About: I have been a dog momma for about 30 years. Presently have 2, 1 Yorkies and a Sheepadoodle, who would love some playmates! I have a fenced in yard, and work from home so am available to their needs all day. Treats provided courtesy of Barkbox, with a large bin of doggy toys to keep them entertained! I would be happy to give your pet the love and attention that you would while you are away. Live in a country type setting, with room to run. My husband is also an animal lover, and either of us would be happy to throw a ball and play some fetch, or whatever else your furry friend enjoys doing. Happy to meet with you and your pet, to see if they would fit. I'm currently working part time, but I work from home so I am always here to let your dog outside or to get a quick bit of attention. I do everything I can to to meet the needs of your dog to assure they are safe, comfortable, and having fun. I live alone and have a pretty big house where the puppers or kitties won’t get bored, I have a fenced back yard where they can go to town! Besides that I am just a very patient individual who loves animals. I work from home so I have a very flexible schedule. I make my own schedule in accordance to what is best for my service. IMPORTANT INFORMATION: HOUSE SITTING: I would just like to clarify the services that I am to provide to you (according to ROVER guidelines) when I’m HOUSE SITTING. A lot of people get a bit confused regarding the actual service we are to provide because rover does not do a very good job defining each service. House sitting is essentially OVER NIGHT sitting, a sitter comes and stays over night to watch over your pup/pups/pet and leaves in the morning. I usually take an over night sitting as an 8hr shift, so if I come at 10PM, I leave at 6-7AM. Unfortunately, house sitting is not a service where the sitter stays at your home over night and comes to check on your pet several times a day, those would be “drop-in visits” and you would need to book those :). I understand it could get expensive, so In cases where the client lives really close to me, I am willing to work with you, just contact me :). I usually take care of pets the same way I do with my family dog. With kindness patience and attentiveness. Snacks as well, unless instructed other wise.
About: I spent 3 years researching to train my dog , Walter Galway , he's a golden retriever and I can say the research paid off. He's my perfect doggo. I've also trained my friends dogs for free , I've done that plenty times. I also spent 1 year volunteering at an animal shelter to learn more Abt animal care. I definitely got all different kinds of dogs and behaviors to learn from in that time . I'm free pretty much everyday of the week. I'm home all hours of the day. I spoke to her and let her know my situation and she offered to meet me more than halfway so I wouldn't miss too much time away from my weekend getaway with my family.
