About: Over the past 5 years we had cats come to our home, found them on roads, and found them around my old high school. We have 8 kitties, 1 outside , 7 inside. I have cleaned 6 of the 8 cats myself when we rescued them, I am currently in college so I was not around when we rescued the 2 newest kitties. I took 5 of them to the vet and administered flea and worm medicine to them. Some of them also had eye/ear problems and I would take care of them by giving them eye/ear drops with no problem (I gave them treats so they would feel better!)

About: I have always loved cats, and had always been around them in some capacity growing up; Had outside cats, inside cats, befriended neighborhood cats and fed strays. I knew at a very young age that cats were just different and you needed to earn their trust and respect at their pace. I started working professionally with cats at my first veterinary job back in 2008, and it made me love them so much more. My first cat I adopted as an adult was a 16 year old tabby named Lincoln who was about to be euthanized for being bullied by the other 9 young cats at home. I said "absolutely not!" And I took him home, loved him, learned so much more about cats and he lived to be about 20 years old. I started working with rescues, with TNR projects, raising litters of kittens. I am just passionate about them. I'm patient, I understand their behavior and their language. I'm comfortable administering medications in any form (oral, injectable, etc.). Im comfortable caring for healthy cats, as well as those with special needs, and of course hospice kitties as well. I'm also always happy and ready to help with kittens. I have a deep understanding of feline medicine and will always be passionate about feline health.
About: I’ve taken care of multiple cats over the years! I’m always sure to be patient meeting new furry friends and giving them time to acclimate to me. I understand a cat’s trust needs to be earned and I’m willing to put in the work to care for them as they need! “Wow! What an amazing, dedicated young woman! She went past above and beyond. Our dog is a Malinois mix, and extremely territorial. Mikalah is such a dog lover, she got dog kisses on her first visit. On top of that, our dog was on at least 6 different medications. Mikalah handled this flawlessly. To make matters even more challenging, there was a HUGE snowstorm. I almost didn’t go on my trip, but Mikalah reassured me she would be there rain or snow. Schools and businesses closed, but she made it morning and night to our dog. So grateful to have found her!!!”

About: I have been around a wide variety of dog breeds and personalities since as far back as I can remember. I got my first puppy at around 3 years old, and my family and friends have always had dogs and cats. I have watched over not only dogs and cats, but other animals such as horses, goats, cows, etc. I have house sat multiple times for families who have more than one dog or cat (sometimes both) and for families that have dogs/cats with special needs. I also have references upon request. I now have an Australian Cattle dog who is my best friend, and goes with me everywhere. He is a high energy breed, so if I’m working with a dog who exhibits that same trait, I am familiar with how to exercise that dog mentally and physically so that they are stimulated and maintain a healthy lifestyle. I am currently a stay at home dog mom, so my schedule is usually free so that I can assist with any pet related tasks. The dogs have free roam of the house. There is always food and water down. Treats given daily. I also have a doggy door. I have a fenced in yard but they will only go out to potty then come in and have free roam of my house. I free feed so there is always food and water down in 2 different heights. About: I have been taking care of animals my entire life. Everything from chickens to iguanas, but I’ve always had a love for dogs. I’ve been volunteering at the spca since I was eleven, and now I would like to care for animals in home. About: When I was younger we had 3 dogs, they were my best girls! Over the years we had rescued 8 cats, one of our cats may have some autism but she is so gentle and just needed some love. The trick is to let them come to you so they see you as a safe space! I currently work part-time but I am not working as much this summer, I may have a few softball lessons since I play college softball. My morning and afternoons are mainly free, in the afternoon is when I workout but I am very flexible! We used to have a fenced in area in our backyard for our dogs and a pool deck (no pool) but had to tear down our deck and now we have a beautiful grassy green area with lots of plants! Our home inside is very pet friendly we have cat and dog toys as well as cat and dog food/treats!

I am a full time veterinary technician, but make time for part time pet sitting and pet transportation. I will usually do check ins between 7-8am on the weekdays and Night time check ins around 9pm depending on the week. one week I'll work Friday-Sunday and my check in may be later at night, and the next week I have the weekends free and check ins can be anytime of the day. Depending on distance from my work I can do mid day check ins. I also do over night stays, and have a spot open for 1-2 small animals- same family for boarding. I follow every instruction that is left for me, go above and beyond to keep pet happy. I take pictures and send updates always. I have a separate, very spacious room where i can safely board 1-2 cats of the same family, or one cat and one small dog, same family. A special skill of mine would be that i am very patient with all animals, especially dogs and cats that tend to be nervous at times. If hired, I will provide excellent care and love for your pets! I am currently enrolled at UT Tyler School of Nursing and working part time on campus. I am free most mornings and evenings and off during weekends. My schedule is flexible, so feel free to let me know what days you need! I have experience doing house visits and walks around neighborhoods and local parks! I prefer to do a home visit first to meet the pet and get familiar with the pet’s environment so I do not cause the pet any extra stress. My care priority is making sure the pet is comfortable and taken care of.

I have trained dogs and horse and always helped my kids with all their 4H animals. Dogs and horses are my world and being able to give them the special love they need while their mom & dad are on vacation brings me joy. Being able to give them love and care just like they get at home warms my heart. I will allow them to get all the potty breaks they need and can take them out on a walk daily. I have anything from dog runs that are indoor / outdoor to them being able to stay inside and hang out with me. If you prefer your babies to stay at home, I am able to go to your house and love on your fur babies, let them out to go potty and even take them for a walk. Your dog or cat will be sure to have all the love and attention they deserve while under my care. I am currently working during the week but also have availability with my husband to hang out with your dogs while I’m working. I am available on weekends and holidays and almost any day during the week. I have a fenced in yard and a few dogs of my own. Your dogs can play in the backyard with mine or in the front yard. We can go on long walks and they are welcome to sleep or hang out on my couch along with the ability to crate them if needed.

I grew up with cats as-well (currently have 3 rescues) and have always had a soft spot for them. About: I have been around a wide variety of dog breeds and personalities since as far back as I can remember. I got my first puppy at around 3 years old, and my family and friends have always had dogs and cats. I have watched over not only dogs and cats, but other animals such as horses, goats, cows, etc. I have house sat multiple times for families who have more than one dog or cat (sometimes both) and for families that have dogs/cats with special needs. About: I’ve worked as a kennel tech/bather Ive cleaned kennel feeding and providing water for dogs and cats I have experience walking dogs of all sizes from puppies to Great Danes I’ve medicated clients and also bathe and done nail trims I’ve handled cats too with bathing and giving meds to cleaning out litter boxes. I work M-F 7-5:30. I can come before or after work for drop ins, I can also stop by on my lunch which is 12-1 if your home is near my clinic I work at. I go home every day on my lunch to let my pets out for potty breaks I can do it for your pets too. I have a fenced back yard and 3 fixed dogs. I also have 3 cats as well all are neutered. My pets are kenneled when I leave, but your fur baby is free to roam around my home, and if you prefer your fur baby to be kenneled if no one is home at the time that’s an option i can do as well
