“Jackie is an AMAZING sitter. Our dogs very clearly enjoy their time with her and her family! She gives consistent updates along with great photos of the dogs throughout their stay. She also goes the extra mile to be flexible and beyond understanding as she recently watched our dogs while my wife was in the hospital. Will definitely continue to book with her.”
“They were great with my fur babies and very patient with them. My dogs have separation anxiety and like to be near people all the time. They handled them with care, patience and understanding. Very nice couple, overall really good people.”

“Thank you so much, Snehal and Vivek, for taking such wonderful care of our sweet Maple! The daily pictures made me so happy—I could see she felt right at home with you. No crate, just freedom to snuggle on the sofa and bed, daily walks, and even a pink hair bow! This is the second time in two months that Maple has stayed with you, and each time has been such a positive experience. We’re so grateful for the love and care you give her. Thank you again for treating her like your own!”

“This was a great first experience for me using Rover! I chose Sabrina because of her location and if I take a trip again she will automatically be the first one I contact again for future bookings. She kept me updated on Katsu multiple times a day and sent me pictures as well. Katsu can be a bit high energy and she worked great with him and told me she would like to have him over again. We've found our go-to dog sitter!”
“WOW! What can I say? David Felipe and his family did an amazing job taking care of our dogs. We had a particular situation with our two dogs, and they handled it with ease. I loved the daily pics of them being taken care of. It made our vacation feel at ease knowing our furry family members were being cared for and doted on. I highly recommend David Felipe to anyone that needs a good sitter. I will definitely book again when we need him.”
“As a first‑time Rover user, I was nervous about leaving my dogs with anyone outside of family. Ashley made the entire experience better than I expected. She took amazing care of both of my dogs — my energetic three‑year‑old English Bulldog and my 24‑year‑old Chihuahua who needs extra help and daily medical attention. Ashley and her two boys were incredibly loving and patient with them, and it showed. My dogs were happy, comfortable, and clearly well cared for throughout their stay. I was especially impressed by the weekly care checklist she created for each dog. She handed it to me when I picked them up, detailing everything she did for them. It was thoughtful, organized, and gave me complete peace of mind. I’m so grateful for the care she provided. I would absolutely book with Ashley again.”

“I booked Kailin to drop-in on my 2 cats while I was away on vacation, and she was wonderful ! She did a meet and greet at my place, which offered me a lot of reassurance before my trip. She was also incredibly flexible and understanding, going out of her way to accommodate for me when I needed to change my plans last minute. Most importantly, my kitties were comfortable around her. (which says a lot because they’re scared of sneezes and shadows) 💚 Kailin truly treated my cats like they were her own, and it was a huge relief to know that they were in good hands while I was away. I'm grateful for her help and can highly recommend her services. She's definitely my new go-to sitter !”

Cecelia was very communicative and kept our dog entertained while we were away - she even sent photos of the fun :) If we lived in this area, we would definitely use Cecelia again!”
“Look no further and contact Candace! Georgie is a special needs dog with a ridiculous amount of energy and separation anxiety. When Candace opened the door and got right on the ground to greet her, Georgie bounded in and never looked back. Candace and wonderful Jimmy and their family are pure dog people. Their home is dog heaven with outside access all the time, toys, cozy dog areas, soft couches and humans always available. Their adorable dogs are super friendly and welcoming. I can’t say enough how loving and sweet Candace and Jimmy are. Georgie loved them and I grew concerned she wouldn’t leave!!! Candace has a lifetime of experience and an unequaled passion for dogs. I loved her pictures, updates and instant responses. Georgie is just this second interrupting to ask if she could go back this week...”
“Sabrina did a great job taking care of Prince. Everything went smoothly, and my dog was well looked after and comfortable. Communication was clear, and I appreciated knowing my dog was in good hands. I’d definitely be happy to use her again and would recommend Sabrina to others!”

About: I’ve been caring for animals for many years, including dogs and cats of different ages, sizes, and personalities. I work from home full-time, so have plenty of time to attend to your pup! Our work schedules are very flexible so will always be available for potty breaks, quick outdoor walks and play time. I have a fenced yard for potty breaks and one friendly dog. (I can separate if needed) I can also crate your dog if requested or needed.
“Lola had a wonderful day with Karen. She treated Lola just like family, giving her so much love, affection, and attention. Karen was able to send updates and pictures of Lola throughout the day. I know Karen will be my first go-to person to care for my little angel. I recommend Karen wholeheartedly! She’s wonderful!”

“This was our first time using Rover and our experience was absolutely amazing. Lorena took such great care of my fur baby while I was in San Antonio for a doctor's appointment. Lorena took her for walks, fed her, and documented all the care my fur baby received while she was in her care. I also received several photos of my dog during her stay with Lorena. She also went above and beyond by giving me a note card and doggy toy for my fur baby as a parting gift It is so nice to be able to travel with my dog and have exceptional care available when she can't be with me. We will definitely be booking with Lorena again when we are back in San Antonio in the fall.”
“Jennifer is so amazing. I got a 9 week old husky puppy and I couldn't bare to leave her at home while I'm at work. I talked to several sitters before landing on Jennifer. Akasha my husky is a big baby and constantly needs cuddles attention and potty breaks. Jennifer is soooo amazing with her Akasha gets so excited when she sees we're at Jennifer's for daycare. Her tail goes crazy and she starts running all over. Jennifer loves akasha and akasha loves her she takes such great care of her and treats her like her own dog. If you have ANY second thoughts on who to care for your fur baby look no further Jennifer should be your only choice! I have a recurring weekly daycare with Jennifer for akasha and I know if I have to go out of town who to board her with! Thank you so much for being so amazing Jennifer!!”

Whether your furry family member needs care, cuddles, or a playmate, I'm here to help and make them feel at home! I've decided to take pet sitting on as I'm saving up to go back to school this year! After losing my mom to cancer recently, I've found myself reignited to go back to school and complete my degree as well as buy a car. I'd love to reach my goals in my favorite way, being surrounded by loving furry babies who I can pour attention and love into. Excited to work with you 💕🥰 Looking forward to meeting your pets! I work full time from home so I have plenty of time and attention to give to your sweet babies 🤍 They'll get plenty of walks and potty breaks! About: Hi y’all! I’m Jackson, and I am a huge animal lover. I’ve lived with at least 2 dogs my entire life, and I now have 3 dogs waiting for me back home in Houston. My animals received many, many walks while under my care. I’ve dog sat for countless neighbors, family friends, and strangers, and I’m no stranger to scoopin’ some poop. My oldest pooch was 18 years old, and I’m more than aware of the stubbornness that age brings along. I’ve raised many puppies too, so I’m familiar with the nuance of tender yet firm care. I’d love to get to know and provide top-notch care for your animals, if you’d let me! I am a full time student at UTSA. I have class on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, so Tuesdays, Thursdays, and weekends are more than often available. I try to visit home once a month to spend time with my family, including my dogs, so I’d love to fill this canine void I experience here in San Antonio. I have been the owner and the stranger to untrusting dogs, so I’ve gathered the best way to approach these kind of animals from both sides. I have no issue with getting on their level, exercising patience, or crating. I pick up on mannerisms and comfort levels easily, and I can adapt to the needs of each animal efficiently.
“Katelyn is attentive to all the little things we ask for her to do when she cares for our dogs, and more! She goes above and beyond, is clear with how she communicates/confirms our requests, and is so kind :)”
About: I am the family animal caretaker who is trusted and loves animals! Experience ranges from personally owning cat and dogs, working at vets, senior care. I work full time during the week but am open to friday and saturday mornings! Hoping to be more open after more experience with rover! I am all ears for at home instructions and am open to giving medications and extra care for seniors! Overall looking out for their wellbeing!
“Hector is amazing with my Carrick and was from the very beginning. I'm disabled and found myself in need of a part-time dog walker. My dog is being trained as a service dog but was also rescued from a shelter and does not trust people easily. Hector asked what commands he knew, what was the best way to approach him, didn't flinch when my baby got anxious during their meet and greet. He won my furbaby over so completely that the next morning when Hector showed up for the first walk, Carrick quietly sniffed and accepted him and was more than happy to go on a walk with him. Hector also discovered the best way to walk Carrick on their first walk - I've never seen him come back from a walk so happy before! I cannot recommend Hector enough. He has experience, is intuitive, communicative, respectful, thoughtful, and takes great care of your fur babies. My little man gets the tippy-tappies when he hears him walking up to the door. A dog that usually takes months to warm up to folks. If you hire Hector you will not be disappointed. You will have a reliable, skilled and trustworthy person to take care of your furbaby.”

Experienced in caring for dogs with high medical needs from puppyhood to senior care, I'm especially good at getting stubborn pups to take their medication with minimal stress. I've worked on training highly reactive dogs, decently stubborn, and working dogs who need tricks to get their minds to rest. I promise to provide the highest level of care and attention to your pet and their needs! I work contract work while in graduate school, so I can be available to meet the needs of you and your fur baby and most any time or schedule! My services will focus on the comfort and wellveing of your pet, while being conscientious and respectful of your space. Together we'll make sure that your home is respected while your fur baby gets exceptional care.
“Georgia was a delight to work with - caring, considerate, and conscientious. Gidget loved their time together and we will definitely rebook when the opportunity rises. .”
About: I have taken care of dogs and cats since I was 12. I would walk families dogs and care for their pets! Cats are included. I try to spend time outside every day and walking your dog would be the perfect addition to my daily life. I work a flexible job so house sitting will fit in well! I will always be mindful to follow house guidelines and pet guidelines. I will use discernment in situations if needed and make sure that your pet is getting the love they need!
“Belinda is great, we were looking for a long term walker/sitter compatible with our girl and we think it's a great fit. Punctual and professional, will use from now on for our needs.”
About: I've taken care of pets since my early twenties and have even helped potty train both my dogs as well as family members'. Most recently I have cared for 2 senior dogs and a Great Dane with several disabilities. I work from home and have ample time to provide care and attention to my pups. If needed I can step away from work for walks, play, potty breaks, etc. I have a fenced yard and two friendly pups two keep your babies company. I can also crate your pup if needed. Our own pets are pretty spoiled and they have their own beds but tend to lay in blankets on our couch!
About: I have been told that I have a way with animals , especially dogs in terms of gaining their trust. I have raised a number a dogs over 2 decades living on the family ranch. The latest dog I picked out for the family was very shy and scared. But I bonded with him quickly and gained his trust. FYI, I understand that this a job that I must prioritize customer service, and the health and well-being of their pets. I am well aware the duties of house sitting would include washing toys and dishes, mopping if needed, making sure the pets get plenty of play time, walks in parks, cleaning up waste, and giving meds if needed. Also, I’ll bring my own air mattress if you wish me to spend the night house sitting your pet. Also, for your information, I am actively seeking a part-time job, so I won’t be available, as a house sitter, to stay in your home all day considering I’ll need to work and such. But I will spend the nights at your place making sure your pet is cared for by all means necessary. I am working on getting another part-time job to make ends meet, but I can provide a flexible schedule to ensure your pets gets the best service when I am needed for help. As a house sitter, I won’t be available to stay in the house with your pet all day; but will still spend the nights there taking care of your pet. I am unable to provide service to have your pet stay at my place. My backyard is too small for starters. And most importantly, the walls and fence are not built properly meaning you dog might be at risk of digging out.
About: I have taken care of dogs since I was 6 when I got my first furry friend. Since then, I have rescued 2 more! I’m a post-grad girl currently shopping in the job market. I have a lot of free time, so I am flexible with hours! I am a little busy after 4 pm, but feel free to contact me anyway! I have experience working with dogs of all sorts from my experience volunteering at the local humane society. I also have 3 dogs of my own! They are all different and have different needs. I will be very careful & loving with your pets to make sure they are comfortable every step of the way. I am detail-oriented, so I will probably read any instructions 3 times over. You are safe with me! Disclaimer: I am not a professional trainer. I do work best with medium to small dogs

Big breeds such as German Shepherds, American Akitas, Pitbulls & small breeds like dachshund, chihuahuas & poodles. My experience in caring for these breeds has been from my own pets, & caring for family and friends pups. Just as much as I loved their pups & my own i’d do the same with your beloved pups! I currently work full time, but I am able to walk/ pet sit your pup after work or on the weekends. They will get the best care possible! I live in an apartment, but on the weekend and when I am home after work they get two walks before bed and several walks throughout the day when I’m home on the weekends.
