“Here's the thing...Mandy is awesome! She wanted to do a Meet and Greet with our pup, before setting up a walking appointment. Our Border Collie is a shy girl when it comes to strangers. Mandy came in and sat on the floor, being patient and letting our dog come to her. After maybe 2 minutes our pup was best friends with her lol. Our pup kept getting Mandy to play tug, and throw her toy. It was so funny and cute. She didn't want to just take our money. She wanted to make sure she was a good fit for our dog, before committing to a walk. That's pretty cool. (I have a photos of the fees rover takes out on my gallery) I care for my own dogs, she is a 6 years old American stafforshire terrier. I feed her, take her to the dog park, walk her, bathe her, and overall care for her. I make sure the dogs I’m caring for are let out when needed, I play with them as much as I can, and I feed them when they are scheduled to be fed. I love playing with dogs so I’d play with them and take them out on walks.

We met up with her prior to their stay to let her and introduce the dogs to her, which made me feel even more comfortable knowing the person they were staying with on a more personal level. She also went to the store to get him more broccoli (his favorite snack). My dog was able to sleep in bed with her and she sent me videos of him playing with her dog Chance! I was very thankful to see how comfortable my dog was when he stayed with Mollie and Chance and I would absolutely use her services again in the future.”
About: Animals have been a big part of my life for over 20 years. I currently have two dogs that I raised from puppies, so I understand the patience, consistency, and attention that great pet care requires. I treat every pet like family and always aim to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I currently work as a freelance software developer, so I have a flexible schedule with open availability for pet care. This gives me the ability to provide reliable, consistent care and be available for walks, drop-ins, and other pet care needs throughout the week. During walks and drop-ins, I prioritize safety by using secure leashing practices, monitoring the environment, and making sure pets have fresh water and plenty of attention. I also provide regular updates with photos so owners know their pets are being well cared for. My goal is to make each visit stress-free and enjoyable while treating every pet like my own.
