About: What sets me apart from other sitters is my hands-on experience caring for a wide variety of animals on my family’s farm over the past 8 years. About: Hello my name is Cayla. I’m from Houston, Tx and I've been an animal lover my whole life. I’ve raised other animals in FFA for my high school years while alson having other house hold pets within the years ( rabbit, turtle, dogs, and fish). I’m choosing to do Rover so I can build clientele and so I can expand my knowledge on dogs outside my pit bull and a few other breeds I’ve dealt with within my family and friends. I do work from home and only work 4 days out the week so it's no hassle making sure everything and everyone is doing great. During the booking process I do ask for a routine so I can keep everything consistent. I do have doggie treats, extra blankets, training pads, and doggie toys I keep on stand by. In the morning I will open cages and let them move around freely aslong as im home and awake. If they need medication I have no problem giving it to them aswell, I do work from home so that will not be an issue.

I can do day or overnight sitting in my own apartment, I know there’s no straight access to a backyard :(( but i take my dog to the apartments dog park twice a day for 30-90mins. My apartment also has a nice big field right outside my door that i take them to go potty as many times needed! I live with my fiance and we work opposite shifts so someone is always awake! I don’t have any experience with shot medications but i sure know how to hide a pill in some chicken or cheese! We have plenty of toys to play with and my lab LOVES making new friends, he always has a ton of energy to keep your furr baby busy! If your dog needs to be crated or isn’t crate trained i can accommodate that, i have big crate here or you’re welcome to bring your own. Im available for overnight boarding/day sitting on the weekends (Fri@4:00pm - Sun@11:00pm) I work full time(M-F) 2 minutes away from my apartment and can go home on breaks. And they wouldn’t mind if i needed to leave for 10 minutes for a potty break. So if you absolutely need me to watch on a weekday i can make accommodations. My fiance will be home during the day since he works an opposite shift but probably asleep. I also have a camera in the living room. We can crate if crate trained if you feel more comfortable with that! My puppy had a bad chewing habit when he was little, so we only keep the floors clean (except for toys of course) I can easily crate your dog if needed. About: I am a stay at home homesteader that has three rescue doggos that live inside and a guardian livestock dog that spends her days taking care of the farm. We have hatched, raised and spend our days giving all the snacks to almost 50 chickens, 17 guineas, and 6 ducks. We have 2 goats one of which is about to give us a third. I know how hard it can be the travel with peace of mind without your babies with you, and I’d love to be able to help people enjoy your time away from home. Being able to set my own schedule while caring for other animals will allow me the ability to still care for my own animals without pulling time from them. I am a part-time stylist looking to fill my extra time getting paid for something I love to do. My two Siamese cats, Pixie & Dusty, are pretty low maintenance. They have dry food/water dispensers and get wet food as a “treat” at dinner time. My Great Dane puppy, Memphis, needs a little bit more of my time. If I stay over at your house, I need to make sure my dog is kenneled by 8pm, and let out the next morning no later than 6:30am. My schedule is very flexible otherwise! At client’s homes I always follow instructions carefully. I prefer to have a few notes of written instructions to reference. Instructions can be printed out or sent to my phone. My animals are pretty low-maintenance, so if I end up sitting locally at a clients home, it’s not a lot of trouble. I don’t mind sleeping/cuddling with your furbaby at night. ❤️

If your dog is crate-trained, I’m comfortable using one for rest or bedtime.
