About: From growing up with my childhood dog, and multiple dogs at my grandmothers house, I’ve had experience with dogs since a very young age. I currently have three sweethearts. An American cocker spaniel, a rescue pup, and a rescue kitten. I have watched countless friends dogs and cats as well, and will never say no. I’m absolutely in love with any and all kinds of animals. We had a family emergency that required short notice travel that coincided with Thanksgiving week, and we are brand new to Austin. Enter Norman. We picked him because he has been verified and had good reviews. He was very responsive, available for our pets on very short notice, answered all my questions and scheduled a phone call with us to go over pet specifics. Norman is very professional. About: I have taken care of other pets since elementary school. Neighbors and friends, even farm animals like sheep and goats. I can take care of it all! I have experience both with big dogs including a German Shepherd, Great Pyrenees lab mix, Australian Shepherds, and shelter dogs as well as smaller dogs including a Teacup Pomeranian and an Iggie. I’m very active, so if your dog has a lot of energy and likes to go on runs, I am happy to run with them as well. For cats, I am happy to match their energy levels - if they are playful and energetic, I engage with them and encourage play. If they prefer to sleep or rest or are more shy, I am happy to just be around and pet them/brush them if they would like or just give them space. I am happy to care for other pets if requested and I am comfortable with the care instructions. I have previously cared for a tortoise, which mainly consisted of feeding him and giving him water.
