About: Hello my name is Cayla. I’m from Houston, Tx and I've been an animal lover my whole life. I’ve raised other animals in FFA for my high school years while alson having other house hold pets within the years ( rabbit, turtle, dogs, and fish). I’m choosing to do Rover so I can build clientele and so I can expand my knowledge on dogs outside my pit bull and a few other breeds I’ve dealt with within my family and friends. Hopefully I’m someone you’ll love and trust around your home and your four-legged best friend. I do work from home and only work 4 days out the week so it's no hassle making sure everything and everyone is doing great. During the booking process I do ask for a routine so I can keep everything consistent. I do have doggie treats, extra blankets, training pads, and doggie toys I keep on stand by. In the morning I will open cages and let them move around freely aslong as im home and awake. If they need medication I have no problem giving it to them aswell, I do work from home so that will not be an issue.

About: I'm a veterinary technician, I have 20 yrs experience in taking care of dogs and cats. I am CPR certified and I can administer medications if needed. Besides my medical background as a animal lover, I can offer great companionship to your best friend while your gone. I currently have a 7 month old Australian shepherd who loves to play and can also offer friendship. I've been taking care of my friends and family's pets while they go on vacation since I was 19 yrs old. I'm confident in my ability to take care of dogs. I'm currently not working and staying home with our kids and animals. I walk our dog in the morning then hang out the rest of the day, my kids play with our dog. I live on 5 acres but we have fenced off an area behind our house for our dog and goats. I have a plastic kid pool to help them stay cool in the summer. My schedule is flexible, I'm almost always home. If weather permits, I enjoy going out for long hikes or going to parks/neighborhood for walks. ** Boarding & Housesitting - I'm available 7 days a week. The potty break/meal schedule is flexible on my end. They can go out often for potty breaks, to explore, fetch, and enjoy the sun as they please. Also, will provide outdoor play with engagement of other pups and can do some training as well. ** Housesitting - I will spend the nights with them. Sometimes I will be away for a few hours unless you instruct me for a specific time, such as how long it is ok to leave your pets alone, I will follow your preference. They are welcome to tag along for the ride if they enjoy car rides. -- During my free time I volunteer as a pet rescue member with Trapping, Rescue and Pet Recovery Service (TRAPRS), a non-profit organization. I have been with TRAPRS since they were founded in 2019. When I'm scheduled to pet sit, I will not be available to do a rescue. Only time I'll be away is if someone is able to secure an animal, Ill be out for a quick scan for microchip or if I'm scheduled to drop-in to visit other clients' homes. I know it can be stressful leaving your family member with a stranger, but you can be confident that your furbaby/ies will be treated as one of the family; given plenty of love, hugs, belly scratches, treats, play time and walks during their stay. I have a fenced yard for your pup(s) to explore, do their business, enjoy the fresh air & flirt with the sun, and play fetch. I will send photos and videos of your furbaby having a great time!
