About: I have been responsible for caring for animals my entire life, and caring for pets has always been something I truly enjoy. I volunteered at an animal shelter when I was just 12 years old, and growing up, my family always had dogs, horses, and livestock. I learned early on that animals depend on us for their care, safety, exercise, and companionship. As an adult, we have had several family pets, all of whom remained part of our family for their entire lives. One of our dogs was a diabetic Chesapeake Retriever who required daily insulin, which taught me the importance of being consistent, attentive, and comfortable with special care needs. I currently live at a lake house situated on three lots, giving dogs plenty of room to run, explore, and play. I have two rescue dogs of my own—a Lab mix who has been with us for ten years and a one-year-old Mountain Cur mix. My home has two floors with separate entrances, which allows me to safely and easily separate dogs if they need their own space or don’t get along. I enjoy taking my dogs on leash walks down to the lake and around the neighborhood, and I am always careful to clean up after them. I have also cared for my grand-dog in Queens, so I am very familiar with the responsibilities that come with caring for someone else’s beloved pet, including keeping their space clean and comfortable. Most importantly, I don’t see caring for dogs as simply a responsibility—I genuinely love spending time with them. I enjoy playing with dogs, giving them attention and affection, taking them for walks, and making sure they feel happy, safe, and loved while they are in my care. I understand that leaving a pet with someone is a big decision, and I would treat every dog entrusted to me as I would my own. I am retired so my availability is wide open. I have plenty of room both inside and outside for your pet. I live with an adult son so my dogs are cared for if i commit to sitting at your home. I have three lots so plenty of room for dogs to play. It is not fenced so I will always be with your dog whenever outside. I live in a rural neighborhood so I can walk dogs on a leash throughout the neighborhood including down to the lake.
“Tisha was great; they have a house-full of friendly dogs who seemed to make fast friends with our two dogs. She was very attentive and cautious at first to make sure there wouldn't be any issues, and conscientious about making us feel comfortable with our dogs being there. Our dogs seemed to have a great time, and slept for almost a full 24 hours straight when we got back, so I know they got some good exercise. We will definitely look to Tisha again.”
About: My first job was walking dogs back in middle school! I also stayed a couple nights at a family friend’s house in order to pet sit while they’re on vacation. I also have a pit of my own named eli, and a bunny named coco :)) I just recently started college, and it’s been a little hard finding a job, so my availability is pretty open, I only have a couple classes throughout the days :)) My dog roams around the house. He’s very friendly and loves to make doggy friends. Since he is a little bigger, small dogs might be intimidated, but he’s very gentle, and if needed, there’s a room we lock our dog in when there’s company :)

About: As a pet owner, sitter, falconer, and former zoo keeper, a majority of my life revolves around animals. Their proper care and well being is of the utmost importance to me. “Veloria took really good care of my dog, despite him being still young and not fully trained. I think he had the home environment there that he’s used to, he could chill out on the couches and play with their dog. I felt very calm and safe leaving him there! She and her husband updated me regularly on how my was doing, which made the separation much easier (for me). She even gave him a bath and washed his clothes before giving him back!? All in all, a great stay for my dog!”
About: Because I’m easily distracted by dogs it’s easy for me to care for them! While this is my first time on Rover I don’t have glowing reviews…yet ! But rest assured I am able to use the experience that having my own doggy has given me. I have taken care of Chewy an 11year old Shih Tzu since he was re homed in 2015. He keeps me on my toes with multiple walks a day treats and he has me fetch his toys for him lol I also am a very proud grandma of 5 grand doggy’s - at times over the past 5 years my adult children trusted me take care of their family dogs while out of town. If you’re looking for a place where your doggy will be cared for and doted on, this is it! I’m currently a school bus driver and off for the summer so it’s easy to schedule at this time. And when school starts I’m still available because I make it a priority to come home to take care of my own dog in between routes where we get our walks in. I have a doggy door that connects to patio leads to a fully fenced in back yard which makes it very easy to have my pet and other dogs go outside for some fresh air and handle their business.

Im currently takinga nab at dog training. I also have two cats that were former strays. I grew up with a variety of animals, fish, mice, rabbits and I have experience with guinea pigs and horses, goats, and sheep. Im currently working part-time at Crunch Fitness in Conroe for 4 hours at a time. And I nanny/pet sit twice a week for 8hrs. I do school 2 days of the week for 4 hours as well. My shedule will constantly vary, but regardless majority of the time it is open. With my current pet-sitting gig and watch 3 dogs along with a little kid and those dogs will often get into some mischief. I always end up cleaning up some yucky mess one way or another. I am not one to yell at dogs or cats becuase thats not the way the learn. With a new puppy I understand the paitence associated with training as well as bond building.

I have an apple head chihuahua (7 years old) and 2 GSD-Malinois puppies that are 5 months old. I'm the sitter that sends consistent pictures, updates, and pays 24/7 attention to your babies. My older chihuahua is very low maintenance, but my GSD-Malinois puppies are extremely needy. When I was 14 my dog got into an accident so I had to feed him medication and mushed up dog food and oral pills. I’ve had 3 German shepherds and 2 pit bulls so I can handle big dogs and strong dogs. I have a car so I'm able to do pick up and drop off. I'm willing to negotiate on pricing so don't be afraid to reach out! I’m currently working from home so I don’t leave my house unless it’s to walk my dog or get food. And when I’m not here (which rarely happens) my roommates are here to care for the dogs and apartment. I’m able to give baths and brush their fur. I don’t know how to cut nails but I can file them down. I let my dogs sleep in the same room as me so they won’t be separated throughout the night in case they have separation anxiety unless they aren’t potty trained.

We're very active, outside every 2 hours at least, tennis balls, tug-o-war, treat training, dog walks, and hug and kisses time. Depends on the age, but, first and foremost, is check the floor and keep my belongings out of reach. Give the pets space and time to adjust, offer some treats, and follow your pet's lead- both in my home or yours. Everything revolves around the baby.

About: I have been responsible for caring for animals my entire life, and caring for pets has always been something I truly enjoy. I volunteered at an animal shelter when I was just 12 years old, and growing up, my family always had dogs, horses, and livestock. I learned early on that animals depend on us for their care, safety, exercise, and companionship. As an adult, we have had several family pets, all of whom remained part of our family for their entire lives. One of our dogs was a diabetic Chesapeake Retriever who required daily insulin, which taught me the importance of being consistent, attentive, and comfortable with special care needs. I currently live at a lake house situated on three lots, giving dogs plenty of room to run, explore, and play. I have two rescue dogs of my own—a Lab mix who has been with us for ten years and a one-year-old Mountain Cur mix. My home has two floors with separate entrances, which allows me to safely and easily separate dogs if they need their own space or don’t get along. I enjoy taking my dogs on leash walks down to the lake and around the neighborhood, and I am always careful to clean up after them. I have also cared for my grand-dog in Queens, so I am very familiar with the responsibilities that come with caring for someone else’s beloved pet, including keeping their space clean and comfortable. Most importantly, I don’t see caring for dogs as simply a responsibility—I genuinely love spending time with them. I enjoy playing with dogs, giving them attention and affection, taking them for walks, and making sure they feel happy, safe, and loved while they are in my care. I understand that leaving a pet with someone is a big decision, and I would treat every dog entrusted to me as I would my own. I am retired so my availability is wide open. I have plenty of room both inside and outside for your pet. I live with an adult son so my dogs are cared for if i commit to sitting at your home. I have three lots so plenty of room for dogs to play. It is not fenced so I will always be with your dog whenever outside. I live in a rural neighborhood so I can walk dogs on a leash throughout the neighborhood including down to the lake.
“Tisha was great; they have a house-full of friendly dogs who seemed to make fast friends with our two dogs. She was very attentive and cautious at first to make sure there wouldn't be any issues, and conscientious about making us feel comfortable with our dogs being there. Our dogs seemed to have a great time, and slept for almost a full 24 hours straight when we got back, so I know they got some good exercise. We will definitely look to Tisha again.”
About: My first job was walking dogs back in middle school! I also stayed a couple nights at a family friend’s house in order to pet sit while they’re on vacation. I also have a pit of my own named eli, and a bunny named coco :)) I just recently started college, and it’s been a little hard finding a job, so my availability is pretty open, I only have a couple classes throughout the days :)) My dog roams around the house. He’s very friendly and loves to make doggy friends. Since he is a little bigger, small dogs might be intimidated, but he’s very gentle, and if needed, there’s a room we lock our dog in when there’s company :)

“Wendi did a great job with my dog. This was my first time using a service and everything went very smoothly. Wendi sent pictures every day and a couple videos as well as text updates. It was obvious my dog was having a great time. I was even concerned he wouldn't want to come home. To top it all off she, after checking with me to see if it was OK, gave my dog a bath before I picked him up. I would absolutely recommend Wendi.”
About: As a pet owner, sitter, falconer, and former zoo keeper, a majority of my life revolves around animals. Their proper care and well being is of the utmost importance to me. I have been pet sitting just over ten years, while maintaining other jobs but am now pursuing this full time as a means to help support my growing family. In my free time I offer free snake relocation services; as well as reptile and falconry/raptor education events. I have helped whelp litters, bottle feed, tube feed, hand feed (birds). I’m experienced in medication administration, as well as abiding by special diet restrictions. I maintain a federal falconry license as well as a state sub-permit for wildlife rehab. I’ve cared for everything from birds to reptiles, exotic mammals, wildlife to house pets! There are few animals I’m uncomfortable with and for that reason my rates are adjustable for those with special circumstances! I’ve always felt I had a special bond with animals and I’d love to provide your pet with the same love, care and attention I would provide my own. Pet care is a daily part of my life! Fortunately, I livewoth my fiancee who’s just as passionate about animals and am able to leave my own animals with him when I’m working. Animals have been my whole life and I’m in no hurry to change that. I will always show animals the same love, attention, respect and care that I would show my own personal pets. “Veloria took really good care of my dog, despite him being still young and not fully trained. I think he had the home environment there that he’s used to, he could chill out on the couches and play with their dog. I felt very calm and safe leaving him there! She and her husband updated me regularly on how my was doing, which made the separation much easier (for me). She even gave him a bath and washed his clothes before giving him back!? All in all, a great stay for my dog!”
About: Because I’m easily distracted by dogs it’s easy for me to care for them! While this is my first time on Rover I don’t have glowing reviews…yet ! But rest assured I am able to use the experience that having my own doggy has given me. I have taken care of Chewy an 11year old Shih Tzu since he was re homed in 2015. He keeps me on my toes with multiple walks a day treats and he has me fetch his toys for him lol I also am a very proud grandma of 5 grand doggy’s - at times over the past 5 years my adult children trusted me take care of their family dogs while out of town. If you’re looking for a place where your doggy will be cared for and doted on, this is it! I’m currently a school bus driver and off for the summer so it’s easy to schedule at this time. And when school starts I’m still available because I make it a priority to come home to take care of my own dog in between routes where we get our walks in. I have a doggy door that connects to patio leads to a fully fenced in back yard which makes it very easy to have my pet and other dogs go outside for some fresh air and handle their business.
