“This was our first time booking with rover and we were for sure nervous - but Edwin was FANTASTIC! I’m such a nervous dog mom and our pup, Cigar, got a little sick just before we left town. So we were extra worried we wouldn’t be able to find a place for her to stay for 10 days on such short notice. But after leaving Cig with Edwin and receiving updates about her settling in right away, we instantly felt like she was in good hands. He was thorough with her meds, asked questions when needed, and sent the perfect amount of updates. We know Cigar was being well loved and soaking up the attention and yard space! Contractors showed up unexpectedly during the week, and she thoughtfully asked if they’d be back so she could plan her visits around them; just to help minimize stress for Frida. That level of care and consideration meant so much. Her visit reports were incredibly thorough. She detailed every litter box scoop (including type), and when Frida got into human food in the pantry, she not only took photos but also made sure the food was secured so it wouldn’t happen again. At one point we thought our auto feeder had failed, and she troubleshot it until she confirmed it was working properly. Frida, who is usually shy, warmed up to her instantly and showered her with affection at every visit. It was clear she has a natural gift with cats; she truly is the cat lady of Lockhart. About: Hello all pet parents! I am new to Rover. I've recently relocated to Luling, TX. I am looking for small gigs like taking care of furry friends because pets are my life, as I'm sure they are yours too! Most of my professional and personal experiences with pets have been with dogs and cats, to include feedings, scheduled walks and playtimes, administering medications, bathing, nail trims, and just plain ol' cuddling. I am big on SAFETY as it is the most important thing when your pet is away from you or in someone else's care. I understand different breeds may need different types of attention, especially when factoring in age and certain health conditions. Please allow me a chance to meet your pup (or cat) and help you out occasionally! Cheers! (Smaller critters welcome, we all need a little checking on!) I’m currently a stay at home pet mom while I attend online classes to become an educator, which is self paced. It is very easy for me to balance your pets needs with my own! I may allow overnight boarding from time to time in my own home, I will keep my calendar open for that accordingly. I can take your pets outside to favored parks or areas, or care for them in your own home. I do not wish to stay overnight in your home, but may be available for extended hours.

About: Throughout high school, I would take care of my neighbors dogs, my brothers family dogs, and many dogs owned by friends of the family. This would include walks, feeding, baths if needed, etc. I now have my own 6 month old puppy and a 15 year old senior cat who I have been working with! My dog gets to have all the playtime he can have and enjoy long walks, while exploring new neighborhoods to mark. I give him foods he would need, along with his dry food that he has access to anytime of the day and I give him treats that are good for building up jaw strength and cleaning his teeth. While keeping his fur, and nails in check as well, once every two weeks. To ensure no grass or stickers get stuck in his hair during his walks. Overall my Yorkie, has loyalty and love for me, as I do for him. I take care of and pet sit my uncles dogs, one is a retriever border collie mix, and the other is a husky. Both dogs are females and have two completely different personalities, one has energy to play at all times of the day, while the other likes to have attention and belly rubs. I've taken care of these dogs ever since they were pups, and they have impressed on me and always love when I visit them. My uncle trust me to watch over his dogs even when gone for weeks at a time.

I can do walks during the say or pet sit overnight. I can manage multiple pets at a time as well! I can easily crate your pet if needed! I work from home and my schedule is flexible, so I’m able to interact with and love on your fur baby all day. I can also pick up and drop off your little one if need be. I do have a few cats of my own, so if you have a kitty needing care, it may be best for me to care for them in their own environment. My cats are used to other pets though, including dogs, so they are more than welcome in my home. I also have a fenced-in yard with a lot of room for your dog to run around and live in a neighborhood conducive to walks.
About: I’ve had pets for as long as I can remember. From dogs/cats to hampers and lizards, I’ve cared for them. Animals are my passion! It’s not just a job, it’s my life. Then we. One home and eat breakfast. Playtime for a few hours inside and we go out again. I am very interactive with my dogs and any dogs I am sitting for. I have a large 2 bedroom apartment without the clutter so they can run around and out on patio. Outside for walks and at the dog playground.

But after leaving Cig with Edwin and receiving updates about her settling in right away, we instantly felt like she was in good hands. He was thorough with her meds, asked questions when needed, and sent the perfect amount of updates. We know Cigar was being well loved and soaking up the attention and yard space!
