About: Hi, I'm Dawn. I'm a retired nurse and animal lover. I believe that our 4 legged friends are the same as family and should be treated as such. I live with my husband of 26 years and our 18 year old son. We have lived in our home since 2004 in the neighborhood of Kings Manor in the front of Kingwood. We have a large, fenced in backyard that is perfect for running and playing fetch. It's a safe and quiet neighborhood with lots of green belt trails for long walks on sunny or cloudy days :) I enjoy cooking, gardening, crafting, swinging on the swing set and gaming :) I spend a large portion of the day outdoors so you can be assured your fur baby will get plenty of outside play time each and every day they're here (weather permitting of course) I know what it's like to have to put the care of your loved one in the hands of a stranger so I will always be mindful of the value of a game of fetch, a walk or extra cuddles during a thunderstorm. About: While I have not professionally taken care of animal, I have always had a dog (specifically pitbulls) in my household since I was a child. I've also house sat for reptiles (lizards and snakes), fish, and cats. ** I will be unavailable for services from August to December while I am on maternity leave** I work full time remotely, so my schedule is very flexible. I can stop in at any time to walk or let them out to use the bathroom, or I can bring my work laptops with me to work from your home if I am needed for extended periods of time. I am also part of the Texas National Guard so every month I will need to go to drills, so weekend availability will change each month. At my dad's house in New York, I always leash our dog when we go for our walks and make sure that we walk through a safe neighborhood or on a hiking trail that's near our house. When outside, I keep an eye on him and make sure that he does not get into anything he shouldn't. I also make sure that if other people are around that he feels comfortable and safe. With my own puppy at home, he has a leash that we use to walk around our complex (they require all dogs to be leashed), but he is naturally good without a leash as well.

“Wowsa, I don't know where to even start, Jeremiah and Michelle were AWESOME host for our pup. We were so excited to see the daily pictures and videos of our big guy living his best life with their furry little girl and new bestie. You could see his happiness in the pics! We could tell he was well loved. They also have a great backyard for running and playing . It's so hard to leave our big guy but they made it easier knowing he was being well taken care of. We can't recommend them enough!”
