“This past weekend I boarded my dog Duke at Claudia’s home. Though Duke is a well behaved large dog, he doesn’t like anything outside of his normal routine. I have always been extremely hesitant to board him because I knew it would be extremely upsetting for him. Duke knew Claudia from all the home visits she does so I boarded him at her home to make him feel a little more comfortable with someone he already knew. Claudia sent me so many cute photos and updates throughout the weekend. Claudia went over and above with Duke and treated him like a member of her own family. She has a large beautiful back yard for the dogs to play in and also took Duke for walks. I’m so happy I can board my dog with Claudia instead of putting him at a boarding facility where he would be very upset the entire time. STORY TIME : * ****I met a pit bull ****At the age of 17 I went to one of my first parties with my friend ( I was still very shy and reserved, but was looking to dismantle my comfort zone ). I had a bad time and unfortunately I was followed walking on my route and hoped to just make it back home in the same pieces that I came with lol . Anyways I approached a dark neighborhood on my path and only two streetlights worked and sarcastically I was excited to be walking under one the moment I locked eyes with THEE most Beautiful & intimidating Pit Bull I’d ever been blessed with eyes to see and a body to run that couldn’t move and was actually not breathing to well either 😅So I did what any rational human would in this situation and called her and told her to come here “sweetie” and she Bolted towards me … arms out stretched shaking in my wee lil boots I prayed lol and she jumped up on my shoulder and licked my face and I was at awe 🥹. She walked me home (2miles) and we actually got stopped by a couple who told me I have a beautiful dog and I explained she wasn’t mine and asked if they wanted to try and keep her but she never left my side . I’ve never felt so safe and happy all at once at 12 midnight imagine what love can do !!! I lived in that same area for three extra years and never seen her again . The End My professional experience consists of working side by side as an acting vet assistant where I learned to chip dogs , feed them medicine, clean kennels, walk them and feed them their food . I also worked as a canine coach where I oversaw 1-28 dogs at a time play with them talk to them prevent them from being in danger making it the best environment possible . About: I've taken care of dogs, as well as cats since I was six. My pet experience with dogs is of varying size, energy level, and maintenance. From my moms dog who was a German shepherd, Rottweiler, and chocolate lab mix, to a large stray dog that mix have been a Great dane and boxer mix, and currently 2 small dogs, Angel and Charlie. I do have experience with diabetic dogs as my dog, Charlie, is diabetic. I have experience as well with handling high energy dogs like my dog, Angel, who is chihuahua and jack Russell terrier mix. I am currently unemployed, but live with my mom and take care of my sister, who is 17 years old, I drive her to school at 7 am and pick her up at 3:43 p.m. I am available between then and after 7 p.m. as I have to give my dog Charlie her insulin shots and scheduled feeding twice a day. As a mom of two pet loving kids and a dog owner myself, caring for animals is a natural part of our daily routine! I have a fully fenced yard, access to walking trails and dog park. We relish spending time outdoors, and we have ample time for play, walks, and attention.

“This past weekend I boarded my dog Duke at Claudia’s home. Though Duke is a well behaved large dog, he doesn’t like anything outside of his normal routine. I have always been extremely hesitant to board him because I knew it would be extremely upsetting for him. Duke knew Claudia from all the home visits she does so I boarded him at her home to make him feel a little more comfortable with someone he already knew. Claudia sent me so many cute photos and updates throughout the weekend. Claudia went over and above with Duke and treated him like a member of her own family. She has a large beautiful back yard for the dogs to play in and also took Duke for walks. I’m so happy I can board my dog with Claudia instead of putting him at a boarding facility where he would be very upset the entire time. Claudia is one of the very few people I can fully trust to take care of my dogs and I’m so grateful I found her on Rover!”

About: Hey there, hope your day is going well!! Your dog/pup will be in great hands as we take a walk session either it be an adventure, workout, or just a nice easy pace around the neighborhood. I can feed, bathe, grind nails, and get your dog, “dog gone tired” that way they can come home and relax with you! Rather it be from a long day at work, an out of town business trip, or even a quick vacation you will not need to worry about your loved one. I have been around pups all my life and i love them, as they are truly “Mans best friend”. Let me know if there is anything I can do to help you while you are away from your fur babies and don’t hesitate to ask questions! I’m usually off from work 2 to 3 weeks at a time. So I will be home all day with the puppers and give them my full attention. The property is fenced in and the lakes and trails are up kept. Plenty of running space indoor and outdoor! Baths for the pups that love to swim in lake!
