About: Hello! I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 12. From my 4 childhood pups I took care of, to my happy go lucky pup I have now, I’m well versed in feeding, walking, playing with, administering meds and many other needs your pet may need. :-) I currently work full time 0900- 230 Monday through Friday. My schedule is pretty flexible. I love to play with and love on my pet and will do the same for yours. I’m available weekends all day, and weekdays after 3. About: I have taken care of puppies since I was a little girl. My parents raised Dachshunds so there were always puppies. I have had dogs myself since then, sometimes having two or three at a time. Neighbors, family and friends have asked me to take care of their dogs, boarding them, bathing them and taking them for walks. I have even cut some of their nails at times. Their animals have always happy to come to my house to visit, get treats, and to just get attention. I am a retired school teacher and am recently widowed, so I live alone with my little dog. About: I have been an ongoing volunteer at the Animal Defense League of San Antonio since I was about 9 y/o, taking the dogs on walks and socializing the cats and kittens. I have thorough knowledge and experience with raising and fostering kittens, as well as dogs just under 1y/o. I've owned and fostered cats and dogs at varying life stages, throughout my entire life as well. I am well experienced and knowledgeable in animal care and the handling of a myriad of pets and wildlife. While currently also shadowing a very experienced and accredited dog trainer, I am definitely confident in my ability to provide extra care and love for your sweet, fur-babies. Currently, I am in-between jobs, so I as long as I have about a day's heads-up, I'm usually free pretty much any day to care for you furry friend. I perfer to start my work day around afternoon to late afternoon, though morning time isn't a deal-breaker. I want your pet to experience the least amount of stress possible (especially during the first couple visits), so I try to stick to their daily routine as much as I can. For walks, I am quite comfortable walking bigger dogs that may come across as a lot to handle, despite being of a smaller stature. I have experience with training arduous or physically demanding dogs to walk beautifully on the leash also. As for drop-in visits and sitting, I will always stick to the schedule you provide and the safety and well-being of your pet will always be my top priority.

About: I've been working with animals for the past 5 Years! I started as a dog daycare attendant for a year where I learned how to read dog body language and behavior as well as how to handle emergency situations with dogs. I then became a full time pet sitter on my own and would watch all kinds of animals from household reptiles, small animals, cat, and of course dogs! After 1 year of this I switched to part time sitter to become a full time dog trainer! I trained for a year before becoming a manager at a pet hotel. “Karen was a cheerful & fantastic sitter for our doggo over the long holiday! Her dog Sadie is so cute and sweet and Vinter got along just great! They became best buddies and I know Vinter will miss her! Karen was attentive to our dogs grooming needs and maintained his regular ear cleaning and made sure he had daily exercise and outdoor time in her large fenced-in backyard. Karen made sure Vinter was comfortable in her home and gave him lots of snuggles and attention and sent daily photos and updates so we knew our boy was well cared for and content while we were away. Vinter is looking forward to his next dog-cation in a beautiful and loving home.”
