About: I've been taking care of animals since I was 7. My dad got me my first dog, Biggs, and a cat, Wedge. They were the light of my life and I spent all my time training them, loving them, and learning from them. Since then, I've taken care of all types of dogs and cats, big, small, shy, excitable, young, old, etc. I have experience with puppies and kittens as young as 4 weeks, as well as elderly animals well into the double digits. I have done a lot of research on animals out of both passion and love, and personally saved one of my family members puppies when I was petsitting and noticed he was sick. I am not squeamish, and I empathize strongly with the animals I care for. I've never met one that I disliked, or that disliked me. I've always been popular with my friends and family's pets. I take care of any animal as if they were my own. I'm in college and working part time as a server, but my availability is widely open. Most of my classes are online, which gives me plenty of free time. I always make sure to follow instructions, no matter how tedious or specific, because every pet is unique and I believe each one was put there for a very good reason. I don't mind cleaning up around the home, even if it isn't a pet related mess, and I always try to be as unobtrusive and non threatening as possible when first alone with someones pet. Monty hates thunderstorms and barks incessantly when they are happening, and as luck would have a severe storm passed through while she was boarding him. “Highly recommend 10 out of 10. I was rushed to the hospital last minute and she only had a few hours notice that I needed a sitter and was happy to step up for a whopping 4 days! She kept me updated and coordinated with my son very easily with the chaos of my being hospitalized. I cannot thank her and her family enough for opening their home to my beloved blitz. She insured he ate well, he had a great time and her fenced in backyard and he even got some social time with her daughter and a friends chihuahua. He really had a great time at his doggy vacation. My dog had no signs of stress and we had a great ride home and he settled right back in without any incident. Excellent doggy caregiver!”
