“We have a long-haired Persian Himalayan cat who requires special care. This was our first time using a sitter and the Rover app, and we were very nervous since we were leaving for three weeks on the other side of the country. Erica was one of the first to respond to my message, and right away she put me at ease. I really appreciated her initiative to meet us and our cat beforehand. She was always punctual and friendly, carefully listened to all the details we shared, and followed the detailed instructions I had written about our cat’s habits and needs. Our cat is very timid but also affectionate and loving. It took Erica about five days to earn her trust. After that, she played with her, cleaned the litter box, refreshed the water, gave probiotics, brushed her fur, and wiped her eyes - everything was done with great care. At first, she checked in with us about some steps, but soon everything ran smoothly. Every visit included lots of photos, occasional videos, and a short description of how things went. We knew we had made the right choice leaving our cat in her care, and our little one was clearly content. We will definitely reach out to Erica again for our next vacation.”

I raised a lamb, goat, and a guide dog in high school and personally, I have owned a Cavachon, and a Labrador. A few years ago I began to work from home, and I thought that it would be the perfect time to begin to foster and help dogs in need. I started fostering various dogs with SNIPSA(a dog/cat rescue organization) from timid adult dogs to playful puppies to litters of puppies(8+pups at a time), and I really enjoyed it! Now over a year later, I have hosted over 200 different dogs! I would love to take care of your fur babies and pamper them while you are away! I am home all day, so they will get lots of attention and potty breaks as frequently as needed. I also have two daughters who are 18 and 20 years old, who love dogs and will take the pups on multiple walks daily as well as play with them and love on them. I have been dog walking/sitting for a few years now through another app. I do have a Monday - Friday job from 8-5. It can be flexible if need to be. I do work remotely sometimes. Most weekends I am just at home but if I am out I will let you know ahead of time. I live in an 2 bedroom apartment and I do have a balcony that I let my cats hang out at. It is fenced off so no animal should be able to get out. I’m also on the 2nd floor. There is a huge grass area behind my place where I see people play with their dogs and let the roam around.

“Performed an initial visit so dogs can become acclimated to environment and anyone in her family are very friendly. Her elderly dogs are very patient. Reserved Annie’s services for six days during new years and she did a wonderful job with updating us daily with pictures and checking in to make sure certain behaviors were normal versus anxiety. She really put an effort in making sure the dogs are comfortable.”
