“AMAZING experience! Lilia provided a ton of adorable pictures, daily updates, and a safe environment. Not worrying about my little dude while I was out of town was so nice and I will definitely be rebooking.”

“Savannah and Gabriel were wonderful! They provided me with photo updates throughout Junie’s stay with them which was so, so nice and reassuring! I would trust them to care for any pet! Thank you so much, Savannah and Gabriel!!”

“Marissa was a wonderful host to my girl. I get frequent updates, pictures, and videos of my pup playing and looking happy as a clam. I felt very fortunate to have had such an awesome sitter for my dog and peace of mind while I was away. Would definitely recommend Marissa for a short or long term stay!”

“Our puppy had a fantastic time with Allison and her family. She became part of their loving people/dog family while there. Allison also sent lots of cute pics which made me feel better about leaving my pup.”

“Kelly was absolutely fantastic watching our little 2-year old chiweenie for 6 days. She and her husband were very attentive and thoughtful with our dog’s needs and quirks. They made sure to play his favorite games to get all his energy out and sent daily updates (complete with pictures!). He had a big smile on his face. She will be our go-to sitter for future stays! 🐶👍”

“The backyard gave Tucker lots of high quality play time and Desmond & Robyn were fantastic at sending me pictures of Tucker intermittently throughout the day. Next time I am in need of a sitter, Desmond & Robyn will definitely be my first choice. Highly recommend!”

“Lexi really enjoyed being there and I have nothing but good things to say about these two. I appreciate them coming through for me and keeping lexi happy in my absence!”

“Aine was such a wonderful sitter for our pup! She is extremely responsive and always sent great pictures. She was flexible when we had some last minute travel changes and helped us feel at ease during our entire trip. We would highly recommend Aine!!”

“Alyssa was amazing taking care of my dog. she showered her cleaned her bowls and updated me every chance she got. 100% recommend! she was very understanding when i picked up my dog a little late”

“My senior furry baby was safe and sound at Rui’s. I appreciated the daily communication via texts/videos. Thank you again Rui and Samurai for taking care of us.”

“Needed to find a place to board for the weekend on short notice, as our usual sitter was unavailable. Marc took great care of our pup and was very responsive before and during the stay. Our little guy clearly had a blast playing with Marc's dog, as he came back and immediately fell asleep early.”

“Denise was awesome! She sent updates and photos throughout Bentley’s stay which made me comfortable and reassured. Bentley seemed to enjoy her large backyard to play in.”

“Amanda was a great sitter for our dogs. She sent me frequent pictures which really helped - I was missing them on my trip. They came back happy and very very tired. :) We can't wait to book her again.”

“Honestly spectacular! This was my first time ever using River and Gil made the process super comfortable for me. Two weeks prior, I was able to go for a free meet and greet so my dog could get acquainted and she was lovely. Then during my return trip, my flight got delayed by over 7 hours and I had to pick up my dog the next day. She was super super understanding and responsive. She was accommodating to the new situation. I honestly couldn't have asked for a better first experience with someone on this app.”

“I am so so so beyond pleased with the care Amanda and Jared provided for my dog Kaio! It was super last minute and they took him the day off for about a week. My dog is very high energy and can be a lot to handle, but they knew just what to do and are clearly really well versed with all sorts of pups. It’s hard to find people that can handle my dog but as soon as I met Jared I knew kaio would be just fine. I was also afraid of leaving him with so many other doggies, unsure if he would get along with all of them as he can be a bit alpha, but he ended up doing great and had an absolute blast! Amanda and Jared were also great about sending tons of photos and videos. I was in tears dropping him off and in the end felt bad picking him up and taking him away from all his new friends! Can’t recommend these 2 enough 🙏🏼”

“Stevie watched Karter over the holidays and we knew she had the best time. She loves snuggle with Stevie and playing with their dogs. We also got great updates throughout our vacation on how she’s doing.”

“My kitties are always so happy to see Margaret! She spends time with them, plays with them and loves on them every time she comes to visit. Feels so good to know our boys are in good hands while we are away! Highly recommend :-)”

“I’m so glad we went with Lizeth! She dropped in and checked on our two cats while we were away for a weekend trip. It was a last minute ask, and she pulled through! Even coming the day before to meet our littles. She has 4 cats of her own and I could tell she was comfortable with ours. Would recommend working with her and would hire again. ☺️”

“Kirby was great! I needed some last minute drop ins for my two kitties and she was quick to respond. Her thorough communication with each visit really helped ease my anxiety in having to leave them. My kitties are usually shy around strangers, but I can tell Kirby made an effort to make them feel comfortable.”

“Chelsea did a wonderful job taking care of our girls while we were away! She was caring and attentive, and knowing they were in such good hands made being away so much easier and less stressful. It gave us peace of mind knowing Chelsea was there looking after them. We truly appreciate all the love and care she gave our girls and would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring cat sitter!”

“Lori did great as always and was able to cover holidays for me. I am so lucky to have her and the kitties are always glad to see her. Mittie watches out the window when she leaves.”

“Katie did an amazing job taking care of my cat Harlow while I was away! She sent detailed report cards every day and I came home to a happy cat. I definitely recommend her.”

“Kaleigh was absolutely amazing taking care of my cat Gossamer while I was out of town! She took thorough photos and left a detailed report card every day. She also brought in a package for me and kept me posted about any questions she had. She’s also super responsive! I’ll absolutely book her again — it’s so awesome and comforting to find a Rover like her :)”

“Laura was awesome! She watched our three kitties over the week of Christmas and took great care of them. She’s responsive and kind and we’d definitely book with her again!”

“Thank you Casey for taking such good care of Sappy. You were very reliable and made our trip that much more relaxing! We would love to use you again in the future.”

About: All throughout my life my family has always had pets. I’ve had dogs, rabbits, cats, etc. Growing up with so many different animals I learned how to care for them, love and appreciate all the joy and fun they bring, and most importantly respect their boundaries. I have always loved animals and wanted every pet without a home to find their forever home. In middle school and in high school I found a nonprofit group where I grew up called lost cat and dog foundation. This foundation holds a special place in my heart because they have amazing beliefs and activism to helping pets find their forever home. I volunteered there most weekends for almost 6 years helping pets gets adopted. When I was little I always walked dogs around my neighborhood and pet sat frequently to make money. I have sat for many types of pets during my childhood, I sat for many dogs, cats, and even handicapped animals. In high school I walked every day after school and frequently pet sitted for one of my favorite boys in the whole world Remy. I became very close with his family and still keep in contact with them 6 years later. With all that being said I want you to know that I am here for your pets and your family. I do have a very busy schedule when it comes to school and my part time job. However with a week or two notice I am able to not work at my part time job and focus solely on pet care and school. I would be able to walk your dog or go let them out during my multiple hour breaks in between classes. I would ensure that my schedule aligns with the needs of the pet before taking on the care. I would not be able to do in home care in my own home, but I plan to spend the night at the pets house every night. I also plan to do school work and more from the house I will be sitting at. This way I can ensure your pet isnt left alone for long periods of time. I will play and provide every need to your pet. I also plan on following your instructions to a T. I do this because as pet owner myself I understand that you know your pet best and want to ensure their saftey and happiness when going through a stressful time.

“Sierra is Wonderful! She instantly won over our cat, Cosmo, and gave him the love and attention he craves. She sent pics and videos during every visit, responded to my extra questions quickly and patiently. Even our shy cat, Piper, who expectedly hid like she always does, was totally fine when we arrived home, which for her means she was safe and well fed and unscarred! In addition to trusting Sierra with our sweet but needy animals, we also just really like her. 😻”

“Page was excellent! She came to meet the cats and I before sitting them and it was super helpful to me. She was reliable & I can tell she loves and cares animals very much! I would definitely recommend working w Page!”

“Megan did a fantastic job. My kitties are very shy but she had them coming around after a few days. She was always on time and good about reporting back to me. I felt very comfortable leaving them in her care. I will use her again when I need someone to care for my kitties.”

“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ She was amazing with Waffles! I received tons of pictures and updates, which made me feel so comfortable while I was away. Waffles came back happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for. You can tell she genuinely loves dogs. I will definitely be booking with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable sitter!”

“I am writing this after the first week of daycare for my young lab and could not be more pleased with the care and attention she is receiving. Lola has “endless energy” and came home exhausted every day! Ashley has provided great communication throughout and I would recommend highly.”

About: *10 minutes from Austin Bergstrom Airport* Hi there! I’m Stevie, and caring for animals has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. My partner Brandon and I make a great team and we love opening our home to pets and making sure they feel safe, loved, and completely at ease while you’re away. Your pup will stay in a clean, cozy environment where routines are followed, needs are met, and cuddles are always available. We treat every dog like our own (which means spoiled in the best way). You’ll receive regular photo/video updates so you can relax knowing your furry family member is happy and in good hands. Whether your pet needs special accommodations, extra attention, or just a comfortable place to nap, we’re here to make sure their stay is pleasant. When your dog stays with us, they become part of our little family. Thank you for taking the time to read our profile and we’d love to meet your fur baby soon! Brandon and I both work from home, so your pup will always have someone around for company, potty breaks, playtime, and plenty of love. We already have two dogs of our own, so caring for additional pups fits naturally into our daily routine. Our clean home and fully fenced backyard make it easy to keep everyone safe, comfortable, and happy throughout the day. Safety and comfort are my top priorities. In our home, Brandon and I maintain a clean, supervised, and pet-friendly environment where your dog can relax and feel secure. We follow your care instructions closely—feeding schedules, medications, crate routines, and any special needs are always taken seriously. Unlike a noisy boarding facility, your dog will enjoy a calm home setting with regular potty breaks, personalized attention, and a fenced backyard for safe outdoor time. We treat every dog like part of our family and make sure they always feel seen, valued, and cared for. Please feel free to schedule a meet and greet!

About: I consider myself a dog lover since I was a kid! I grew up with two dogs and have been dogsitting for three years now. My wife and I have a lovely, very friendly Chihuahua, his name is Domingo and he’s 1 year old. We recently moved from Downtown Austin where we used to dog sit for our neighbors and people in our building - from puppies to senior dogs (small-medium size only). Looking to meet more dogs in the area to take care of! I'm currently searching for a job and decided to join Rover as a dogsitter in the meantime. As result, my schedule is extremely flexible throughout the whole week. If you need someone to take care of your doggo, please reach out and I'll be there. My wife and I live in a lovely-cozy three bedroom house in Easton Park (Southeast Austin area). We generally care for small and medium size dogs since we can accommodate those more easily in our space. We live close to multiple parks and walking trails for ideal dog walking adventures and sniffaris :)

About: I’m a huge animal lover and grew up surrounded by all kinds of pets, including dogs, cats, chickens, ducks, bunnies, and parrots. I’ve also regularly watched family members’ and friends’ pets while they’re away on trips, so I’m comfortable following feeding schedules, giving pets attention and exercise, and making sure they feel safe and cared for. Having experience with such a wide variety of animals, I’m comfortable with different personalities, routines, and needs. I’m a recent Texas State University graduate who just moved to Austin, and I’d love to spend my free time caring for pets while getting settled into my new place. Most importantly, I’ll treat your pets like they’re my own, with patience, attention, and plenty of love! I’m currently available throughout the week and have open availability on weekends. Until September 1st, my schedule is very flexible, so I can accommodate different routines and pet care needs. Starting September 1st, I’ll begin my full time job, but I’ll still be available after around 4–5 PM on weekdays and throughout the weekends. I’m happy to work with your schedule and make sure your pets receive consistent, dependable care. Growing up, my pets were always kept on a consistent schedule, which helped keep them happy, comfortable, and well-adjusted. I would feed them and take them for a walk in the morning around 7 AM, give them additional walks and attention throughout the day, and then feed and walk them again around 7 PM. When caring for your pets, I’ll make sure to follow their normal routines as closely as possible. I understand that every pet is different, so I’ll prioritize their safety, comfort, and individual needs while treating them with the same care and attention I would give my own pets.
About: Trained my Australian shepherd when I was young and have lived with animals my whole life. I am very good at reading animal body language and personalities from having animals my entire life. All 4 of my childhood pets lived well past their regular life expectancies due to very diligent vet work and exercise. I have dog say senior dogs with special needs, puppies, cats, rodents, and birds. I love animals and honestly any excuse to meet new ones is very exciting. I can always work Sundays and Fridays and I have time Tuesday and wednesday evenings to check in on them when needed or go on a little walk. My cat is fed 3 times a day for a total of 2/3 cup of food, he has a play routine before bed, is let on the balcony for fresh air with his harness and a line connected to the door so he cannot get to the edge of the concrete. He takes his flea meds every month, and goes to the vet every 6 for a little check in as he’s on a small weight loss journey. I work 6-8hrs a day 5 days a week but luckily he has a a cat roommate to nap and play with while I’m gone

“First time actually having a reliable person that actually showed up, Chelsea was very nice handled my dog with extra care and I love the photos that was taken along their walk. I will be booking again with Chelsea..”

About: I’m a huge animal lover and have two dogs of my own, so my house and life are always full of wagging tails and happy paws. I’ve also cared for pets for friends and family over the years and love making sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable while their owners are away. I attended vet tech school and worked in a veterinary office, which gave me hands-on experience with animal care and health. Whether it’s walks, playtime, or extra cuddles, I’ll make sure your pet feels right at home. Caring for animals is already a part of my everyday life since I have pets of my own. Walks, feeding, playtime, and making sure animals feel comfortable are all built into my routine. Pet sitting fits easily into my schedule, and I genuinely enjoy making time for animals so they get the attention, care, and cuddles they deserve while their owners are away. Whether pets are in my home or I’m caring for them in theirs, I try to keep their routine as close to normal as possible so they feel safe and relaxed. That means sticking to feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and making sure they get lots of love and attention. I pay attention to their personalities and comfort levels and always make sure they feel cared for and at ease while their owner is away.

About: Hello!! I have a deep love for animals and grew up with 2 dogs who I loved dearly. I pet sat all throughout highschool before joining the military and very regularly for 2 huskies while i was in. I just got out of the military and came across rover which seems like an excellent way for me to satisfy my love for animals, care for pets, and make some extra money.:)) I have a flexible schedule, so I’m able to adjust my day around your pet’s routine. Whether that’s morning walks, midday check-ins, or evening care, I make sure your pet’s needs are always a priority. I build my day around them so they feel comfortable and well cared for. I am available on weekdays and most weekends. Hi! I provide in-home pet sitting so your pet can stay comfortable in their own space while you’re away. I stick closely to your pet’s routine, including feeding, walks, playtime, and any special care they need. I’m very attentive to behavior and make sure your pet feels safe, relaxed, and loved the entire time. I also keep your home tidy and send regular updates so you have peace of mind.
About: I have taken care of many animals for the past 9 years and enjoy meeting each and every one. I am very familiar with dachshunds, corgis, pit bulls, and chihuahuas, but am open to any and all pets. I am a stay at home mom so my schedule is very open and flexible. Your pet will be in great care to not get left alone. I have a fenced yard and a baby gate to keep pets from walking up stairs if they have issues with trying to walk up stairs. I can kennel pets if needed as well as supply a water and food bowl.
About: I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life and have always loved being the person friends, roommates, and family can count on to care for their pets. Throughout the years, I’ve regularly stepped in to help with walks, feedings, playtime, and keeping dogs company while their owners were away. I also have experience caring for dogs with special needs, including dogs who are reactive or aggressive toward other dogs or people. I understand that every dog has their own personality, comfort level, and routines, and I’m patient and attentive when helping them feel safe and comfortable especially when their owners aren’t home. My goal is to give you peace of mind knowing your dog is being cared for, loved, and treated like family while you’re away. 🐶❤️ I currently work a full-time remote job, so I’m home every day from 8 AM–5 PM and have plenty of flexibility to give your dog attention throughout the day. I typically only leave home for short periods to run an occasional errand, work out, or go for a walk. I’m naturally pretty active and enjoy going on walks, so I’d love to have a furry companion join me! I also have a fairly relaxed social schedule and don’t go out much on evenings or weekends, which gives me plenty of availability for pet sitting, walks, check-ins, and overnight stays. Your dog would have lots of companionship, attention, and opportunities for walks and playtime while you’re away. My schedule allows me to make caring for a pet a priority rather than something I have to squeeze into a busy routine. I don’t have any pets of my own, so my home can be a great fit for dogs who don’t do well around other animals. I live in an apartment community with walking paths, dog parks, and several gated areas, making it easy to get outside for walks, playtime, and potty breaks while keeping your dog’s comfort and safety in mind. I’m also very affectionate with pets and would be happy to welcome your dog onto the furniture or even into my bed if that’s what they’re used to at home. I’m equally comfortable following a household routine where dogs are crate trained or prefer their own space. I’ve cared for dogs who are more sensitive or protective in their home environment, so I understand that every dog has different boundaries. I’m happy to learn your dog’s specific cues, routines, and preferences including how they like to be approached, where they feel most comfortable, and any special instructions you have. My priority is to make your pet feel safe, comfortable, loved, and as close to their normal routine as possible while you’re away.

About: I've had dogs in the house since I was 6, and today I share mine with Bucky, my bff rescue shepherd — self-trained from day one, with a rock-solid heel and off-leash recall to show for it. I offer dog walking, house-sitting, and check-in visits, and I'm happy to fold in whatever training habits you already have in place — reinforcing heel, working on walking etiquette, or just making sure your pup gets a solid outing (Onion Creek trails included, if that fits). If it's a good match, I'm also open to having your dog stay with me directly. I frequently look after friends' dogs myself, so this isn't new territory — just something I genuinely enjoy. My approach is all about consistency, confidence, and empathy; every dog's different, and a good relationship starts with meeting them on their terms. I work freelance from home, so I'm around, flexible, and rarely without my treat pouch. Would love to help with your dogs in any way I can. I work from home part-time, so my schedule is flexible and I’m home for most of the day — no long stretches where a dog would be left alone. I’m consistent with morning and evening walks, and add a midday walk when weather allows. Throughout the day, dogs get playtime and treats woven into the routine, not just tacked on at the end. I also have a car with a dog-proofed backseat, which makes vet runs, park trips, or pickups/drop-offs easy and low-stress. Every visit is built around the pet’s normal routine — feeding, walks, and playtime stay consistent with what they’re used to. I keep a close eye for safety indoors and out, secure gates/doors, and make sure water and food are always accessible. For transport, my car has a dog-proofed backseat. I check in regularly and adjust based on each pet’s comfort level and needs.

About: I grew up in a household with 3+ cats consistently combined with many other animals that i grew to love and take care of over the years. My parents have been in animal care almost my entire life so i’d be up to taking care of any furry friend! I am a full-time college student in the fall, lifeguard in the summer, and my work ethic is on-point! And never will i purposely walk out on an opportunity to watch your animals! I will ensure care with clear communication with the throughout my care process. Making sure your furry friends are taken care of properly is my top priority!

“Our puppy had a fantastic time with Allison and her family. She became part of their loving people/dog family while there. Allison also sent lots of cute pics which made me feel better about leaving my pup.”

“Needed to find a place to board for the weekend on short notice, as our usual sitter was unavailable. Marc took great care of our pup and was very responsive before and during the stay. Our little guy clearly had a blast playing with Marc's dog, as he came back and immediately fell asleep early.”

“Amanda was a great sitter for our dogs. She sent me frequent pictures which really helped - I was missing them on my trip. They came back happy and very very tired. :) We can't wait to book her again.”

“Friendly, reliable, and communicative. They followed medication and feeding instructions, sent updates, and walked my pups. I felt confident in their care of my two dogs while I was out of the country.”

“Elizabeth was great with my dog Opal! She tried different techniques to help calm her down as Opal can be very anxious around other dogs — I felt very at ease while I was away on my trip and she made sure to update me on how she was doing.”

“Sarah was a great communicator the entire time and proactive about all logistical things! She was super flexible when I had to add an additional day of care last minute and checked in about anything she had a question about while my dog was with her. Keanu came home happy and well-cared for :)”

“Jon was great way beyond my expectation. Easy to communicate with. I knew when my dogs were in great hands when I dropped them off. The best part of dropping them off was Roxy (Jon’s dog). Probably the coolest dog I’ve ever met.”

“He was great! He sent a lot of updates and pictures! My dog even cuddled up to him on day one, which is huge for him. If I need to board him again, I would absolutely leave him with Ryan!!”

“Amazing experience! She took great care of my dog, sent lots of pictures and updates, and even groomed her. When my flight got canceled she was super accommodating and added another night. Would absolutely book again!”

“Juni had a great time with Cassandra and Jason. This was her first time sharing a space with a cat and they were happy to organize a meet and greet prior to her stay. It’s clear they have a lot of experience caring for dogs. Juni can be a bit hesitant but she warmed to them quickly and appeared to make herself at home in their care!”

“Marie was amazing! Communication was easy, her house and backyard were wonderful and her dog was as sweet as can be. We will definitely be checking if she us available to watch our dog next time we go out of town. Thank again Marie!”

“Christine and Colin took amazing care of my Tieghan! It was my first time leaving her with someone outside of family and I felt comfortable from the minute I dropped her off. They sent consistent pictures and updates on how she was doing throughout the 5 days I was gone and were really flexible with pick up and drop off times. Tieghan barely wanted to leave when I arrived to take her home and it was clear they really treated her as their own! I will absolutely be using Christine and Colin again and cannot recommend them enough.”
