About: I've been a lifelong dog owner and have cared for dogs most of my life. I've frequently dog-sat for friends and family over the years, including feeding, walking, administering medications when needed and providing lots of attention and playtime. I work from home full-time, so your dog will receive plenty of supervision, attention, and companionship throughout the day. My partner is retired and also home most of the time, so there is almost always someone here with the pets. Because of this, dogs are rarely left alone and get lots of care, playtime, and comfort during their stay. Dogs under 40 lbs. please. About: I’ve taken care of animals including dogs cats rabbits for friends throughout my military career. From kittens and puppies to senior animals. About: I can't remember a time I didn't have a pet, since childhood. My childhood dog's name was Wallstreet and our cat was Clara. My dog Leia is my first dog as an independent adult. I've had her for 10 years. I started a cleaning business since 2019 and my clientele grew from word of mouth from people I would house sit and pet sit for since 2016. During that time I also cared for a woman with dementia for two years, checking on her twice a day, cleaning, going on outings, and giving meds. I still have my cleaning business and am looking for a new side hustle to supplement my income. I love animals and people and have a lot of free time, so this just made sense! I hope I can help spoil and love on your pets while you can't. I have a completely open and flexible schedule. The only things I do on a regular basis are some zoom calls at 7 pm early in the week and a couple outings/errands a week for an hour or two. In my home, dogs would be walked around the beautiful hills and scenery in my neighborhood. I don't have a fenced in yard. Cats and dogs would have full reign of the apartment. Animals are allowed on furniture. Actually, I am lucky they share the couch with me.
