I was in a strange situation, where I was moving across the country with my dog and two cats, but had to stop along the way in the Houston area, and leave my pets so I could fly out for a couple days to a job interview before getting back on the road. I needed someone to do check-in visits with the cats (one of them is very old and has feeding requirements) and to board my dog who is a little bit nervous when I'm gone. I was a nervous wreck about the whole situation. But Lesly came through for me. I took my dog Sombrita over to meet her a couple days before I left; and then Lesly also came over to meet my cats before the trip. Sombrita was really scared and timid when I left. But Lesly and her family were gentle and sweet with her, and she warmed up quickly, and had fun while she was there. Lesly sent me pictures and videos of everyone each day to put me at ease, and was always very responsive. I'm really grateful for her care.”

About: While I have not professionally taken care of animal, I have always had a dog (specifically pitbulls) in my household since I was a child. I've also house sat for reptiles (lizards and snakes), fish, and cats. ** I will be unavailable for services from August to December while I am on maternity leave** I work full time remotely, so my schedule is very flexible. I can stop in at any time to walk or let them out to use the bathroom, or I can bring my work laptops with me to work from your home if I am needed for extended periods of time. I am also part of the Texas National Guard so every month I will need to go to drills, so weekend availability will change each month. At my dad's house in New York, I always leash our dog when we go for our walks and make sure that we walk through a safe neighborhood or on a hiking trail that's near our house. When outside, I keep an eye on him and make sure that he does not get into anything he shouldn't. I also make sure that if other people are around that he feels comfortable and safe. With my own puppy at home, he has a leash that we use to walk around our complex (they require all dogs to be leashed), but he is naturally good without a leash as well.

About: At my old apartment I used to dog sit and I have experienced the puppy stages to adult. During High school I used to be in FFA so I have some experience in farmhand. Dogs have always been apart of my life and family and I have also had lots of experience with taking care of a elderly dog my dog I had for 16 years ended up being diabetic and needing insulin two times a day with a injection so I have a lot of experience with the extra needs of a dog and I am very well equipped to handle any situation necessary! I am very loving and kind and have a calm demeanor so dogs always take well to me! I would be ecstatic to meet new and amazing dogs I treat dogs like they’re my children. “Wonderful experience! We were nervous to leave our young dog while going out of town on short notice. We hadn’t had her very long and she is shy around strangers; on top of that she started her first heat and had her spay delayed. Needless to say, I was so nervous about having to be separated from her. Hannah and her family did a wonderful job watching our dog while we were out of town. We got pictures and updates several times a day. On our meet and greet, we got to check out the huge backyard and Hannah took special care to learn my dog’s routine, favorite toys, etc. Hannah even gave her a little bath when her fur got matted so that she would be more comfortable. When we went to pick her up, our dog felt so at home that she acted like she lived there! We give an A+ and will book again!”
