. However, if you have a different schedule, I can accommodate that. At your home, we will start with time outside, then feed/water as needed, cuddle and play, and always go back outside for potty time before departure. We can also follow any instructions you might have. At my home, I have a very large backyard (several acres) that is currently partially fenced. While I am working on a smaller fenced area for our guests, if needed, I have a 50' lead where your dog will be fully supervised but allowed to run, play and sunbathe. Also, we will go on leashed walks.

About: Animals have been apart of my life ever since I was born!!! My family has owned everything from your common dogs and cats to aquatic life and even exotics!! I guess you can say I was born to be your regular Dr. Doolittle. I started taking care of animals at the age of 11 when I obtained my first horse. It was then that I learned the importance of feeding schedules, nutrition and clean up duty. I even had a hand in giving vaccinations. By the time I graduated high school, I was responsible for the daily care of 7 horses. I continued to explore my love for everything animals by obtaining my bachelor's in animal science with a focus in veterinary medicine. During that time I also worked and volunteered at animal hospitals in order to gain the hands on experience of administering medications orally, in the muscle and by IV as well as animal handling. ***CERTIFIED GROOMER*** I have my grooming certification so I also offer grooming services at a discounted price during your stay. Book a boarding or daycare stay and get 20% off any grooming service or you can just come drop off your animal for a few hours of pampering and pickup after they’re done for regular price. Please contact me for pricing. Meet and Greet Schedule: Monday-Friday - 4pm-8pm in between any visits I have scheduled. Saturday - 2pm-8pm in between any visits I have scheduled. Sunday - anytime in between any visits I have scheduled Boarding Drop-off/Pickup Schedule: Sunday-Saturday - 5:30am-11pm in between any visits I have scheduled. These times are based on my current schedule and are subject to change at anytime so please contact me first to see if I can accommodate a specific time frame. My Policies: Due to unexpected changes with visits that can happen, for example, bad weather, heavy traffic, changes with client's return times/dates due to delayed flights or return travel, animal emergencies (personal animals and/or client animals), etc, drop in visits and dog walking arrival times are as follows: morning visits/walks - 7am-9am Afternoon visits/walks - 11am-1pm Evening/night visits/walks - 6pm-8:30pm I service multiple households a day so to ensure that all animals are serviced within a reasonable time frame, this is the schedule I uphold to and may not be able to accommodate households that aren't flexible with my visit time frame. If you require a time that isn't within my time frame, please reach out to me to see if I'm able to accommodate your time. Rover cards are started from the time I am walking to your door. If you live in an area that's hard for parking or I have to park far away, part of the 30 min visit includes the round trip walk to and from where I have to park. This ensures that I am finished with your visit in a timely manner to service other households. It's not fair for other households to experience delays in their visit due to this. For households that don't have a backyard for me to let the dogs out to potty, if it's raining and cold, I will not be able to walk the dog until the rain has stopped. I'm sorry for the inconvenience this may cause but cold + rain = sick sitter 🤒 Please make sure you understand and are ok with these policies before we schedule a meet and greet so as to prevent any friction that may arise during the visit. When I care for animals in or out of the clients' home, the goal is to keep the animal as comfortable as possible. I require an interview to meet the pets and their owners prior to sitting to gain a feel of the environment, the pet parents and fur babies. I also take this time to learn the daily routine and answer any questions. I have beds, crates, toys, treats, anything to cater to your critter. There's daily playtime in the backyard to ensure your buddy gets plenty of exercise. Each dog walk experience is tailored to the specific personality of the dog. Whether they like to play in groups or one on one treatment, there's something for everyone.
“Melanie was a fantastic sitter. I dropped Avatar off at her place so that I could go to a performance nearby. She gave him a lot of attention and care, and even though he’s an anxious dog, he was relaxed and happy when I came to pick him up”

“Taylor did an AMAZING job with Kobe! She was available last minute for his walks and was able to assist with caring for him. Her communication was great! I will definitely use her again.”

About: I offer dog sitting for rescues of all ages and farm pets, and I’ve been around dogs since birth, with friends and family always trusting me to care for their pets. With school ending, I’ll be available for pet care all summer from 10 AM to 8 PM. I work mostly weekdays, but I’m also able to cover some weekends when needed to keep pets on their routine and well cared for. In my client’s home, I keep each pet’s routine consistent and make sure they feel safe and comfortable. I follow feeding schedules, provide walks and playtime, and I’m patient with rescues, seniors, and puppies. I’ve had dogs since birth, and friends and family have always trusted me with their pets, so I will bring that same dependable care to every home I enter.
About: About me: I have time & quality care to give to the pet(s) you love while walking or pet/house sitting because I'm an online college student. I have 22 years of dog, cat and other pet care experience to include pet walking, training, transporting, vet visits & pet/house sitting listed in detail below. I'm starting in the job field of Animal Behavior on completion of my college degree. My previous career of 21 years was in oceanography, & I look forward to giving your pet the love and attention they deserve. Experience in DOG CARE: In the last 22 years, on the side of my regular job, I have been trusted by family, friends and new clients via word of mouth to pet sit for canines of all sorts to include senior dogs, dogs with cancer, high energy dogs, shy and nervous dogs, a Great Dane, puppies and multi-pet households. Experience in CAT CARE: I've been cat sitting for 21 years for senior cats, cats with diabetes, cats with swimmer’s syndrome, one cat in a wheelchair, shy cats, active cats, multi-pet households, hairless cats, indoor/outdoor cats, indoor only cats, outdoor only cats & kittens. ADDITIONAL PET CARE: I also have 22 years' pet sitting experience with other pets such as hamsters, guinea pigs, rabbits, fresh water fish, turtles, geese and pigs. In my free time, I've rescued, rehabilitated, trained, fostered and been a pet owner to both dogs and cats in Texas, Virginia, California, Hawaii, Spain and the Kingdom of Bahrain. I have also volunteered at animal rescue and no-kill shelters in all of those places as follows: Humane Society, PAWS of Texas, Hawai'i Bird Rescue, Hawai'i Marine Animal Response, Rota Animal Welfare League Spain, and Bahrain SPCA. I am available for walking, pet/house sitting, pet care, vet visits, pet transportation and moving because I'm a full-time online university student. I have my own reliable transportation to come to you, but I do not have the availability to board animals in my residence at this time. My goal is to keep your pet(s) in their routine with the same worry-free, stress-free care as you have set up for them for walking, pet/house sitting, pet care, vet visits, pet transportation or moving. I have my own reliable transportation to come to you. I offer pet transportation in my own vehicle as well, but I do not have boarding facilities available at this time.
About: I have taken care of many dogs through out my years from small chihuahuas to Great Pyrenees. I currently own a German Shepherd, Blue Heeler and two Great Pyrenees that I love with all my heart. I have experience with many breeds and also with training dogs. I can potty train them and teach them a few discipline skills like sit and stays and also teach them funny tricks. I have always loved animals and I want to use this opportunity to experience more with animals as a future veterinarian. I believe becoming a dog sitter will help me have more experience with getting to know different dogs. I honestly believe this will be a fun experience to meet new people and their beloved pets.
About: I provide more than just pet sitting — I offer dependable, personalized care tailored to each dog’s unique personality, needs, and routine. What truly sets me apart is: Experience You Can Trust: With 10 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs of all breeds, ages, and temperaments, I’m confident handling everything from energetic puppies to senior dogs needing special attention. Individualized Attention: I only take a limited number of clients at a time to ensure every dog gets the time, affection, and care they deserve. Consistent Communication: I keep owners updated with regular messages, photos, and videos, so they feel connected and reassured while they're away. Professionalism & Reliability: I treat every booking with the utmost responsibility—always on time, fully insured (if applicable), and respectful of your home and your pet's routine. Genuine Love for Dogs: I build real relationships with the dogs I care for. I treat them like family, and that bond shows in every tail wag and happy greeting. As someone who works from home, I’m able to provide constant companionship and attention to the dogs in my care. I’m always with my own dog, and I’d love to welcome yours into our daily routine as well. We enjoy frequent walks, playtime outside, and plenty of downtime together indoors. Because I’m home throughout the day, your dog will never be left alone or crated for long periods. I treat every dog like part of the family—offering a calm, loving environment where they can feel safe, relaxed, and well cared for. Caring for Pets in My Home: In my home, pets are treated like family. I provide a safe, clean, and calm environment where they can feel comfortable and secure. I follow each pet’s regular routine closely—whether that’s feeding schedules, walks, playtime, or medication. I work from home, so your pet will never be left alone for long and will receive plenty of attention, exercise, and affection throughout the day. I also ensure dogs get outdoor time often and have a cozy, quiet space to relax when they need it. Caring for Pets in Clients’ Homes: When caring for pets in their own home, I respect both your space and your pet’s routine. I follow all instructions carefully to maintain consistency and reduce stress—this includes feeding times, walks, medications, and any specific care preferences. I also keep you updated regularly with messages, photos, and any notable changes in your pet’s behavior or health. Your pet’s comfort and safety are always my top priorities.
“Alexis is just great! She is punctual, conscientious and my dog just loves her. Unfortunately I have had to cancel the walks. Hopefully we can re-start after the New Year.”

“The dogs loved it there. I expected them to be running to our arm and they were happy but it seems like they wanted to stay. Poppie sent us tons of great pictures and they seem to enjoy themselves. I will be using her again.”

“Apollo stayed for a week and had a fantastic experience and was happy when I picked him up. Aedan sent helpful picture and video updates during his stay, and Apollo was happy and well-cared for.”

“Beverly was wonderful taking care of our little girl! Ruby felt safe and happy with her right away. We appreciated the updates and pictures she sent during our trip. Booking with Beverly again soon :)”

“Haley is the BEST! She always takes such great care of our dog, is flexible with drop off and pick up, and is very communicative / sends pictures & videos throughout his stay.”

“I can’t thank you enough for watching Arthur and Parker, they were fast asleep on the way home which tells me that they had an amazing time with you both and Lucy! We are so grateful to have found Richard and Stephanie because they understand the energy of boxers and were more than happy to help them use up that energy. We appreciated the communication and especially the pictures, thank you so much! I highly recommend Richard and Stephanie.”

“My dog has never stayed with anyone who isn't family so we were a little nervous but they allowed him to take his time and adjust. They're very knowledgeable about dogs. Our dog adjusted better to staying here overnight than he does to a few hours with family.”

“Denise is wonderful. Made our pet feel right at home. Made her a sweatshirt- due to the cold weather and gave her a blanket to cuddle with to keep warm. She will definitely be my go to person for future boarding needs.”

“Gizmo is a frequent visitor at Margaritas! He loves it over with her and all the friendly pups that stay over with her. Margarita is an all-star and a highly responsible sitter. She is responsive and super caring. We know Gizmo is always well taken care of with Margarita.”

“Kara was awesome and her home is perfect for the dogs. As a plus we found out she’s within walking distance of our house, so we found a new neighbor and friend! Kara sent lots of pictures and always responded quickly to messages. Rico was well loved and taken care of.”

“I’m so happy to have found Ms. Yvette! She was very accommodating with drop off & pick up times. My little guy also has to take daily medications and she followed the medication directions and took him on daily short walks. He even made a new friend with another boarder. My pup looked very well upon pickup and in even better health so I’m convinced that she not only administered medications correctly but was also gave him the love & attention he’s used to. She sent messages daily & allowed him to sleep in her bed as well as sending photos. As long as she’s in business, Ms. Yvette will be my go-to person to care for my pup if I need to go out of town. Her home is clean and she’s trust worthy & responsible.”
