“Here's the thing...Mandy is awesome! She wanted to do a Meet and Greet with our pup, before setting up a walking appointment. Our Border Collie is a shy girl when it comes to strangers. Mandy came in and sat on the floor, being patient and letting our dog come to her. After maybe 2 minutes our pup was best friends with her lol. Our pup kept getting Mandy to play tug, and throw her toy. It was so funny and cute. She didn't want to just take our money. She wanted to make sure she was a good fit for our dog, before committing to a walk. That's pretty cool. About: I’ve been taking care of animals since I was a kid. I grew up with big dogs- Rottweilers, blue heelers and pit bulls. Over the 2022 summer, I potty trained 2 Great Dane puppies, I also taught them how to sit, stay, and overall manners. I love animals and truly enjoy having them around. I have one in person college class on Monday and Wednesday from 10-12. I prefer to do payments privately due to Rover taking 20% of profits. WHEN PAYING PRIVATELY: it’s 30 per night, additional dogs it’s $18 (per dog), For cats it’s $10 per night, each cat is additional $7 dollars. (I have a photos of the fees rover takes out on my gallery) I care for my own dogs, she is a 6 years old American stafforshire terrier. I feed her, take her to the dog park, walk her, bathe her, and overall care for her. I also have 2 dogs and 2 cats with my bf that I take care of as well. I make sure the dogs I’m caring for are let out when needed, I play with them as much as I can, and I feed them when they are scheduled to be fed. I love playing with dogs so I’d play with them and take them out on walks.

I enjoy hiking and taking dogs on outings on my days off, and checking in on kitties (feeding, scooping litter boxes, playing and cuddling) in the mornings and evenings! I can offer 30 minute dog walks as well. I am available between 7am-2pm Monday-Friday for walks, check ins, potty breaks, or play time. I am also available to water plants and feed fish. I am available after 2pm if the pets are safe around small children. I try to be as consistent with pets routines as possible. I am happy to follow whatever house rules and schedules within reason. I always respect the homes I enter and try to come in and out quietly.

About: What sets me apart is that I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals. I'm not just there to feed them and leave. I like getting to know their personality, whether they're playful, shy, energetic. I myself have 2 fur babies both are dachshund and have experience with them and treat every other pet as my own. I have a flexible schedule, so I'm able to dedicate time each day to walks, playtime, feeding, and making sure pets get the attention they need.
