“1st-time using a service like "Rover." I will NEVER take our dog to a Boarding Facility IF I don't have to. Our dog is accustomed to a tranquil environment and was never kenneled. Imagine being in a loud facility, with barking dogs and caged for days (walking breaks provided, but, no freedom to roam.) I found Rover after boarding our dog 3 times. My 1st experience and I'm thrilled I did. You can filter to sitters who take 1 dog at a time, no children, etc. Ok about Amy: What a GEM! Communicative, Clean, genuinely Kind, and Professional. My husband and I live close to Amy (another plus,) but even if we moved 1 hour away we would still rebook with Amy as long as she's available. Upon pick-up our dog ran to us, but as we recapped with Amy and her husband our dog kept going to them too. I told her I was unsure if he would be happy to see us because he is living his best life at "Aunt Amy's" lol. I'm a "non-worrier," however, I didn't realize how much Amy's' consistent checked-in with photos and a couple of videos helped put my mind at ease, my soul at peace, and allowed me to fully enjoy my honeymoon without thinking too much about our dogs' wellbeing. “I am a basket case when it comes to leaving my dogs for vacation because I don't trust anyone to pet sit in my house or feel assured that they would take care of my dogs the way I would. I'm a big believer that pets are members of the family. Their comfort, their health, and minimizing their level of stress are important to my wife and I. In the past, whenever I make reservations for vacation, I expect them to be with my kids and NEVER IN A KENNEL OR FACILITY with other stressed out barking dogs. They are my babies!!! You know what I mean. Recently, we visited my daughter at her college dorm where dogs aren't allowed and I was distraught. Hence, this review. I need to give a big SHOUT OUT to Mary's pet services because MARY IS AMAZING. My dogs are welcomed into her home, an environment with a professional handler (i.e. Mary) plus interactive kids who love the dogs! About: I dont have any special skills at all I have a huge love for dogs and always have Im very patient with meeting new dogs and attentive to their attitude I am currently on medical leave from work and doing physical therapy throughout the week. Pet care is something I am able to do at any time during the day and week. About: I have had dogs since I was born, I was raised taking care of dogs. I love them so much and can’t wait to sit! I work a full time job, however it’s 4 days on, and 3 days off. The days I work I'm available evenings after 5:30. I currently don’t have any pets, but I have been raised taking care of animals. About: I’ve grown up with dogs since I was 4 and have been around many different types. I currently have cats of my own and have handled reptiles throughout my years as well. I have experience in bathing dogs from puppies to senior. I also have experience bathing kittens! I know some pets have special food and have to take medicine and I have hand fed pills to dogs and my cats. I currently have an open schedule so I have plenty of time to spend with your furry friend. I’m usually up by 9 am. The latest I can walk dogs is 7pm. Especially with it getting cold now I don’t recommend your furry friend to be outside too long. I’m also available for drop ins as well as overnight stays. I don’t currently have a home for pets to come to, so I will give an update whenever I have one. When I’m at a clients home first thing I do is make sure the pet is comfortable with me. I’m very patient with the animals so they can recognize I am a friend. After we establish a good connection of course I will give some loving (which will vary depending on the animal, as some don’t like being touched too much) I make sure food and water is full (if client wishes so) and precede with what the booking was for. (All bookings I will typically play with the pet and give attention. Older dogs I will relax with them rather than play if they don’t have the energy.) I always get at least 2-3 pictures during the bookings as well as a description of how the booking went at the end of it.

We have a fenced yard so your dogs can play in the backyard. We will also take your dog on walks around the neighborhood. Me and my husband work from home so we will be able to take your fur babies for potty breaks. They will also get lots of play time with us. We are home all day so your pets will be well taken care of. We can keep an eye on them and make sure they are having fun.
About: I grew up with dogs since I was seven years old. I’ve never not had a dog in my house. My first dog was when my grandmother surprised me on Valentine’s Day a little black poodle and I called her Sissy. I had her since I graduated in high school and she passed away. I was devastated because she was my childhood dog. I will never forget her. Now, I have a spunky blue heeler mix named Zendaya who is one years old. I like playing, walking, petting and being next to my dog. Plus, my two sons adore her. I have a hybrid schedule. M, W, F, I work from home. I take a 30 minute to an hour lunch break. I can make sure your pet has enough food and water. On Tues & Thurs, I’m in the office. After work, M-F, I have more time to walk the dog, make sure their water and food bowls are filled. I can play with your dog if he or she needs attention. On the weekends, my schedule varies. My kids have a soccer or football game. My husband and I play ultimate frisbee, go to church, spend time with our family or friends. I always take my dog out in the morning before work. I feed her twice a day. When I work from home, on my lunch breaks, I like to go on walks with my dog. When she needs something, she’ll come to me and give me a look or bark at me and I let her outside in my back yard. When I’m in the office twice a week, I let my dog out and keep her in her crate until my husband gets home from work. If he’s gone all day and not back earlier in the day, my mother-in-law will stop by to let her out. We don’t have a dog door, but I keep the back door open if the weather is nice. My family and I like to go to the dog park and let our dog play with other dogs or we take her on hikes.
About: I’ve been rescuing for 25+ years. For 15 of those years I exclusively rescued Great Danes. I currently have 3 dogs that I walk daily. I am looking to spend my days making new dog friends and helping make their parents lives a little easier by taking my new friends for walks and playtime. I am available for regular routine walks & playdates as well as standalone care when needed. I am available during the day and evening 6 days a week. I have 3 dogs of my own. About: When I take care of your fur baby I will try and stick to your normal routine with them as well as make sure they are not stressed or too upset that there mom and day are gone. We will play and go on walks and of course feed them! My goal is for your fur babies to feel completely comfortable and that they will warm up to me quickly. I have been around all troupes of dog and cats along with horses and farm animals so to say the least fur babies are my thing!! Feel free to reach out with any and all questions so I can make you feel comfortable about letting me take care of your fur baby!! I can’t wait! I work full time and I am in college. I do all of my college online so it gives me more flexibility to give your fur babies the attention they need and want. I tend to watch the pets at the owners home for a couple of reasons. One being I live in an apartment and it’s definitely not ideal for a pet. The second reason is if I watch them at their home they are more comfortable and less stressed and for them it’s just a friend coming to hang out with them.

Imagine being in a loud facility, with barking dogs and caged for days (walking breaks provided, but, no freedom to roam.) I found Rover after boarding our dog 3 times. “I am a basket case when it comes to leaving my dogs for vacation because I don't trust anyone to pet sit in my house or feel assured that they would take care of my dogs the way I would. I'm a big believer that pets are members of the family. Their comfort, their health, and minimizing their level of stress are important to my wife and I. “Can’t say enough about how wonderful Richard is! He helped me in a short notice pinch and was so kind. He took amazing care of my Maia, every picture and video showed her so happy with her tail wagging like crazy. He walked her often and loved on her like she was his own. If that wasn’t awesome enough he came to the rescue again when my flight was extremely delayed and kept Maia for an extra night. Richard is an excellent communicator with frequent updates so I was able to enjoy my holidays stress free. He has a heart of gold and I will definitely use him again. About: I grew up on a farm helping with animals often. I've always owned dogs and cats. I was a vet tech for 3 years. I have a dog door (it can be secured) and automatic waterer for your pet's convenience. I installed a metal gate to keep my runners from escaping out the front door. I am trained to give shots for the elderly family members. The days I work outside the house, I can meet you at 6:15 pm or later. I feed the dogs twice daily, but biscuits often. I am a homebody and I'm usually home all weekend. Your fur babies will be well loved. I have a 6-foot privacy fence, gate for the front door, dog door and an automatic water feeder. They are like family and can explore all they want. Please let me know in advance if a pet likes to lift his leg inside the house. I can provide doggy diapers.
