I grew up with all kinds of dogs, from Miniature Poodles and Labs to four Dachshunds, so caring for dogs is nothing new to me. About: I’ve grown up around dogs and cats of all shapes and sizes ever since I was young, and as I got older, my love for them continued to grow. This passion was instrumental in deciding my future as I am currently studying at Texas A&M and finishing up my degree in Animal Science. I want to pursue a career in veterinary medicine and plan on applying to the Texas A&M Veterinary School in 2026. I have worked in two veterinary clinics, one of which was AHAA accredited and provided overnight boarding for both cats and dogs. When I was 14 my dog got into an accident so I had to feed him medication and mushed up dog food and oral pills. I’ve had 3 German shepherds and 2 pit bulls so I can handle big dogs and strong dogs. I have a car so I'm able to do pick up and drop off. I'm willing to negotiate on pricing so don't be afraid to reach out! I’m currently working from home so I don’t leave my house unless it’s to walk my dog or get food. And when I’m not here (which rarely happens) my roommates are here to care for the dogs and apartment. I’m able to give baths and brush their fur. I don’t know how to cut nails but I can file them down. I let my dogs sleep in the same room as me so they won’t be separated throughout the night in case they have separation anxiety unless they aren’t potty trained.

About: I’ve grown up with pets and taken care of friends and family’s animals. My dogs in particular had health issues, such as diabetes, that taught me a deeper level of animal care. With that, I learned how to administer insulin injections and respond to seizures. My job is flexible during the week, so I can adjust my hours to your pets needs! I do not have work or any other regular obligations during the weekend, too. I can bring the pet to my home where I live with my sister. I do not have a backyard, but I do have parks I can take them to or paths to walk on. Taking care of pets at the owners house is an option. In the past, I have stayed overnight at the owners house since their dogs felt uneasy being alone at night. Overall, I am flexible with what you and your pet are comfortable with.
