I was raised around German Shepherds, but these days I share my home with a medium-haired cat named Tofu and a belgian malinois named Safi. I’ve spent a lot of time caring for animals, both at home and professionally as I used to be a veterinary technician for four years. I’m now a stay-at-home mom, but my love for animals hasn’t changed I still love being around pets and would be so happy to help care for yours! About: Cats hold a very near and dear, extremely special place in our hearts. Our names are Will and Kaeli, a young husband and wife duo with whole lifetimes of experience taking care of our own pets, which have always included both dogs and cats! In Will’s life specifically, he’s lived amongst at least three cats since he was three, coincidentally, and we both have always been drawn to our fuzzy, fluffy, ferocious little feline friends- both in our own homes, and whenever we see them outside on the roam (we keep our cats inside only for safety reasons both for their sake and wildlife sake). We love dogs, but we especially love cats, that’s why we have three of our own! And if we could have more, we’d start our own sanctuary! In a professional setting, we haven’t worked at any cat facilities, so our experience is exclusively taking care of our own, and other peoples’ cats when their families are away. Responsibilities have included daily check-ins, playtime, feeding 2+ times a day, refreshing water, tummy tickles, ear scratchies, litter box duty, treat time, and bird watching out the window. We have never had to administer medication to any cats but our own, but when we have, that’s included ear drops and the occasional flea and tick preventative care on the base of the neck. We’ve spent countless hours in our free time learning cat behavior and body language so we can communicate with our own kitties better, and so we can comfort and tell any cat we’re safe, calm, and will respect whatever boundaries they have without forcing them into any uncomfy situations. We know the importance of empathy and respect, and will always treat any cat like the tiny, little, sometimes moody, person that they are, no different than us big people with our own occasional moods and boundaries!

That level of care and consideration meant so much. Her visit reports were incredibly thorough. She detailed every litter box scoop (including type), and when Frida got into human food in the pantry, she not only took photos but also made sure the food was secured so it wouldn’t happen again. At one point we thought our auto feeder had failed, and she troubleshot it until she confirmed it was working properly. Frida, who is usually shy, warmed up to her instantly and showered her with affection at every visit. It was clear she has a natural gift with cats; she truly is the cat lady of Lockhart. We are available for late night, overnight, frequent drop-ins, daily walks, and longer stays during the day. At our own home, we have a two bedroom duplex with a huge fenced in backyard that our big, goofy Pyrenees mix, Unagi, loves to patrol and hang out in several times a day. We also have lots of cat toys and towers/ scratching posts for our three cats to explore, play with, and have ultra fast paced races all around the house! In client’s homes, we conduct ourselves with the utmost respect, integrity, and professionalism- ensuring we follow all guidelines and expectations. About: I have had two dogs throughout my entire life. One of them is a younger German Shepherd, and the other one was a 15 year old Shi Tzu. I am able to walk dogs for as long as needed. I can play with and take care of dogs that have a lot of energy. I also can care for dogs who are sick and need to take medication, for I had to do this with my Shi Tzu for about a year before he passed. Although I have not yet pet-sitted professionally, I am very knowledgeable when it comes to caring for and loving all different types of animals, especially dogs! I am currently on summer break, so I am looking for some extra income before I start my next semester. That is to say, my schedule is extremely flexible! I can come in during early mornings, late nights, in the middle of the day, etc. I would prefer to go to the client’s home if the dog is a bit smaller. At our own home, we have a two bedroom duplex with a huge fenced in backyard that our big, goofy Pyrenees mix, Unagi, loves to patrol and hang out in several times a day. We also have lots of cat toys and towers/ scratching posts for our three cats to explore, play with, and have ultra fast paced races all around the house! I was raised around German Shepherds, but these days I share my home with a medium-haired cat named Tofu and a belgian malinois named Safi. Our home is a cozy three bedroom space, and one of the rooms is set up as a guest room with a twin bed—our cat loves to lounge there! She’s also welcome on the couches, and the same goes for any other four legged visitors. We also have a spacious, fenced backyard that’s perfect for playtime or lounging in the sun.
