About: I grew up in a home that had a lot of pets & am comfortable with different animals. We had dogs, cats, birds, fish, mice, a rat, chameleons, rabbits & turtles. I was taught to love & respect animals. My belief is that pets are important family members & deserve TLC. I currently have 2 senior cats & a betta fish. My oldest cat is 17 & I have had her from 6 weeks old & she is still going strong. I have traveled by plane multiple times to do long term pet sitting for people because they trusted me in their home. I follow caregiver recipes & am willing to cook special dietary meals for dogs & cats while home sitting. I have thrown fur babies birthday parties with hats, presents & birthday “cake.” I send daily photos & videos so you have peace of mind that your fur baby is happy & healthy in your absence. I go the extra mile to take care of furry family members while they’re in my care. I have a small home based business, so I have the flexibility to give to your family member the time & attention they need. I start my day early. I believe in daily walks for active dogs, scooping litter boxes daily & set meal & snack times. Play & affection is an important part of animal enrichment so we will have lots of play time & snuggling. We will send you pictures & I am also willing to FT so you can have a quick chat with your fur baby. All animals need attention, care & play to truly thrive. Your family member will be welcome & treated like extended family while they are with me. I have extensive experience with animals & know how to respect their personal boundaries & when to give attention. I like to keep things tidy & am punctual. I have no problem vacuuming daily for medium or long hair breeds. I do scheduled feedings, walks for active dogs, daily litter box cleaning, snuggles & pets, grooming & playtime for pets to be healthy & happy. I will send pics & videos as often as you request & will FT weekly while your fur baby is in my care. I am happy to care for your pet and home as if it were my own.

“Katie, her wife, and their three four-legged assistants are such an amazing team! I can be a helicopter pawrent but I knew that my pup was in safe, knowledgeable, and loving hands off the bat. Katie sent photos throughout the service and my pup was having tons of fun all the way until pick-up. They have a large yard for the pups to sunbathe in and run around. We spoke at the end of the service and they gave me a run down of how everything went and I greatly appreciated that especially since it helps me get to know how my pup is while I’m away. Overall, my pup had a great time and I had a peace of mind while I was away from him. They are the sweetest humans and pups!”

Before Melody, Pyper was terrified to go to sitters and leaving her was always a struggle. After day 2 of daycare with Melody, Pyper would run into her house, tail wagging, and get right to playing with her dogs. I cannot recommend her enough!”

About: I have taken care of puppies since I was a little girl. My parents raised Dachshunds so there were always puppies. I have had dogs myself since then, sometimes having two or three at a time. Neighbors, family and friends have asked me to take care of their dogs, boarding them, bathing them and taking them for walks. I have even cut some of their nails at times. Their animals have always happy to come to my house to visit, get treats, and to just get attention. I am a retired school teacher and am recently widowed, so I live alone with my little dog. I have plenty of time to care and love for more dogs I have a large fenced yard and patio for your dog to run and play ball or share toys with my little 4 year old Miniature Dachshund, Lucy. There is also time for cuddling and relaxing.

About: I've been working with animals for the past 5 Years! I started as a dog daycare attendant for a year where I learned how to read dog body language and behavior as well as how to handle emergency situations with dogs. I then became a full time pet sitter on my own and would watch all kinds of animals from household reptiles, small animals, cat, and of course dogs! After 1 year of this I switched to part time sitter to become a full time dog trainer! I trained for a year before becoming a manager at a pet hotel. I love my job to this day and still care for dogs and cats at my current job! I'm currently a stay at home mom for my babies so I am always home a ready to provide care! I usually (as weather permits of course) take a morning walk between 8-10am with my dog and my boarding friends, hang out around the house and backyard until our evening walk before bed around 8-10pm after the sun is down! I am constantly boarding dogs in my home so I do have extra crates if needed otherwise I only have 1 dog of my own who is a St. Bernard and is pretty lazy so he will be there to keep my boarding dogs company but also knows to nap if the other dogs need a break from playing. When I go to clients homes I always find a way to occupy my time with my clients and keep my attention on those animals!
About: I used to have a dog in the past but I moved out of state. I give a lot of attention to animals and I love to take a long walk with dogs. I'm currently working part time. I have fenced yard for the dog to run and play. Quiet street. I have security cameras. I have water filter to protect dog's skins

About: I'm new to Rover but NOT new to watching/caring for animals! I've taken care of animals for a long time. I grew up on a farm, and did chores for the chickens, sheep, horses, and of course, dogs! I now pet sit for friends and colleagues' cats and dogs. My husband and I don't have my own animals right now, so we enjoy getting to take care of other people's fur babies. I currently work part time, so I have plenty of time to spend with your pets! I like to know your expectations, and make sure you and your pet get exactly what you need! I have watched dogs in my apartment on multiple occasions. The apartment complex is dog friendly, with doggie bags on the sidewalk and a nice little dog park as well!
About: Animals sense I'm a big momma, and trust me, I have my own 3 beautiful dogs and want to help others who may not have the extra time to be a friend in need. I am a full time at home mom of teenagers and like to volunteer to help my community. I also homeschool so I'm flexible to change schedules. I prefer letting pets be a guide, my experience is most like their home and routine so I let the pet take it's time on their turf to trust and feel safe.
About: I have experience with pet sitting a variety of pets. I understand the importance of building trust with a pet to make them comfortable. I enjoy walks and playtime! I recently moved back from South Korea. I have a lot free time daily. I am an active member of a dance club. So, I have an hour dance class each evening, except the weekends. I make sure to always keep an eye on pets, especially when outside for potty time. I can care and adapt to an owner's needs. I understand and appreciate when owner's provide detailed lists or instructions for care.
