A lot of people get a bit confused regarding the actual service we are to provide because rover does not do a very good job defining each service. House sitting is essentially OVER NIGHT sitting, a sitter comes and stays over night to watch over your pup/pups/pet and leaves in the morning. I usually take an over night sitting as an 8hr shift, so if I come at 10PM, I leave at 6-7AM. Unfortunately, house sitting is not a service where the sitter stays at your home over night and comes to check on your pet several times a day, those would be “drop-in visits” and you would need to book those :). I understand it could get expensive, so In cases where the client lives really close to me, I am willing to work with you, just contact me :). I usually take care of pets the same way I do with my family dog. With kindness patience and attentiveness. Snacks as well, unless instructed other wise.

I understand how important pets are to their families, so I treat every dog like they’re my own and make sure they get plenty of attention, care, and love while you’re away. I work during the day at a school, so I’m available after school hours on weekdays and most weekends. I am also mainly free during anytime of the day during the holidays. Pet care fits naturally into my routine because I’m very active and enjoy spending time outdoors. I’m happy to take dogs on walks, play with them, and give them plenty of attention and care. I’m also flexible and can work with your pet’s usual schedule for feeding, walks, and routines. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I always make sure dogs are supervised, secure, and in a calm environment. I follow each pet’s routine closely, including feeding schedules, walks, medications, and any special instructions you provide. When caring for pets, I make sure they get plenty of exercise, attention, and affection. I also provide updates and photos so you can feel comfortable knowing your pet is safe and well cared for while you’re away.
About: I’ve had dogs my entire life growing up. I currently take care of my 16 year old pup. She is the light of my life and my best friend. I am a full time registered nurse. On my days off I love to spend time with my 16 year old poodle. My availability changes weekly depending on my work schedule. I have a fenced backyard. During my time away, she was very quick to respond and provided several pictures of Winnie enjoying her stay and interacting with the family. After picking Winnie up, I could immediately tell she has been getting plenty of play and attention from Andrea's kids and the dogs. In the future, Andrea will be my number one choice!”
