“Hannah was an absolute rockstar cat sitter this past week. I’ve never had an overnight sitter and was unsure what to expect. Plus, my cat Christine can be a bit of a brat. Hannah was cool, calm, and collected when the brat decided she wanted to spend two days outside. Hannah made sure to give me updates each day and eventually Christine decided she was done with the heat and outside adventures. It was so nice to return home and not have to worry about the house or the cat. About: Throughout my life I've grown up around and cared for many dogs, cats, birds, and small mammals. I've also had the wonderful opportunity to participate in my high school's doggie daycare, where we walked, played, and provided grooming services to dogs. My lifelong love for animals has led me to become a student at Texas A&M majoring in Wildlife and Fisheries, and for my freshman year I was a member of a service dog training organization called Patriot Paws. About: I’ve been a dog owner my entire life, which has given me a strong understanding of their needs and behaviors. In addition to caring for my own dogs, I have also taken care of dogs for family members and friends. Through these experiences, I’ve worked with dogs of many different sizes, breeds, and ages. I am currently a college student, but with summer coming up I have plenty of free time to put my full attention into your dogs. About: I have loved animals for as long as I can remember. I was responsible for my first pet at 10 years old, of course my parents would give me a hand when necessary. However, for the most part I was responsible for making sure my cats were fed, hydrated, clean and loved. I got my first ever dog for my 16th birthday. This time, I was 100% responsible for my new puppy. I had the same responsibilities as when I owned my cat, but this time I would only receive help when I asked. I do have experience dog sitting, I watched my neighbors dog for about a week when I was 14. The neighbors allowed me to stay in their home, so I would spend most of my day with the dog. It was an amazing experience and they were very thankful. I am a student at SHSU, so I will have classes during the day. However, I am from the area, so I will be available during the holiday season (with some exceptions as needed). I usually only let my dog out as needed (when she asks to go) in. our fenced in back yard. I also do know how to care of a puppy who isn't potty trained, from raising my dog. I am not a super strict owner personally (I allow my dog on the bed and furniture), but I am able to enforce whatever rules you have for your pet. With cats, I had both an indoor-outdoor cat and indoor cat. I have experience with maintaining a litter box and monitoring a cat. Since cats are more independent, I usually let them do their thing. But, as a cat lover, I will always attempt to play with or pet a cat and usually I am successful. I love all animals, but I will say I have a special way with cats. I have not met a cat that I can't get to like me, yet. I also want to express that no matter what I will care for your animals as if they were my own.

About: Be able to feel comfortable leaving your pets for a certain amount of time with my fiancé Faith and I whenever you need to go out. Every pet will be treated as if it were our own and will get all the attention it needs and deserves. We offer daily walks, accept special requests, and would love to take care of your companion as if they were our own. We have a two poodles, Australian Shepherd and a German Shepherd along with two cats and we absolutely love our pets and will adore yours as well. We also have a rabbit, gecko and snake so you can say we really are animal lovers. We have many years of personal experience and are looking forward to becoming your companions friend! You won't have to worry about your dogs or cats while you're away. We will treat them and love them like they are ours. I work night so I am home during the day and my fiancé works during the day so she watches the pets during the night. We have a fenced in yard so there is not need to worry about dogs trying to escape while in the backyard. Their first few times going to the restroom are supervised and alone so they can smell the backyard by themselves and not worry about the other dogs running around. After a few times going to the restroom or them being inside then we will allow one of our dogs to come out of their kennel to be introduced properly and let them socialize for about 30-45 minutes before trying to introduce the next pet. Our cats will usually end up going to their room when there is a new pet in the house and won't come out until its time to eat.

And when I’m not here (which rarely happens) my roommates are here to care for the dogs and apartment. I’m able to give baths and brush their fur. I don’t know how to cut nails but I can file them down. I let my dogs sleep in the same room as me so they won’t be separated throughout the night in case they have separation anxiety unless they aren’t potty trained.
About: Throughout my life I've grown up around and cared for many dogs, cats, birds, and small mammals. I've also had the wonderful opportunity to participate in my high school's doggie daycare, where we walked, played, and provided grooming services to dogs. My lifelong love for animals has led me to become a student at Texas A&M majoring in Wildlife and Fisheries, and for my freshman year I was a member of a service dog training organization called Patriot Paws. About: I grew up in a household that regularly had 2-3 dogs around. We raised puppies but we would also rescue elderly dogs from the pound to give them a safe place to live out their last few years. When I was in college, I met my now-husband and his sweet golden doodle, Sam. We joined Rover several years back after we had to say goodbye to Sam. For the first time in either of our lives we found ourself dogless but not quite ready for another of our own. We now own another goldendoodle and because we are renting, we can’t keep other dogs at our house but I’m happy to offer drop ins. About: I've always loved dogs but oddly enough I've never had one of my own. I have however dog sitted for friends and neighbors before for some time and so I have good experience with taking care of dogs. I don't get frightened easily and will gladly take any advice if he/she has any special needs. The dog's size can range from a Toy Chihuahua to Great Dane. About: I don’t know what sets me apart from other sitters, what I do know is how interactive I am with animals. The love and attention I want to give out to animals is unique to me and will give your dog or cat a glow!
