“I am a basket case when it comes to leaving my dogs for vacation because I don't trust anyone to pet sit in my house or feel assured that they would take care of my dogs the way I would. I'm a big believer that pets are members of the family. Their comfort, their health, and minimizing their level of stress are important to my wife and I. In the past, whenever I make reservations for vacation, I expect them to be with my kids and NEVER IN A KENNEL OR FACILITY with other stressed out barking dogs. They are my babies!!! You know what I mean. Recently, we visited my daughter at her college dorm where dogs aren't allowed and I was distraught. Hence, this review. I need to give a big SHOUT OUT to Mary's pet services because MARY IS AMAZING. My dogs are welcomed into her home, an environment with a professional handler (i.e. Mary) plus interactive kids who love the dogs! About: I have always been around dogs since I was young. I've owned three dogs of my own. I have worked with animals as a kennel tech, veterinary assistant and vet tech. I have experience taking care of senior dogs, young dogs, puppies. I have currently own a Belgian malinois who is a retired police dog, and I regularly work with him teaching him new skills as a working dog. I really enjoy working dogs and training them. I love being outdoors and getting down and dirty with my dogs swimming in the lake, I love bathing dogs and going for runs and walks. On Mondays, Thursdays, and fridays I go to my internship and the rest of the days of the week im able to care for pets. If you board your dog in my home they must be friendly with my dogs, since i have two. I dont mind if dogs are on the couch. I am comfortable with a variety of animals, including cats, birds, dogs, and hamsters. I enjoy taking breaks from studying to walk outside and I am fairly active. I am very attentive to dogs health and behavior. Having experience in the veterinary industry helps because I can pick up right away if there is something wrong. Im also able to read dog body language, and de escalate situations if a dog becomes distressed or anxious. I am familiar with a wide variety of leashes and harnesses. I also use lots of treats to help build trust with animals and direct dogs with positive reinforcement. If you board your pets at my home they must be dog friendly.

About: I have been pet sitting for family friends since I was 10 years old. “I am a basket case when it comes to leaving my dogs for vacation because I don't trust anyone to pet sit in my house or feel assured that they would take care of my dogs the way I would. I'm a big believer that pets are members of the family. Their comfort, their health, and minimizing their level of stress are important to my wife and I. In the past, whenever I make reservations for vacation, I expect them to be with my kids and NEVER IN A KENNEL OR FACILITY with other stressed out barking dogs. They are my babies!!! You know what I mean. Recently, we visited my daughter at her college dorm where dogs aren't allowed and I was distraught. Hence, this review. I need to give a big SHOUT OUT to Mary's pet services because MARY IS AMAZING. My dogs are welcomed into her home, an environment with a professional handler (i.e. Mary) plus interactive kids who love the dogs! I couldn't be happier leaving my babies with them again and at short notice. Also, the price was reasonable. Another rocking 5 stars for Mary's pet service. Under Mary's care, my pets were not only safe, but my mind was at ease (especially with my 17 yearly grandma dog). Priceless.”

About: I have always been around dogs since I was young. I've owned three dogs of my own. I have worked with animals as a kennel tech, veterinary assistant and vet tech. I have experience taking care of senior dogs, young dogs, puppies. I have currently own a Belgian malinois who is a retired police dog, and I regularly work with him teaching him new skills as a working dog. I really enjoy working dogs and training them. I love being outdoors and getting down and dirty with my dogs swimming in the lake, I love bathing dogs and going for runs and walks. I currently a masters level student finishing up my degree in counseling. Before going back to school I worked with dogs for many years. On Mondays, Thursdays, and fridays I go to my internship and the rest of the days of the week im able to care for pets. If you board your dog in my home they must be friendly with my dogs, since i have two. I dont mind if dogs are on the couch. I am comfortable with a variety of animals, including cats, birds, dogs, and hamsters. I enjoy taking breaks from studying to walk outside and I am fairly active. I am very attentive to dogs health and behavior. Having experience in the veterinary industry helps because I can pick up right away if there is something wrong. Im also able to read dog body language, and de escalate situations if a dog becomes distressed or anxious. I am familiar with a wide variety of leashes and harnesses. I also use lots of treats to help build trust with animals and direct dogs with positive reinforcement. If you board your pets at my home they must be dog friendly.

“Stacy is the best !! First she is very flexible as she even squeezed in days for me she was not available. And also with the pick up times. She will give you updates throughout the stay. She was worried that my pups weren’t eating and she was so kind to make them special meals just so they ate. And most importantly she will pamper you pups to the max so beware as they will enjoy her family’s love more than yours and may not want to come back lol. I swear my dogs came back cleaner than when I dropped them off at her’s. Don’t think twice when you need Stacy’s help. Her and her family are the sweetest. Thankyou Stacy !!!”

He is a shy dog that can take a bit to become comfortable and Haven did a wonderful job allowing him time to adjust while also keeping us updated on how he was doing while we were away. She was very good with following his needs and definitely cares about the wellbeing and happiness of the pets she takes care of! By the time we picked him up Oreo was fully comfortable and happy to be there!”
