“What can I say about this lovely couple? Blair and Blake are the best! I was very apprehensive about leaving my Leo with yet another sitter. I tried Rover when I first got Leo about two years ago at eight weeks and it was not a good experience. Blair assured me that Leo would be well taken care of, and he was. My husband and I travel pretty often and it was imperative to find a trustworthy sitter for him. I had been taking him to one of the pet stores for boarding and felt he was not being taken care of. The last straw was, picking him up one day and discovering dried poop on his ears ( he's a golden doodle). When this happened I was furious! Blair was very patient with me asking questions, doing my multiple check ins, and unnecessary reminders. I am very protective about my boy and I'm sure she picked up on that. Usually when I pick him up he's very anxious and it takes him a couple of days to bounce back to normal. When I picked him up from Blair and Blake's he was happy, clean, and smelled really good. About: I am a dog loving patient person who enjoys long walks. I have volunteered with the SPCA and have been around teacup Chihuahuas to big and active dogs such as Shepherds, Great Danes, and high energy Greyhounds and Catahoulas. I have owned and taken care of several big dogs most of my life to include: a Shepherd, Black Labs, a couple Dachshunds and a full-blooded Catahoula; so I understand the rigours of the exercise that they need. I am available almost anytime, except for the hours of church. “I left Zorro at their house for a day. It was a last minute request so I was a bit antsy. As soon as I arrived at Claudette's I was assured Zorro would be at home and well cared for. The back yard was huge. Two other little dogs were there for Zorro to interact with. It was clear he was going to be fine. They touched base throughout the day and when I asked for an update, they sent one -- a cute photo of Zorro on Patrick's lap! When I picked him up he was happy, not desperate to see me. A sure sign that he had had a low key, easy visit. My only issue I had was with Rover. I tried to get the video chat to work numerous times and the call would not go through. Perhaps leave more specific instructions as to how to make that work.”

About: Growing up, my wife has taken care of many dogs both at home and professionally at vet offices. In 2019, She opened up an at home boarding services where we had experience with a wide variety of breeds and ages. We cared for a lot of older senior dogs as well as blind and hearing impaired canines. I am almost always available. Pet care just about naturally fits into my core daily routine. I'm an early riser and always have been, my cat rarely lets me sleep in. I have a large fenced yard and a shaded porch with a fan in the backyard. About: I am currently studying pre vet in college with the intention of becoming a small animal veterinarian. I have always had at least one dog at home and have helped train each of them. From puppies to senior dogs I am confident I can give your dog the love and care they deserve while your away. When I’m watching pets at their home, I make sure to follow their normal routine as much as possible so they feel comfortable and at ease. Whether it’s feeding, walking, or just hanging out, I keep them busy and happy while giving them some love and attention. I also take care to keep their space tidy and make sure everything is safe for the pets. My goal is to make them feel like they’re getting all the love and care they need while their owner is away.
About: I went to college to be a Vet and although I ended up in sales I definitely learned the basics on how to take care of your pet. I’ve cared for dogs of all ages and energy levels, from energetic puppies who need structure and training reinforcement to senior dogs who require a little extra patience and care. My background as a vet student also means you can trust me to be consistent, communicative, and professional. “What can I say about this lovely couple? Blair and Blake are the best! I was very apprehensive about leaving my Leo with yet another sitter. I tried Rover when I first got Leo about two years ago at eight weeks and it was not a good experience. Blair assured me that Leo would be well taken care of, and he was. My husband and I travel pretty often and it was imperative to find a trustworthy sitter for him. I had been taking him to one of the pet stores for boarding and felt he was not being taken care of. The last straw was, picking him up one day and discovering dried poop on his ears ( he's a golden doodle). When this happened I was furious! Blair was very patient with me asking questions, doing my multiple check ins, and unnecessary reminders. I am very protective about my boy and I'm sure she picked up on that. Usually when I pick him up he's very anxious and it takes him a couple of days to bounce back to normal. When I picked him up from Blair and Blake's he was happy, clean, and smelled really good. Thank you so much for taking good care of my boy! I have found a new place to call a home away from hom for Leo. I now trust that he is being well taken care of. “Jill was great watching our 2 huskies! We used her on two different occasions, a wedding rehearsal pick up/daycare, and a wedding pick up (our dog was in our wedding) including boarding over night. Both times she picked up our dogs and brought them to her house to watch. She was very responsive to my messages and made me feel comfortable leaving my dogs with her (I have trust issues and an escape artist)! She was also helpful in recommending a martingale collar for my dog. We also did a meet and greet beforehand at her house which helped me feel more at ease.
