“We left our dog Stanley with Edwin and his wonderful family for a 9-day stay, and they did a fantastic job! Edwin kept us updated with photos and messages, showing Stanley eating, getting brushed, going on walks, and settling in. Anytime I checked in, Edwin was quick to respond and always communicative. We had a great feeling about the stay after a meet-and-greet with Edwin and his family a week before our trip. From the moment we arrived, Edwin took the leash and was confidently in control of Stanley. We’ve done meet-and-greets before where the sitter gives your dog a few pats and focuses more on chatting with you. This was more like a test drive, where Edwin paid close attention to how Stanley handled the new environment. It gave us real peace of mind knowing they took the responsibility seriously and that Stanley would be well cared for while we were away. Stanley is pretty easy going... until it thunders. Then he becomes very anxious. Unfortunately, there were a few storms while we were away. We left medication to help, but it takes awhile to kick in and it sometimes only takes the edge off. If you have a dog like this, you feel pretty helpless during these storms. There is no magic fix. You make them as comfortable as possible, but the only way "out" is getting through the storm. Edwin was proactive with the medication, and along with his family, helped Stanley ride out those storms as well as we could have ourselves. We’re grateful to Edwin and his family for taking such great care of Stanley and would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a sitter.”

About: Hi my name Destiny and I'm 31 years old. Dogs are my life, I also used to work at a dog day care before I decided to begin one on my own. I've always loved animals since I was a little girl and knew I wanted to work with them. I decided that caring for other dogs as if their were my own is absolutely an amazing feeling to make a pup feel safe while you're away. About: Cats hold a very near and dear, extremely special place in our hearts. Our names are Will and Kaeli, a young husband and wife duo with whole lifetimes of experience taking care of our own pets, which have always included both dogs and cats! In Will’s life specifically, he’s lived amongst at least three cats since he was three, coincidentally, and we both have always been drawn to our fuzzy, fluffy, ferocious little feline friends- both in our own homes, and whenever we see them outside on the roam (we keep our cats inside only for safety reasons both for their sake and wildlife sake). We love dogs, but we especially love cats, that’s why we have three of our own! And if we could have more, we’d start our own sanctuary! In a professional setting, we haven’t worked at any cat facilities, so our experience is exclusively taking care of our own, and other peoples’ cats when their families are away. Responsibilities have included daily check-ins, playtime, feeding 2+ times a day, refreshing water, tummy tickles, ear scratchies, litter box duty, treat time, and bird watching out the window. We have never had to administer medication to any cats but our own, but when we have, that’s included ear drops and the occasional flea and tick preventative care on the base of the neck. We’ve spent countless hours in our free time learning cat behavior and body language so we can communicate with our own kitties better, and so we can comfort and tell any cat we’re safe, calm, and will respect whatever boundaries they have without forcing them into any uncomfy situations. About: I have cared for my daughters cats at times when she goes out of town. They eat at a certain time so I go over before 6pm and play with them and then feed them. Change and clean out their litter boxes. Make sure if they made a mess to clean it so she doesn't have to. I own 3 cats myself they are outside cats but they are well fed and water everyday.

I am big on SAFETY as it is the most important thing when your pet is away from you or in someone else's care. I understand different breeds may need different types of attention, especially when factoring in age and certain health conditions. Please allow me a chance to meet your pup (or cat) and help you out occasionally! Cheers! (Smaller critters welcome, we all need a little checking on!) I’m currently a stay at home pet mom while I attend online classes to become an educator, which is self paced. It is very easy for me to balance your pets needs with my own! I may allow overnight boarding from time to time in my own home, I will keep my calendar open for that accordingly. I can take your pets outside to favored parks or areas, or care for them in your own home. I do not wish to stay overnight in your home, but may be available for extended hours.

About: I love animals. I've had 2 dogs at all times for the last 22yrs. and a few cats. I live in a large 2 bdrm Apt with my 3 sweet Chihuahuas. I am a dog person and this is a dog house. About: I’ve had pets for as long as I can remember. From dogs/cats to hampers and lizards, I’ve cared for them. Animals are my passion! It’s not just a job, it’s my life. I am currently home full time so I’m almost always available on weekdays and weekends. I’m very flexible and cooperative so I can work around different schedules. About: Growing up we have always had dogs in the family and my first job was at a doggy care for a little over a year making sure that everyone’s loved ones were taken care of while they are away. I always end our day together with some treats/food and spending some time with them!

I also like to jot notes down just in case there’s something your pet is allergic to, or can cause tummy issues, to keep note of. Or really anything that’s note worthy!

“We left our dog Stanley with Edwin and his wonderful family for a 9-day stay, and they did a fantastic job! Edwin kept us updated with photos and messages, showing Stanley eating, getting brushed, going on walks, and settling in. Anytime I checked in, Edwin was quick to respond and always communicative. We had a great feeling about the stay after a meet-and-greet with Edwin and his family a week before our trip. From the moment we arrived, Edwin took the leash and was confidently in control of Stanley. We’ve done meet-and-greets before where the sitter gives your dog a few pats and focuses more on chatting with you. This was more like a test drive, where Edwin paid close attention to how Stanley handled the new environment. It gave us real peace of mind knowing they took the responsibility seriously and that Stanley would be well cared for while we were away. Stanley is pretty easy going... until it thunders. Then he becomes very anxious. Unfortunately, there were a few storms while we were away. We left medication to help, but it takes awhile to kick in and it sometimes only takes the edge off. If you have a dog like this, you feel pretty helpless during these storms. There is no magic fix. You make them as comfortable as possible, but the only way "out" is getting through the storm. Edwin was proactive with the medication, and along with his family, helped Stanley ride out those storms as well as we could have ourselves. We’re grateful to Edwin and his family for taking such great care of Stanley and would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a sitter.”

About: Hello all pet parents! I am new to Rover. I've recently relocated to Luling, TX. I am looking for small gigs like taking care of furry friends because pets are my life, as I'm sure they are yours too! Most of my professional and personal experiences with pets have been with dogs and cats, to include feedings, scheduled walks and playtimes, administering medications, bathing, nail trims, and just plain ol' cuddling. I am big on SAFETY as it is the most important thing when your pet is away from you or in someone else's care. I understand different breeds may need different types of attention, especially when factoring in age and certain health conditions. Please allow me a chance to meet your pup (or cat) and help you out occasionally! Cheers! (Smaller critters welcome, we all need a little checking on!) I’m currently a stay at home pet mom while I attend online classes to become an educator, which is self paced. It is very easy for me to balance your pets needs with my own! I may allow overnight boarding from time to time in my own home, I will keep my calendar open for that accordingly. I can take your pets outside to favored parks or areas, or care for them in your own home. I do not wish to stay overnight in your home, but may be available for extended hours.
