“This is a 5-Wag doggie hotel! Seriously, the accommodations are clean and homey, with individual decks in the runs and a resort pool to splash in. Daily walks within the fenced acreage make it a great place for dogs who like the great outdoors. The kennel clubhouse is air conditioned and very comfy. Beds are provided but Julie was flexible and welcomed the favored blankies and toys we brought. My very skittish dog Missy actually allowed some petting during the stay, a real testament to Julie’s sincere affection for the dogs in her care. I can heartily recommend her services and will use her again!”
About: I am an animal lover. I have three dogs of my own, all small rescues. I love big dogs but can’t have them in our tiny house. I am a full time nurse practitioner but take care of animals on my days off. I know how hard it is to find loyal and trustworthy people to care for my animals. That is why I wanted to provide this service. Also, walking and playing with dogs and cats is fun. We also travel and are interested in keeping dogs during travel. My husband and I work together to make sure our dogs are outside regularly throughout the day. I will only be taking appointments on my days off, so my schedule is a little sporadic. For overnight stays, I need to have walked your dogs at least 4-5 times and/or completed a trial of doggy day care to make sure your dog gets along with my personal animals.

About: I’ve taken care of animals since I was about 10, I’m 21 now. My major is Pre-Veterinary because I’ve had a love for animals and dream of being a vet since I was 7. I have a cat of my own, Luna, and she’s my world. I treat her like a baby so I would love to share the same love to your fur babies! About: I am currently a student of the University of Texas Arlington working on my Master’s degree in Social Work and I am hoping to make some extra money to help pay for some of the college expenses. A few fun facts about me are that I love playing sports, having movie nights, and cooking. Growing up, I had a ton of animals and currently I don’t have any pets so I miss loving on all the fur babies. I also monitor their behavior to make sure they are happy, healthy, and not feeling stressed while their owner is away. I recently cared for my neighbors large and small dogs, 2 cats and a bird on a last minute need while they went away for the holiday weekend. I did home visit twice a day as requested. I would spend 30-45 minutes at the home as the owners requested. The dogs knew me & I was like family. They were happy to see me. I feed them, played with them, let them out to potty and gave appropriate treats for good behavior. My last day they dogs laid on top of me like I was their family. The dogs also listened to me when it was time to kennel them even though they didn't want to go in they did. I currently volunteer for the past 12 years with a domestic rabbit rescue. I go out to the rescue when I can to help, feed, care for special needs bunnies, clean up them yard/x-pens where the bunnies are housed. I give medication when needed. Including medication by means of oral, drops and shots. Including helping with the rescue I also foster bunnies in my home in addition to my 2 fur babies of lionhead bunnies. One of which can be seen in my pictures. Pet sitting/house sitting is my primary job. I enjoy spoiling my pets along with my clients pets. This makes my clients able to enjoy holiday or work trips without worry. As I make sure to treat the clients pet like my own and give lots of love and care like their human. About: I have several years of experience pet sitting as well as working as a veterinary technician for three years in the Houston area. I have grown up around animals all my life and dogs are absolutely my favorite animals! I have two of my own, one of which I've had since 2010 when he was a little puppy around 10 weeks old. I nursed him back to health when he had parvovirus! My other is a smaller rescue dog I adopted in 2017 who originally tested positive for heartworm disease but now he has been heatworm free for about two years! I am currently working a full time Monday through Friday job, but I do have weekends free and evenings. I also can get Fridays off most of the time if needed. I have been at my current job for almost 7 years so my bosses are very negotiable and I am generally able to adjust my schedule with advance notice. I will play with your pups, cuddle, take them on walks, and even to the dog park with your approval! I have a smaller dog of my own who loves to play with other dogs!
About: I have had dogs my entire life, as a four years ago I got an orange cat and could not choose between either for the life of me. I cannot wait to meet and take care of your fur babies :) I am currently in nursing school only taking up 2 to 3 days a week. About: I am currently a student of the University of Texas Arlington working on my Master’s degree in Social Work and I am hoping to make some extra money to help pay for some of the college expenses. A few fun facts about me are that I love playing sports, having movie nights, and cooking. Growing up, I had a ton of animals and currently I don’t have any pets so I miss loving on all the fur babies. I love spending time loving and playing with dogs and I believe this is a great opportunity for me to be able to do that, make a little extra money, and get some exercise in as well. I am working full time from 8:30am to 5pm, however, I would be open to doing a walk and check in during my lunch hour and anytime before or after work. When the pets are in my home, they are allowed to roam free and play all they want as long as they are potty trained. In the clients home I respectfully abide by the owners instructions left for me.

If they like to ride in the car they can run errands with me if necessary and I can get them to their groomer. If boarding at my house the animals are kept separate! I have divided yards and will start daily boarding April 15 2026 Sharla Johnson - I work part time from home So I am available during the day and for overnight stays! I am a non smoker if it matters and I can provide references. My overnight rate is not 24/7 stays. I can do that at a different rate I’ll care for pets in my clients home!
