She did a house visit ahead of time, and my very elusive cat came up to her right away and within minutes she was petting him. I didn't know how he would do being outdoors a couple of days indoors a couple of days, but she was able to get him to come out from underneath the bed finally after many many minutes of coaxing. She was able to get him to go outside, and then to go back inside several times. I was concerned of how he would do, but she has magic powers, that's all I can say! My dog Ginger went to stay at her house. Mary sent me updates and pictures to show me that Ginger was relaxed and doing just fine. As a matter of fact, I was surprised when I went to pick Ginger up when I got back. I figured she'd be all excited to see me and everything, but she was very calm, and went straight to Mary one last time for goodbye hugs and just rubs. About: I had dogs for the last 10 years. I have large breed dogs so can handle crazy personalities. I have volunteered and fostered dogs so know how to acclimate and have them warm up to new people. I have experience with administering medication to dogs as well. I’m currently working remote part time from home so can move things around easily to take care of pets. Have availability open any day or night. I can follow directions and have no problem taking them on dog walks, feeding, cleaning up after them, or administering any medicine they might need.

About: I have grown up around all kinds of animals, and have personally owned dogs, cats, hamsters, horses, chicken, goats, and Guinea pigs! I have many people in my hometown who have trusted me to care for their animals while out of town, or just for a day while they are at work! I am currently a student at ETAMU, but have gaps in my daily class schedule to go home to play with pups and let them potty! Once done with classes I’ll be home the rest of the day, so your pet will never be alone for more than 2 hours! I have 3 very friendly dogs, one who is very laid back, and the other 2 who will be so overjoyed to play with your pet! I have a fenced in yard, but still supervise animals to ensure they are going potty, as well as feed everyone separately so they get their own food. We have plenty of toys of all kinds!

About: I used to take care and breed dogs with my family when I was younger. Then I began watching friends and families dogs as I got older. I love all animals but especially dogs. I am a junior here at Oklahoma State studying to become a veterinarian. I also have two dogs of my own. Snoopy is a bernidoodle and Mocha is a mutt. They are both rescue dogs. I have two dogs of my own as previously mentioned and I am in college. However, my dogs and I go to the park at least once a day and we go on walks in the morning. In between classes I come home to let them potty and they free roam with feed and water when I am gone. My dogs get baths once or twice a week. They free roam with food and eat when they please. They have plenty of toys to play with and I have two crates here in case I need to crate them.
About: I have always had a plethora of animals around me since I was a little girl...dogs,cats,horses,snakes,hamsters, you name it! I love animals and enjoy there company, it always brightens my day to see a happy, healthy dog/cat having a walk in the park or swimming at the lake, my animals are spoiled brats! I have administered medications for many types of scenarios. I am off on weekends but I work 7-2 weekdays until summer....so I could watch or check on your babies anytime after that, we have 3 acres, a doggie door in the house so your babies can hangout and run around all day I do have 2 dogs and 3 cats of my own, the dogs are older so they just hangout for the most part these days. I do also have 2 sons who's love for animals is just as much as mine.

She did a house visit ahead of time, and my very elusive cat came up to her right away and within minutes she was petting him. I didn't know how he would do being outdoors a couple of days indoors a couple of days, but she was able to get him to come out from underneath the bed finally after many many minutes of coaxing. She was able to get him to go outside, and then to go back inside several times. I was concerned of how he would do, but she has magic powers, that's all I can say! My dog Ginger went to stay at her house. Mary sent me updates and pictures to show me that Ginger was relaxed and doing just fine. As a matter of fact, I was surprised when I went to pick Ginger up when I got back. “This was my first-time using Rover to find someone to watch my Yorkie, Maxcee. I was a little hesitant at first because the last, and only, time we boarded her in a traditional kennel over a weekend was not a good experience due to her getting nervous around so many animals/larger dogs, some were aggressive at times. Since we had a longer vacation already scheduled, we decided to try and find an in-home dog sitter with experience that offered a smaller, more intimate setting for our fur baby. We looked on Rover and I came across Lisa and David's profile. They had very good "verified" reviews which was important to me but what also stuck out to me was that they only kept 2 dogs at a time which was very important as well. We decided to setup a meet and greet, and it went very well. Lisa and David were warm and inviting to us and our fur babies (my son also boarded his Morkie, Lola, at the same time so they could be together since he also needed a sitter for our trip, and it worked out perfect). The meet and greet with Maxcee and Lola went very well. During their stay Lisa was very attentive and caring to Maxcee (and Lola) and gave them both the time and attention they needed to feel comfortable and at ease. My baby girl can be a picky eater so there were a few times where Lisa reached out to me to let me know what was going on and how she was doing. We eventually figured it out and she was able to get her to eat some (thank you, Lisa, for your patience with Maxcee and for even feeding her at times to make sure she ate something). Lisa provided outside time in the sun which Max loves and she had plenty of play time with Lola which she also loves! She also provided lots of pictures each day, which I loved, showing what Maxcee was up to, and it put my mind at ease seeing how well she was adjusting while I was gone. I would definitely recommend Lisa and David for your dog sitting needs, especially if you have a dog like mine that does not do well in those large kennel environments. I will, definitely, use Lisa and David again should the need arise and hopefully I will have found something she really enjoys eating so she'll be less picky :)”
