“We left our dog Stanley with Edwin and his wonderful family for a 9-day stay, and they did a fantastic job! Edwin kept us updated with photos and messages, showing Stanley eating, getting brushed, going on walks, and settling in. Anytime I checked in, Edwin was quick to respond and always communicative. We had a great feeling about the stay after a meet-and-greet with Edwin and his family a week before our trip. From the moment we arrived, Edwin took the leash and was confidently in control of Stanley. We’ve done meet-and-greets before where the sitter gives your dog a few pats and focuses more on chatting with you. This was more like a test drive, where Edwin paid close attention to how Stanley handled the new environment. It gave us real peace of mind knowing they took the responsibility seriously and that Stanley would be well cared for while we were away. Stanley is pretty easy going... until it thunders. Then he becomes very anxious. Unfortunately, there were a few storms while we were away. We left medication to help, but it takes awhile to kick in and it sometimes only takes the edge off. If you have a dog like this, you feel pretty helpless during these storms. There is no magic fix. You make them as comfortable as possible, but the only way "out" is getting through the storm. Edwin was proactive with the medication, and along with his family, helped Stanley ride out those storms as well as we could have ourselves. We’re grateful to Edwin and his family for taking such great care of Stanley and would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a sitter.”

About: I've been taking care of different animals since I was a kid. From farm livestock to exotic animals with more specific needs, I'm confident I can keep your pet very happy and comfortable. About: I have cared for my daughters cats at times when she goes out of town. They eat at a certain time so I go over before 6pm and play with them and then feed them. Change and clean out their litter boxes. Make sure if they made a mess to clean it so she doesn't have to. I own 3 cats myself they are outside cats but they are well fed and water everyday.

About: I grew up with a cat, my stepdad had a shorthair black cat with beautiful green eyes, I would feed her but since I was in young young, there wasn’t much else I could do fast forward to 2023. My sister’s best friend has three cats and whenever they would go out of town, I would cat sit for her. It worked even better because we lived in the same apartment complex. I would just stop by and make sure the cats were doing OK. I fed them gave them water and one of them required to take medication so I would give her her meds as well.

About: Hello all pet parents! I am new to Rover. I've recently relocated to Luling, TX. I am looking for small gigs like taking care of furry friends because pets are my life, as I'm sure they are yours too! Most of my professional and personal experiences with pets have been with dogs and cats, to include feedings, scheduled walks and playtimes, administering medications, bathing, nail trims, and just plain ol' cuddling. I am big on SAFETY as it is the most important thing when your pet is away from you or in someone else's care. I understand different breeds may need different types of attention, especially when factoring in age and certain health conditions. Please allow me a chance to meet your pup (or cat) and help you out occasionally! Cheers! (Smaller critters welcome, we all need a little checking on!) I’m currently a stay at home pet mom while I attend online classes to become an educator, which is self paced. It is very easy for me to balance your pets needs with my own! I may allow overnight boarding from time to time in my own home, I will keep my calendar open for that accordingly. I can take your pets outside to favored parks or areas, or care for them in your own home. I do not wish to stay overnight in your home, but may be available for extended hours.

About: I am a former vet tech that still has a passion for animals. I just recently decided to stay at home with my babies, and to take care of stuff around the house. So with that being said, I am available pretty much anytime for in home boarding, drop in visits, walks, bathing, and any other services that may be needed. My house is open to having visitors stay with me. We live on 30 acres, with an acre completely fenced in. We also have a dog run area that is fenced in our homestead as well. I worked in the vet field for roughly 5 years and loved every second of it. I have 5 cats and 5 dogs. The cats have their own room, so they don’t mix with the dogs. I also have 2 young kids who absolutely adore all animals. I am able to give medications, baths, nail trims, and any other special care that may be needed. I treat all animals as if they were my own. I have toys and bones all throughout the house. There are dog beds and blankets everywhere for them to lay on. I even have blankets on the furniture for them to get up and lay on. I have a fenced in yard where they can run and play. I love animals and love to spend time with them. I do require our furry kids to be up to date on vaccines like Rabies, Distemper/Parvo, and Bordetella. I am pretty much home all day, so I am available all day to take care of any and all animals. If I do have to leave, it is for a short time, and I make sure to let them potty before I leave and as soon as I get home. I care for pets as if they are my own. I treat them like I treat my own animals. I make sure that they have everything they need and then try to give extra. Spend extra time, give extra attention, more snuggles, etc

Take the time to hold/pet each one individually one on one time with me. Its a daily,weekly,nightly routine. I have to make sure my babies are looking good, feeling good. About: Dogs have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I’ve cared for everything from tiny Chihuahuas to gentle Great Pyrenees, raised puppies from birth, loved senior dogs through their golden years, and cared for rescue dogs with unique personalities and needs. About: From a young age, I've gained extensive pet care experience. Growing up on a farm, I was constantly around animals. My first real responsibility was caring for our German Shepherd in fourth grade, which included regular walks and grooming. Later, during my freshman year of high school, I became the primary caregiver for our Chiweenie, Teddy, managing his daily needs. Additionally, I've cared for friends' dogs and neighbors' cats, including feeding and administering medications, and going on walks! I am a part-time student and also work part-time at the outlets. I was raised around German Shepherds, but these days I share my home with a medium-haired cat named Tofu and a belgian malinois named Safi. I’ve spent a lot of time caring for animals, both at home and professionally as I used to be a veterinary technician for four years. Pet sitting is the perfect way for me to stay connected to animals while also being able to stay at home with my baby girl. Bilingual As a stay at home mom my schedule is super flexible, and I can easily accommodate you and your pet’s needs! I am available Monday through Sunday. Our home is a cozy three bedroom space, and one of the rooms is set up as a guest room with a twin bed—our cat loves to lounge there! She’s also welcome on the couches, and the same goes for any other four legged visitors. We also have a spacious, fenced backyard that’s perfect for playtime or lounging in the sun. If it’s more convenient for me to come to your home, I’m happy to make that work as long as you’re okay with me bringing my baby along if needed and your pets are gentle and comfortable around little ones.
“We left our dog Stanley with Edwin and his wonderful family for a 9-day stay, and they did a fantastic job! Edwin kept us updated with photos and messages, showing Stanley eating, getting brushed, going on walks, and settling in. Anytime I checked in, Edwin was quick to respond and always communicative. We had a great feeling about the stay after a meet-and-greet with Edwin and his family a week before our trip. From the moment we arrived, Edwin took the leash and was confidently in control of Stanley. We’ve done meet-and-greets before where the sitter gives your dog a few pats and focuses more on chatting with you. This was more like a test drive, where Edwin paid close attention to how Stanley handled the new environment. It gave us real peace of mind knowing they took the responsibility seriously and that Stanley would be well cared for while we were away. Stanley is pretty easy going... until it thunders. Then he becomes very anxious. Unfortunately, there were a few storms while we were away. We left medication to help, but it takes awhile to kick in and it sometimes only takes the edge off. If you have a dog like this, you feel pretty helpless during these storms. There is no magic fix. You make them as comfortable as possible, but the only way "out" is getting through the storm. Edwin was proactive with the medication, and along with his family, helped Stanley ride out those storms as well as we could have ourselves. We’re grateful to Edwin and his family for taking such great care of Stanley and would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a sitter.”
